After going to another shop to get the job done and paying $190..I returned to the Craig shop and requested that Bob split the cost with me and he gave me a $100 bill. I am satisfied.

We brought our 1928 Chevrolet National to Craig's Auto because of their excellent reputation for the application of their careful and precise mechanical knowledge base in addressing classic car issues. We were absolutely delighted with the results. Our 1928 now starts and runs smoothly. The brakes have been installed, turning signals repaired and the car is now safe to drive.
We highly endorse Craig's Auto and Truck repair to customers seeking first class service for their vehicles.

This business work on our fleet vehicles, they do great service and have it done when they promised. They also work on classic cars, one of the best model A mechanic shop around.

I was referred here years ago. It's a family run garage. They're real nice and honest. They treat your car problems without trying to upsell you on a bunch of other stuff that is fine or doesn't need to be fixed. Wish more mechanics were like Craig's...but they're not.

Craig or the Craig's have been serving my cars for years. They are highly recommend. When it was time for replacing belts, pumps on my 15 year old Honda,
Craig's is where the work was complete. Fair pricing. Reliable, and straight communication.

Craig's was recommended to me by Walt and Rick from Commercial Tire , now Rolling Stock.

Craig's replaced all four brake pads and the front two rotors in the same day. Allowed me to drop my car off super early and pick up during my lunch break. When they told they couldn't fix my side view mirror without ordering a new part, they actually went ahead and ordered it for me and replaced it the next week when the part came in! Nice to have a shop so close and convenient to my schedule.

The most honest mechanic I've ever dealt with. He repaired my client's vehicle whose car broke down in SF. Craig's Auto had the cheapest price out of everyone in town. My client was from the Central Valley and Craig's Auto was charging less than any mechanic in the central valley.

Long story short, they took care of the vehicle but because they could not repair the vehicle to their standards, they charged my client nothing for fixing it. Who does that these days!

These are good hearted people and I would recommend them any day of the week. Thanks again guys!

Appreciated the same day prompt service and good communication. I dropped my 20 year old pickup off in the morning for a pre-road trip check up and they shook it down and called me with updates/ information. Didn't sell me on any repairs that weren't needed; machined my brakes and had them running smoothly by the end of the day. I'm already halfway down I-5 as I'm writing this review. Thanks again.

Sorry to be the contrarian here. Although I give them a couple stars for being friendly and having a pretty shop, they completely wasted my time and didn't follow through.

They came highly recommended by a mechanic I trust. Took a couple weeks just to get an appointment to come in and have them look at the issue (a basic suspension part replacement). When I finally came in on my appointment day, they said it would be about an hour to take a look and they'd call when they were done as they had another car ahead. Fine.

I wandered the sketchy neighborhood for 90 minutes and then returned to see how things were going. Turns out they had finished but didn't bother calling, and the work they did finish they really hadn't finished and now had taken other cars ahead of me. And, they didn't even work up a price but promised to get it to me later that day. Called a few days later and asked where my quote was, and they still hadn't gotten to doing it. This is about a month after I started jumping through all the hoops for them to look at my car.

Gave up on Craig's and just brought to another mechanic that finished the entire job in a couple hours- the same amount of time I wasted sitting around Bayview as Craig's did God-knows-what with my car.

I really don't have much respect for tradespeople that don't keep their word. I was in another trade for 25 years and when someone came to us for a quote or just brought a job in to get done, we called that "business" and were grateful for the work. Maybe Craig's is operating something else out of this location, I don't understand how they keep the lights on by teasing potential customers and failing to perform the skills they advertise on their building.
