      Another FANTASTIC experience at D&J Auto Service in San Bruno, CA. Not only is the work top notch every time, but the owner Daniel is absolutely committed to keeping the costs down and charging as little as possible for the SUPERB work they do. Extremely reliable, trustworthy, and FAST. Got my 2000 Mazda Protege completely serviced and new back brakes for $228.00!! Thanks to Dave Cresta and the San Bruno firefighters/paramedics for the GREAT recommendation

      I've never left an auto mechanic in such good spirits. Excellent customer service, bargain prices, and quality work in good time. When my car needs repairs again I will happily return to D&J without shopping around.

      I came in the first time to request a quote and was impressed by the low price and their unhesitating willingness to explain the repair process. To be specific, my 2006 Ford Escape had a cracked windshield wiper fluid reservoir and a loose hand brake. I asked to bring in a generic replacement reservoir ordered from the internet and they happily obliged, noting that they only accept generic parts that don't affect driver safety. Good! Was quoted $80 to install the reservoir and $50 to adjust the hand brake, and that's exactly what they charged me when I brought the vehicle in 5 days later. Turns out they also inspected my brakes (all good) and rotated my tires at no charge. Bonus! The repairs were made in two hours and I'm very pleased with the results.

      This is in response to the business owner accusing me of "wanting a discount or free service"

      I was not asking for a discount OR service.

      My ACDelco battery that I bought from D&J died after a year.

      The battery has a 30 month replacement warranty from ACDelco.

      I was asking for the receipt for the battery so I can have ACDelco or GM do a warranty replacement myself. I was going to do all of this myself.

      Attached a photo of the battery that was giving low voltage.

      As you can see from my previous post, I posted the battery issue on June 14th, 2024 for a battery that has a giant "30 MONTHS" on it.

      Pretty unbelievable response.

      Not sure why I'm getting a response 7 months later...if we want to talk about "attention" I can post the email chain between you, me and the BAR (business of automotive repair ), which is a government agency that makes sure business don't take advantage of consumers, and that is exactly what happened here. That will show you, ALL the items you failed doing from the beginning. Only after me contacting them did you finally start working on my vehicle. Additionally I will be seeing you in court for this whole situation, so anything else you would like to say to me-you can as I am quite sure you have my cell phone number.

      You are wrong 100%. It was not fraud post. I should and could have sued you for the terrible defective part you installed. I still can as you never refunded nearly enough $ to me.

      Under new management but they still offer the same high quality service at reasonable rates. It's not easy to find a trustworthy auto mechanic service, but here is one right here.

      Easily one of the biggest scams I've gone through. I have Carmax extended warranty. I asked for a transmission repaid window motor and air bag sensor. They fixed my transmission problem, and took 4 months to get a motor for my window and claim Hyundai isn't replying. Finally got my motor and never ever got back to me about my sensor . I called multiple times from multiple numbers and they replied to all numbers except mine . Til this very day I never got that sensor replaced and apparently to Carmax, once they pay the shop they can't take it back . D&J auto body must know that . Cause guess what Carmax says? I have to take this to small claims . Damn scam . Never going back again .

      10/10 the worst shop and u professional and scam. If I can give negative star reviews I would.

      STAY AWAY...DISCLAIMER I USED THIS SHOP OUT OF NECESSITY OF NEEDING IT TO GET DONE ASAP...Used to be very upfront and fair pricing. Was given multiple quotes for rear brakes. Mechanic stated rear rotors could be resurfaced. When I asked for a small discount on the price due to choosing to put new rotors and not needing the time to resurface. Another person maybe an owner? Came and said they never resurface rotors right after I had just received a quote to do the job with resurfaced rotors???? clearly, someone is lying. I'm choosing to have it done because I don't have time to go around and get prices and quotes from other places. Absolutely horrible communication from owners felt like I was being chastised for asking for a discount. Clearly, it would take a lot less time to put on new rotors than resurface the old rotors.
