Creative Alterations

Did an alteration there and dry cleaning. I found them on Yelp and gave it a try. After they did a great job dry cleaning my cashmere sweater, I came back with another one (expensive one) and also altered the suit pants. Very satisfied! Would come back.

Joseph, there are not enough words to describe how talented and how much of an amazing man you are. I will forever be thankful to you and the services you provide at creative alterations. Your knowledge along with your sweet kind soul helped me feel so comfortable with the process. Originally, I did not even want to go wedding dress shopping to begin with. When I got my city hall dress altered I was annoyed at the entire process cause the previous person I used was rude and wanted to cut off the entire thing.

Yelpers - my dress was probably half the size that it should've been. I bought it off the rack, and fell in love with the detail. I could've ordered one my size, but honestly, I never thought it would find it.

When I tried it on on the first day on my wedding day it definitely felt surreal. The dress looked magnificent - and I was in awe! Those multiple alterations paid off for sure. The price for the amount of alterations was justifiable. By no means was it cheap, but alterations allow expensive anyways. Joseph was able to create straps with the tulle off the shoulder caps that was provided and added some of the design from the dress to the straps, it was beautiful'

Joseph was absolutely amazing. A previous shop butchered my hem and bustle. He was able to fix both and my dress came out perfect. It fit like a glove. I had three bustles and they were gorgeous. He reinforced my removable straps. My hem was seamless even though there were about 5 layers of tulle. Everything was steamed to a tee on pick-up. I couldn't have asked for a better tailor. My wedding dress wouldn't have been possible without him. I have also gotten bridesmaids dresses altered by him and he knocks it out of the park every time :) He's so knowledgeable and extremely detail-oriented. You won't want to go anywhere else again.

I had a dress emergency and Joseph fixed my dress in 24hrs. I had ordered a dress with custom sizing, which was supposed to fit perfectly in arrival. The dress arrived late, it came on Tuesday and the wedding was on Thursday. I was the maid of honor, so I definitely needed the dress to look right. On top of it all, this all happened during wedding season, so Joseph was super busy. However, he fit me in and was a life saver! I don't know what I would've done without Joseph!

The journey leading up to my wedding was filled with both incredible moments and heart-wrenching challenges. My mom battled cancer three times before, and when it returned with a vengeance, we knew that having her with us on our wedding day was the most important thing in the world. We had just two weeks to throw together a wedding, and our community rallied around us like never before.

I was lucky to find a wedding dress quickly, but it needed significant alterations. That's when Joseph at Creative Alterations was recommended to us. Joseph is amazing! I purchased my dress as La Soie and brought in my wedding dress for alterations a few months prior to my wedding dress and Joseph took his time evaluation every area of the dress that needed alterations. My dress fit like a glove on my wedding dress. He is very professional, very knowledgeable and very reliable.

I had a destination wedding and Joseph went out of his way to pack up my dress as safe as possible for traveling. Unpacking and hanging my dress was a breeze now

I will forever scream from every mountain top that nobody can touch my dresses except for Joseph. I have used him for all of my prom dresses growing up and it was finally time to use his specialties for my wedding dress! Again, I do not trust anybody else except him. His attention to detail and desire to make your dress as perfect as possible is just unmatched. He cares about the quality of his work and it shows! Wonderful job on two dresses I had brought in for my sister's wedding. Both of my potential dresses needed to be hemmed in length and one of them needed minor strap re-adjustments.

I had brought them in at two separate times which was not a problem for them. The second dress I had added on a steam which totaled to about $80 - it was more pricey b/c of the press n' steam add-on.

Joseph is very professional and he and his team gets the job done well. There are two changing areas and one platform where you'll stand in front of the mirror in. I really liked seeing what the process was for altering hem lengths - he had this tool that would pump what I believe were chalk markings onto the garment and had you turn every direction until you had spun around back to where the markings began.

Be sure to bring your own hanger and garment bag. I never had my own garment bag and was able to request one when I went to pick my dress back up (plastic). Joseph allows you to select your pick-up date and determines whether or not he'll be able to have it ready by then. I've never had a problem with the date / times provided and he's always so accommodating.

Joseph was exceptional!!! I was quoted $1700 by my wedding dress designer to alter my wedding & rehearsal dress. Joseph altered both dresses (1 needing significant changes), and steamed both dresses and my veil for less than $650, saving me over $1K!! Joseph really knows what he's doing- he's honest and straightforward about what changes are realistic and how it'll influence the structure of the garment. He's flexible, detail-oriented, reliable and truly an expert in his craft. He cares a lot about the success of his clients too, going as far as placing my dresses in my very-packed car to ensure they don't get wrinkled on our drive up to Tahoe for the wedding.

I felt so confident and beautiful in my wedding dress and rehearsal dress weekend-of and am so thankful for Joseph for that!
