Costa Verde Contracting

The brick work was great, once it was completed (it took months longer than initially agreed & we lived with a sand pit all summer). We asked for a premium garden soil and we got sandy gravel with a bit of dirt mixed in. I am trying to amend it so it resembles soil. So, the hard landscaping turned out great eventually, but other jobs took precedence so we had to wait. Not sure they know anything about gardening after the 'premium' priced soil we received Well, I'll go with a smaller company next time and check references!

Completely frustrated.

During my consulatation with Joakim I explained that because I have had surgery and my husband has a bad back we cannot get down to do the weeding. Joakim Understood that weeding was the priority.

On the first visit I wasn't home and the job was mediocre, but I let it go. On the 2nd visit very little got done and I was told the regular crew were off sick. After the bad service of the last visit I was given 15 minutes notice that they were coming and wasn't able to be here for the 3rd visit. They "hoed out visible weeds in beds". (I have pictures of this shoddy work if you'd like to see them). We can hoe. I didn't hire them to hoe! That wasn't the worst of it. I was charged $100.00 per hour (last visit, for 2 people) and my garden is a mess. And 7 years of cyclamen corms are gone but the weeds remain!

They refuse to return my husbands telephone call or meet with us to discuss.

Appalling. Complete lack of integrity.

This is second year running that I have Costa Verde landscaping do my winter clean up. I wish I had taken before and after photos. They do a FANTASTIC job. They give you an estimate and that is what you pay. The first one was a little high for me so I asked if I could just have certain things done and they were very amendable to that. I got the new estimate and approved it and the fellows were in my backyard in three working days. The young men were polite, fast, hard working. They went above and beyond what I expected. I would highly recommend this firm. You will not be sorry.

The service we received from Costa Verde was excellent from start to finish. Prompt replies and a hardworking team of landscapers made for a great experience. They turned our very sad front yard into a beautiful garden. We asked for a drought resistant garden and they recommended a lovely mix of flowers, trees and shrubs. I'm looking forward to watching it grow!
