Cotfort Residential Remodeling

I hired Umid who runs Cotfort to do 2 bathroom remodels. This was a project I'd wanted to complete for many years. But every quote I got prior to Cotfort I felt was extremely expensive. Cotfort came in with reasonable quotes. Having never used them before I asked for 3 references. All the references were for bathroom remodel and all were positive. I decided to give Umid a chance. He had Orkhan handle the work for us. Orkhan was exceptionally excellent. He's pleasant, helpful and extremely skilled. We had a couple unique issues which he helped navigate through. I. The end all went as planned and the job came out excellent. Between Umid who acted as the contractor and Orkhan his sub contractor I felt all was professional, fair and no drama. I highly recommend Cotfort for your project.

I used Cotfort to remove and install a new mailbox post. Umid was very knowledgeable about the process, explaining that we'll need to use a 4x4 post and additional concrete to strengthen the stand, in addition to going 2 feet into the dirt.

The technician arrived on time, did a diligent job, and cleaned up afterwards, even hauling my old mailbox and post free of charge (this was something I was planning to do on my own).

The entire process end to end was seamless; Cotfort was communicative throughout. I will definitely use them for other future jobs around our home.

We needed to install a retractable outdoor water hose, but weren't able to drill into the exterior wall. We called on Sunday, Cotfort Handyman responded immediately and scheduled a visit the next day.

They showed up right on time, brought professional tools and managed to not only drill the holes but also install the whole thing cleanly within 20 min. They also tested to make sure it functions properly.

I contacted Cotfort Handyman services to get a deadbolt lock installed and had a bathroom faucet replaced. I called and same day they were able to do the job around 6pm, and their prices were very reasonable. Apparently, Cotfort does smaller handyman jobs but really expanding into larger projects, too.

They were super efficient, clean and very easy to work with. I believe handyman services are one that you want on speed dial for any in home service needs and Umid and his brother were wonderful to work with. I am thinking of a bathroom remodel and am seriously considering Cotfort even with the couple small jobs they did for me. Umid and his brother came with smiling faces at the end of the day ready to work and I appreciated that! These guys have it dialed in! I contacted them for replacing the bathroom toilets, stair laminates and installing a light fixture. They did a neat job overall.

Their prices are reasonable, the service was prompt. They are extremely professional, reliable, punctual and clean up after themselves. I will definitely contact them for all future services I require.

Cotfort' is great! I needed a new kitchen & fast. Umid came & gave an estimate quick. Price is reasonable and good. The project leader is Niko. The service was great. They answered all my questions, and stayed within the budget.

I hired them to fix a huge hole in my garage ceiling. They showed up on time, and fixed it way earlier than I expected.

The did an amazing job at texturing, and painting the drywall that you couldn't tell where the original hole was at.

I needed a bathroom vanity counter, sink, and hardware to be replaced. Cotfort responded right away, provided a reasonable quote and we scheduled the work fore the next day. Service was incredibly fast and responsive. I sent a few messages and it felt like it next day. They had somebody out to handle the work I requested. I had two heavy duty shelves installed in our kitchen and a couple large shelves installed in our bedroom. They were installed in a rock solid manor, and was very professional.

After the work was done, I had a chandelier. I also wanted installed and inquired if they could take care of it. They took care of it on the spot at a good price. Would definitely go back to Cotfort again!

We'd been wanting to extend our existing kitchen cabinets and build a new pantry and additional cabinets matching the existing style.

While we were exploring options talking to a few other handy men and also checking options at Home Depot/Lowe's, none were able to give a clear committed design, price, and options that would make sense.

We found Umid through Yelp and decided to consult with him based on other good reviews.

Our experience working with Umid was excellent. Umid is very professional while also being pleasant, helpful, and pragmatic.

Specific to the project, he shared a few references of places to model and buy the cabinets. He was able to prioritize the project within a day of the cabinets being delivered and was able to get them installed in a day, working with 1 other person into late evening.

He was able to accommodate few adhoc requests around installing molding and adding a side panel for coverage with patience. Although it was almost 8 pm when the work got done, he didn't rush anything and did a thorough clean up of both the work area in the kitchen and clearing of boxes and supplies from the garage.

All in all, we're very pleased with the end result and would gladly recommend Cotford/Umid for similar work based on our experience.

Let me start by saying I was very skeptical starting a home upgrade project just because of the stories of horrible experiences my friends has with their contractors and home remodeling. Constant delays and expanding budget were two major problems everyone had warned me for.

My experience with Umid is beyond what I would have imagined and I would give 10 starts if yelp will allow me to. Umid and his team(Orkhan, Jamil) were truly professional. Always on time, listen to my requests or changes I needed in the initial plan we had agreed on. They accommodated them and educated me in case some of my proposals were not good.
Umid helped me purchase the raw and finished materials. Payment was progress based and what not.
Right from the day of rough estimates to the final day every team member was on time to arrive and no delays in the project from committed date even if we increased the scope a little in the middle. Right on budget and my house looks much better than we were thinking. Its a day a night diff between what my friends had prepared me for vs what I got.

One more thing to highlight is the amount of details Orkhan put in the work and never looked rushing to meet deadlines. That helped us know we are getting the best work through them.
Cotfort is now my only contractor company I would work for any of my future needs. Highly recommended.
