This place is super cute and has a very nice spot along the waterfront. Dining inside is cozy, but outside also looked like a good option on a nice weather day. Parking out front is paid which is a bummer, but if you are looking for a walk before or after this is a great choice. It looks like you could easily get here via the lightrail as well and then you wouldn't have to worry about parking time constraints and can have a more leisurely visit. I also appreciate places that post their wifi so you don't have to ask awkwardly.

We often struggle to find a place with coffee and vegan options when traveling that opens at a decent hour. After perusing so many menus and not finding a suitable mid morning option we decided upon this place. Previous reviews talked about a vegan breakfast sandwich which is no longer on the menu and they were unable to make the dairy free mac n cheese which was my first choice, but the vegan grilled cheese was tasty. I appreciate that the person behind the counter double checked that I wanted it made with vegan mayo. I also love anything that comes with more than one pickle. My partner enjoyed his pulled pork grilled cheese and we both thought the tomato soup was quite tasty.

I had an Eggnog Latte and Grilled Cheese. I've never had warm Eggnog before and was not really a fan. The flavors are quite good though, just not my drink. The grilled cheese is a four cheese blend and had a lovely cheese pull. The place seems like a nice spot to hang with some friends however it is a bit tight on space and the tables are quite close to one another. The outdoor seating looks like it will be great in better weather. Service was a little slow in terms of food, but as they only had 2 people working when I visited that was to be expected. Will stop in again in the future and try something else.

LOVE this coffee shop! My husband and I came here twice. We tried their latte and hot chocolate (dark chocolate) the first time. We just loved them so much especially the dark hot chocolate. We had tried hot chocolate from Thomas Haas many times. Finally we have found one coffee shop (this Craft Cafe) that can beat or can be competitive with Thomas Haas!!! Craft Cafe's hot chocolate tastes sooooo good that it is very smooth, thick and full of texture. The sweetness is exactly when we love.

After visiting Craft Cafe once, we decided to come back here to try their breakfast and coffee. We ordered their sausage roll, drip coffee (Brazil coffee beans), signature breakfast (which had two eggs, waffle, sausage, bacon, potatoes, a strawberry and some avocado) and dark hot chocolate (again!!! ). We were so happy and satisfied with the breakfast abs beverages.

A barista was very nice that she made two small cups of drip coffee for us to try (Mexican coffee beans). We liked the Brazilian ones more. But we just enjoyed our time having breakfast and coffee here.

The pricing was reasonable. Customer service was great. The coffee shop is full of different types of special coffee beans and tea that you can't really find them elsewhere.

It's a bit of difficult to look for parking spots. We paid parking in a parking lot with Safeway, Cinema, Shopper drugs Mart and etc. There are some retail parking installs in front of the cafe, but still need to pay for parking.

Would I come back again?! Yes!! But maybe I will take skytrain to come here, so it's more convenient that I don't have to worry about finding parking.

kind staff and cute aroma. however, their london fogs tasted awful and i had to throw it out, like legit the worst i've ever had. i think they used that horrible powdered stuff instead of real tea bags.

I want to love this cafe as it is definitely a nice addition to the quay area. The coffee is pretty good. The food not so much.

The food has been hit and miss for me. The chickpea sandwich which was recommended was tasty but only if you like meatless meal.

I was excited about the lobster Mac and cheese. Unfortunately I could barely taste it or find it. It did not help that it was in two small containers as they ran out of the usual box.

The worst was the french toast breakfast sandwich with bacon, maple syrup and cheddar. It was very hard and dry. It did not taste like French toast at all. See the pic. No eggy toast anywhere. I could not discern any maple syrup taste too.

I will probably still come here for the flat white (not the best but decent) and hot chocolate. The food, not so much.

The staff are lovely though and the place has covid-19 safety protocols.

Amazing coffee spot on the Quay. We got an iced tea and it was refreshing while not sacrificing on flavour or being too strong. Staff were friendly and would highly recommend!

I've come here a few times now, always while I'm walking along the Quay with my dog. This cafe is small enough with large windows that I am comfortable keeping an eye on my tied up pooch while I order inside. I'd like to see a little dog leash hook or something like that attached to a wall or pillar though, as I've had to tie him on a chair and I'm sure when summer hits those chairs will be taken by human bums.

The first couple times I came, I of course noticed all of the sweets and treats that are displayed at the front near the cashier. But on my latest visit, I JUST noticed that there are additional menus hanging on the wall next to the door. These menus have fresh meal-style items that aren't in the display case, and I'll definitely have to come back for lunch sometime. I have to point out that I think the menus are really poorly located, as I had been to the cafe at least 3 times before I noticed them! I'm still not entirely sure if you're supposed to take them off the wall to have a look or stand next to the doorway to read them and decide?

I've ordered a variety of coffees, and they have all been good. My most recent visit was a couple weeks ago and we ordered one of their seasonal beverages that was on the menu as well as a cafe au lait. After paying, the cafe au lait was given to me but it was a smaller size than I had ordered. The staff realized and replaced the drink, no problem. Then I waited a few more minutes and was told that they were actually out of the seasonal beverage. So we had to choose something else of equal value and wait another few minutes for that to be made. Not a huge deal. But then after receiving the new drink, it was actually really lukewarm, so we had to ask for it to be heated up. The drink was a bit too sweet for my tastes and I'm not sure if I'd get it again.

In the end, everything worked out and it wasn't a big deal. I think since this is still a fairly new place there are just some kinks to work out and staff skill and knowledge that will come from more time working there. I'm still very happy this place has opened up, and I recommend that you check it out too! In my opinion it is the best cafe in Downtown New West.

My hubby and I popped in yesterday. Great cafe, nice decor and ambiance. My husband and I ordered lattes, they were perfectly made. I chatted with the owner, she was kind and excited for her new cafe. It's always wonderful to see female entrepreneurs doing great things. Will be back.
