This review is for the parking lot valet.
The staff attendant are courteous and patience with us. Having four kids exiting the car isn't always fast as we hoped to. The attendant never once rushed us.
Wish the price for parking isn't so steep . It is what it is , Driving into downtown .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 16, 2021
A pretty nice place to stop at if you need a place to chill. There are a lot of seats with tables and a roof overhead to keep you dry if it's raining. This is still an outdoor center though so it gets pretty cold. The first floor has outdoor heaters that we can thrn on ourselves (I think? I just saw someone do it and did it too lol). There are bathrooms on the 2nd floor but it does require a code which I'm sure you can get from the employees. I got lucky and got it in as someone was ckming out. Most places are closed so a lot of emptg lots, but it's a quick walk around if you want to see what is actually available. I saw one security gaurd walking around so that's always good. Not too crowded yet not empty either. Watch your step on the stairs, I remember the first going down from street level being only like an inch tall. Overall, nothing special but I'll def keep this place in the books for meeting up with people during lunch breaks.

3.5 stars. All the restaurants on the 3rd floor are pretty delicious and reasonably priced. Nice place to have lunch on a weekday afternoon. Love the dome glass design at Crocker Galleria! I have not visited any of the non food stores here so can't comment on those. Why not a higher rating? Because all the shops here close way too early. It's more ideal for the weekday mid morning/afternoon people or if you work near the area. People stay less than an hour here. Go to Union Square to finish the rest of your shopping!

Disappointed because there was no business opened and no one at the center. Nice Christmas decorations though...

I've been to Crocker Galleria a few times over the years to grab lunch or visit the farmers market. (I used to go all the time with a girlfriend who loved going to the farmers market.) I stopped by this last time with a coworker on Thursday, February 9th around 12:30pm. Decided to go to Giorgio's Pizza to celebrate national pizza pie day. I grabbed two slices.
In the past, I've gone to Anderson Bakery to get a sandwich and Chaat Cafe Express to grab some chicken tikka masala, naan, and samosas. I also hear they have a nice rooftop. It'd be great to grab some food and head up to eat lunch on a sunny day. The galleria is a little confusing in it's layout as it's about three floors, but the staircases seem scattered around the building. (We got a little confused trying to get back down to the main floor.) Most of the food options are on the top floor.
Decent sized shopping center. Not as big as other centers, but at least it's close to work as it's in the financial district.Helpful 28Thanks 0Love this 27Oh no 0 - Mar 1, 2019
This place suffers from the same malaise afflicting all tourist traps. They're so satisfied with the guaranteed fidi traffic that with a few exceptions no business here tries to improve. And that is even more true for the landlords - this place forever seems to be 60% occupied. Sure location is great, but the establishment is meh.

Occasionally, my sisters and I would walk from SF Chinatown to the Montgomery BART station. We always manage to stop here for a breather, sit and relax my tired, aching left knee and feet. Such was the occasion last year on Black Friday in the afternoon that we made our "pit stop" as one can tell by the photo that I had taken - 3:43 PM.
The day after Thanksgiving, and there weren't too many shops opened; it was very quiet. This place was about empty - hardly anybody there. None of the eateries were even opened to purchase a sammie, snack, coffee, tea and/or water. I believe there were only two to three stores that were opened.
Being that the Galleria is in the FiDi area, and there aren't too many businesses and corporations open on weekends, this is a nice place to "just chill" around the holiday season/weekends if one does not want to be around large crowds and the fast-paced ongoings around Union Square and Market/Powell Streets shopping area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 9, 2014
This is a real gem of a place tucked away by downtown/FiDi area. Even though it's small, there's quite a lot going on here. During my daily lunch stroll, I was walking up Post St. and noticed the farmer's market here -- lots of fresh veggies, fruits, pastries, breads, etc. for sale (and for sampling!). Booths with crafts and cacti/succulents for sale were also at the farmer's market. And there are lots of small boutiques on the second floor if you want to do some local shopping.
I will probably come back to grab lunch from one of the many restaurants here (three stories filled with delicious choices!). There are also a few bakeries that offer cupcakes, crepes, pastries, and coffee if you just want an afternoon pick-me-up. When the weather turns nicer, I must eat lunch or relax upstairs on the roof garden. There weren't many tables but plentiful benches were available and it wasn't crowded at all.
I'll be back for you, Crocker Galleria!
Please note:
- Mobile app says if you check-in via Yelp you can get a free farmer's market tote from Green Zebra printing. However, I found out they moved so I'm not sure if that's still available.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 73410382545Feb 27, 2015
Crocker is certainly one of the best malls around. I've found myself coming here from time to time lately and don't recall this place being densely crowded. One of the features bringing me in will be the skylight roof and the roof garden.
Overall, this is a very nice spot to get to something to eat, drink and relax. The rooftop garden is a nice spot to be at or enjoy your meal on a sunny day.
**There is a Farmer's Market here on Thursday (11 am - 3 pm). Then from June - September, they are also here on Tuesday.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
