I have been going to Cruise automotive repair for a while. Every time I need a service repair I get excellent service a family oriented business very pleasant timely repairs and good prices. I intend to continue for them to be my auto repair go to. I also brought a friend with me because I trust Mr. Cruz so much and his wife, I recommend highly you going to this auto repair place big on customer service very friendly and professional repair work

Be very careful with this place and do your research ahead of time.

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotations. I thought it was a little overpriced but I was open. I was told that it needed a few other services, including replacing 2 tires. For the services that my car "needed" I was given a quote of $4,000 (oil change, tire rotation, clean intake valves, replace the two back tires, replace front brakes, and replace transmission fluid).

When I asked the guy who was assisting me what were the most urgent issues, he avoided answering my question directly and kept on trying to explain how it all was necessary.

I ended up getting the oil change, tire rotations and one other thing that can't recall.

The services that I didn't get were still about $3,000, I share this because this is where I felt like I was taken advantage of and lied to. I did tons of research, called various places to get quotes for the services I still had pending... everywhere else I called was a lot less than what this place quoted me. I ended paying $1200 for the needed services.

Also, for the 2 tires he had told me I had to replace asap for my safety, I went to two tire shops and they both told me the it was only one tire that needed to be replace and that it could last at least 2 more months.

Do your research, don't commit to getting the services done here.

Couple other things to keep in mind: they will send a $20 if you have them a 5 star review ($20 isn't worth lying or going back). Also, they kept on contacting me after to come back and take care of the other services.

System assessment and service on findings completed as estimated at a price comparable to the area. All work warranted.

I wasted a frustrating 10 minutes on the phone with someone at Cruz Auto Repair who had no knowledge of auto repairs whatsoever. Despite my efforts, I discovered they couldn't even provide a basic quote for a brake job over the phone. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Cruz Auto Repair--they are utterly incompetent.

Money hungry, greedy and over priced. Had something done to my car and they over charged me. I was stupid and it's my fault for trusting these people. I also read on the reviews a few theiy did the same too.

Owner Augustine Cruz is an amazing and caring man, for the second time he took his time and got the the job done on my Mercedes S550, EhgyptRhae is running like a 2023 He is God sent Truly,
Also a Beautiful wife and Children these people treat me like a Family member which is very rare these days.

I'm giving 5 stars but Cruz Auto deserves 1000 Stars

This place has gone downhill in 2024 since previous service visit here a year & half ago. As Liliana C. says, be very careful to ask for an estimate and review it before authorizing any work. I took my vehicle in with a known issue and asked for a diagnosis and estimate as well to identify and estimate costs to address any other deficiences. I also was presented with a long list of issues and a total estimate around $4000. Multiple of the suggested and expensive repairs were determined unnecessary by a second, more-reputable shop. The repairs that were justifiable albeit not critically urgent were unreasonably expensive. Just one example: Cruz recommended replacing 8 spark plugs at a cost of $162 for plugs and $144 labor (1 hr). $306 total before tax. The same spark plugs cost $36 at the auto parts store! Changing all spark plugs takes 20 minutes, not an hour. It's reasonable to expect parts to be marked up 20-35% by a shop but not 300%. There were no other customer vehicles at Cruz at the time. Draw your own conclusions.

I originally was looking for a shop to perform an A/c service and Cruz Auto Repair performed an in-depth engine diagnosis with an oil change service with pictures confirming engine components in need of replacement as well as suspension parts that were worn out which I agreed and appreciated the attention to detail, my vehicle was kept safe during the service that took some days due to my vehicle having some age, none the less I received txt updates and part arrival and completion of the repair, pricing was fair even when requested repairs to be added. I will return for future projects ensuring my vehicle is running in tip-top shape even with its age and mileage.

They did an excellent job with custom exhaust & I definitely recommend them for muffler services as well. They got me in & out same day with quality welds & service.

My car had a check engine. I took it for a diagnose. They found out wire was cut. They also did and inspection all around the car and took picture of what needed to be repair in most important and what can wait. Honest and great customer service. I'm happy with my repair. I would've definitely bring my car again for repairs.
