Crunch Fitness - Walnut Creek

Love love love this gym! I've been going here for over a year, and it's the best gym I've ever gone too. The staff is awesome. The machines are new. It's alwayssss clean.
The girls that work AM durning the week at kids club are the best they are so sweet with my son, and the other children. Whenever I would peek in to check on my son, they were always interacting with the kids there. Watching the movie with them, printing pictures for them to color etc. They weren't just sitting at the computer disengaged.

I signed up with Nick who is awesome! He showed me around the gym and gave me a schedule of the classes they offered. I felt like I had a good feel for the gym after I finished the tour with him. He was very informative without being pushy. Sometimes when you go on these gym tours, you feel like you can't get away without signing up. But at crunch this was not the case. Even though I had a free 3 day pass, I signed up for a membership the first day. This is an excellent gym all around. There aren't any other gyms close by that compare. Highly recommend!

I figured this place would be another typical gym a la 24hr, but it wasn't. I was pleasantly surprised on how clean the gym is. Michael was super helpful and showed me around the gym. All the equipment worked AND the place is deceivingly big. Glad I came and excited to get my next work out in!

I tried Crunch Fitness on a guest pass while the other local gym I belonged to was undergoing weeks long renovations. During my walkthrough, the staff showed me the gym grounds and all of the amenities that were included in a membership. Additionally, they were very friendly and wanted to get to know me. I was completely wowed by how clean the facility was and the amenities I would receive that weren't included at the other gym. Services like men's and women's sauna/steam rooms, towel service, SANITIZING WIPES for equipment, available parking, and upgraded equipment just to name a few. I was very happy with my visit, so much that I raved about Crunch when I got home that evening and my husband joined with me! I'm very happy with my membership, thanks to the staff who keep this place in pristine!

I joined Crunch 2 months ago. I wish I had joined them back with they originally opened- but at least I'm here now. Everyone, both members and crew, are very welcoming and encouraging.
They have the most amazing classes here. Bungee, anti- gravity yoga, red light pole dancing, TRX, Myobility, just to name a few of my favorites
The instructors here are amazing, great energy.
The gym is very clean, modern.
Plenty of parking upstairs
Great wet and dry saunas in the locker rooms to relax in after classes.
Plus, they aren't pushy about joining.
They offer a 3 day guest pass to try it out and see if the gym is a good fit for you
If you like spin, they have a ton of classes, if there isn't a class going when you are there, you can take a virtual class
Love the crunch app- easy to book classes, and check updates on class schedules

Great gym. The gym is clean, including locker rooms and showers. I see the janitor cleaning every day. It's not too crowded during peak times. The showers have good products. I can feel that the equipment has quality when working out.

Rudest members ever experienced in a gym! I have been in gyms since I was in my early twenties. This gym has the most arrogant and obnoxious people working out at this location. It may be the area- east bay- but it makes for an uncomfortable environment!

The location is close to my house, which is convenient, but I've experienced being harassed by a member, dealt w members hoarding equipment, reading emails and texting for extended periods of time, not working out on the piece of equipment they have used as a personal seat, encountered a woman keeping an ab ball - which the gym has very few, while she was not using it- keeping it next to her while she worked out on the cardio equipment (45 minutes). That way no one else could use it- and she didn't have to share it or wait her turn to use it.

Had a rude guy come up to me and try to tell me how to workout- then insult me, as he was unskilled, not a trainer and doing things that were unconventional and momentum based rather than using his muscles. No thanks buddy!

And then having to navigate around a lunch time class being held in the middle of the gym- not in a group activity room- with rude members barking at people trying to get from one part of the gym to the other- while they spill out of the designated area (the TRX floor) making it difficult to get to equipment- ab balls, rollers, stretching bands, etc. and get through the obstacle course they create, as well as an instructor yelling orders to the class - not a great environment for a stress free, enjoyable workout.

Everyone pays their dues- why should one group have priority over other people? Not a good look Crunch members! The staff is nice, the gym is clean- women's bathroom/ locker room gets messy, pee on seats and floor, unflushed toilets w waste in them- sinks get filthy w hair, soap scum and water everywhere- because obviously snobby women w money think they should have others pick up after them, however the cleaning staff is outstanding. They work hard to accommodate these filthy women. Can't speak for the guys' locker room.

Crunch has a quote on the wall about a non judgmental, friendly environment-. But the membership does not allow that to be the case. Sadly there probably is nothing that staff can do- guess you put up w rude, self centered people or go somewhere else. I've been a member since pre- sales and have noticed in the past few years the membership is just getting worse and there are more rude, entitled people who go there.- it is too bad the place is such an unfriendly, unwelcoming gym full of snotty people who stand around thinking they are better than others and drinking their "calorie loaded lattes" from Starbucks.

I've been using crunch on n off since 2017. I've mostly used the classes but the equipment is great too but the thing that's kept me coming back is the instructors here. They are amazing always consistent very knowledgeable and hands on. I've tried other places for yoga and Pilates but quickly realized most places had inconsistent instructors that left me feeling like I could have taught the class. So I'm back a crunch again. Love this place . Also very clean.

It has been over a few months since I started seeing Pamela to work on my fitness goals. I love working with her because she is someone who is a professional and understands exactly what you want to get out of your workouts, but is also someone who is very easy to talk to like a friend. While we are working out she is very encouraging and motivating and understands exactly how much I should be pushing myself in order to get the most out of my workouts.

leave it to California and large corporations to rob you blind. Traveling this week and wanted to stop by for a quick workout at the local Crunch. Drove here only to be told we are not allowed to workout here because we aren't "signature members" it's a normal crunch with all the same amenities and machines yet because its here in the armpit of America, you have to pay $103 a month to use this facility that's slightly better than planet fitness. very disappointing and I will be cancelling my membership as soon as I get home.

joined Crunch a couple weeks ago. Price was right, facility is great, there are tons of different equipment, weights and cardio machines. place is always clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. haven't tried the classes yet but there are alot of them and a bunch of personal trainers around. would def recommend
