I didn't have any work done on my car but I took it in for a quote and the guy who gave me the quote gave a huge song and dance about how much work it was. It was for a small scrape on the back panel of my car. I waited outside the shop. He came out three times to look at it he damage. 15 minutes later he came out with a ridiculous quote. I do drive a very nice car, and I assumed because I'm a woman with a nice car, he thought I was rich and a bimbo, who got the car out of a divorce. I went elsewhere and got a quote right away for less than half the price. This guy was inhaling wayyyyyyy too many fumes or it was greed. I called back to let him know, he said it was industry standard. Um no I don't think so.Shop around.

First of all I have nothing but amazing things to say about these guys. I was super happy with the entire process from start to finish and my car looks great.

I want to give a glowing review for Nicole who works at reception. (I don't know her job title) Nicole remained super calm and kind while I dealt with a rather frustrating situation with my car. (Tip- always go through insurance) I did not have the best attitude when I found out my car repair was not paid for ahead of time, by a third party. Nicole was incredibly understanding while we sorted things out. She deserves a raise!!! The rest of the crew were fantastic as well. Even washed my car for me:)

An absolutely fantastic experience with this very professional shop. Very polite and quick service. I had a frustrating experience with my insurance company but that was certainly superseded by the professionalism of CB's. Thank you!

      Updated review

Heaven help you if you have reason to return to CB's Autotech Collision in Victoria BC after they work on your vehicle, because in no way, shape, or form is CB's interested in addressing and making right anything they may have botched. What they are interested in is pointing the finger elsewhere and intimating that you were just waiting for the day when your car would fall victim to a hit and run accident so you could get some unsuspecting repair shop on the hook for a pre-existing electrical issue.

The body work repair CB's did on the side swipe damage to my car was satisfactory; but in replacing the electric window, door, tail-light assembly, and "playing with the fuses" (their words), my car suddenly experienced a host of problems including instrument panel malfunction and auto lighting failure. I returned twice to CB's; the first time they grudgingly let me leave the car for a few hours and said they fixed a loose wire. Still, various problems continued. On my second return visit I wasn't even permitted to leave the car; instead, I was lectured that they did nothing wrong, that they didn't know what was wrong, and that one had to expect a 10+ year old car to have issues. I found two of the men in CB's administration to be especially dismissive of me and superiorly protective of their assertion that their crew did nothing to cause the problems my car experienced following their work on it. I was told to take the car elsewhere to have the problem diagnosed and they could recommend the shops, because (they said) by no means should I go to the dealer I bought the car from new and be charged exorbitant hourly rates.

Subsequently I did go elsewhere, of my choosing, and discovered that, in "playing with the fuses" (CB's words), they had neglected to replace one. The lack of that fuse caused an open circuit and brought on all the ensuing issues. A simple fuse! After a replacement fuse was inserted, the warning pings stopped, the instrument panel cluster illuminated fully and all the gauges worked just as they had done the day I first took the car into CB's. I paid for the diagnosis and fix out of pocket instead of returning to CB's because I would rather stick needles in my eyes than enter that establishment again.

It was a long and frustrating journey to get my car back to the way it was before the accident, a journey I hope the reader won't have to experience. CB's is okay until you have a problem with their work, and then heaven help you - because CB's won't!
