Awny is a TOTAL asset to this store! :). He called us several days ahead of the scheduled appointment to confirm that he would be arriving. He was punctual, super knowledgeable, friendly, and competent to service our gas fireplace insert that we had purchased many years ago at this location. We decided to purchase a remote control from him that he had on his service truck and we are so happy that we did. He cleaned, vacuumed and serviced the whole unit and it works and looks better than ever now! We are so grateful to him for coming out to our home. Custom Fireside owners, Awny is a fantastic employee! He represents you business "over the top" well and deserves 100 stars!! Don't ever lose him....He is amazing!! Thank you so much, Awny! :):)

I know winter must be a busy time for Custom Fireplace. Tis the season to enjoy our fireplace--- when it's working. Something suddenly went wrong-- my gas flames diminished! At the end of December 2021 I called for my service appointment scheduled two weeks out. During this busy season, I was able to get one of their last Saturday service appointments. Mike gave me a courtesy phone call the day before my scheduled appointment with a courtesy 2-hour window timeframe. Mike was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He explained what was wrong and fixed gas flame problem. He was neat and clean.

We love our fireplace! We are so happy the gas flames are working and incredibly beautiful once again!

We have an old house with a wood burning fireplace. We used to have fires every night for years and really loved them, but we finally stopped as wood is expensive and it became such a hassle. We went to Custom Fireside and found a beautiful gas insert fireplace. We use it every night, and it keeps the family room nice and toasty. They have a huge selection, so anyone can find what they're looking for...

We had a gas insert that died at Christmas time, shorty after that we bought a new Harman pellet stove, the folks at Custom Fireside were very responsive and reliable, they kept the appointments with now extra waiting.
They have continued the excellent customer service months after the sale. Thank you so much for kindness and understanding.

Very pleased with our "fire and ice" fireplace conversion. They were very responsive and very reasonably priced. They have a great showroom to figure out what you want. They got us a quote right on the spot. Sent someone out to measure and two weeks later Mike came out, removed the old gas pipe and put the new setup in in less than two hours.

Awny, our technician was so professional, thorough and helpful. He showed us features on our Kozy Heat fireplace we didn't even know about, which greatly improved its effectiveness and efficiency. And his product knowledge is amazing. Thanks, Awny for a great job!

I have been calling for four weeks. I purchased the most beautiful insert from Custom Fireside and the instillation process went great. I had a cleaning a few yrs ago that also was perfect. This time I need service and I believe I have left over 10 messages. Not one return call. I realize it is a busy time, but there is no excuse for not returning calls.
I am very disappointed.

Custom Fireside has the best selection of anything related to fireplaces! We had our new gas fireplace insert installed last week and love it! The install process was super easy, the installers were friendly, thorough and cleaned up after themselves.

I was wanting a fireplace insert in time for Christmas and Custom Fireside helped me pick quality unit that was in stock. I was able to pick it up the next day and was available for both questions and to help me recognize i didn't receive one of my boxes in the "kit" and without question had the missing component i needed same day. Their regular contractors were not available for 6-7 weeks so i went my own route (Hired Shah from Radiant Heating and Plumbing). Project started on Monday and I'm fully enjoying my amazing new fireplace on Saturday. Thanks Custom Fireside

Store has a great variety of electric and gas fireplace inserts. Also, their customer service was excellent. Salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The store on Auburn Blvd. sold us a wood burning fireplace and a pad totalling over $5,000. We ordered it all in the beginning of November 2022. We have called every week or two to get an eta. Everything was in except the padding.

We called beginning at the end of November and they told us the pad hadn't been made yet and we may have it by the end of January. We cancelled the pad and will have it made.

We will never do business with them again. Unbelievable!!
