D Garcia's Landscaping

I highly recommend Dario Garcia Landscaping. They do my lawn maintenance and snow removal. They have installed my sod and pavers. I have always found the gentlemen that work at Dario Garcia Landscaping to be professional and reliable.

I hired Garcia's Landscaping to build a retaining wall where an old retaining wall was failing. Garcia's understood what we were trying to do and provided a competitive quote. Their workers were very hardworking and courteous. They did a fantastic job and built a very solid wall and attended to every detail. When they were done, the entire area was cleaned up with a solid new retaining wall and looked better than we've ever seen that area.

We were very pleased to have hired Garcia's Landscaping and would absolutely work with them again. Highly recommended!

The marker of any review IMO is would you hire this contractor again after the project? Wholeheartedly yes.

We had them do a full landscape job on our small lot - build a deck, a patio enclosure in the front, extend the sides of the driveway with new concrete, demolish a concrete pad, plant and irrigate in the front, install a French drain along the perimeter to solve our flooding issues, install pavers and river rock on the sides of the house, and build good neighbor fences on two sides of the property. I'm so happy with how the work turned out, especially for the price.

The only nit I have with working with them is you have to keep a close eye on the project and make sure you give feedback immediately if it's not to the specs you wanted/discussed. That doesn't bother me much as I've found it's necessary with most contractors unless you just don't care about the details. A few small details were missed in the end - like a few screws not installed, the cuts in the deck for the railing aren't perfect, the stairs down from the deck should have been 6 inch wider given where the grass ends - little small details like that. But honestly nothing that detracts from how beautiful the yard looks now and how happy we are with the work.

Also, nice people which helps during a big project! And they follow through - when we saw an issue with the fencing a few weeks after the project wrapped they came out and fixed it.

Can I just say how grateful we are that Dago and his crew continue to tolerate us through multiple projects? We started with big trash collecting juniper shrubs that had an oddly strong odor. His crew quickly removed them. Unfortunately my husband and I are the opposite of a green thumb and couldn't decide on a solution with curb appeal that met our requirements for very, VERY low maintenance. After a year of indecision, we finally moved forward and could not be more thrilled! They completely changed the look of our home.

I just spent a few minutes looking through all of my reviews and all of Dago's so I could find my last review and update it - and was shocked to discover that despite over a decade of superior service that Dago and his team have given us, I never reviewed him on Yelp. This review is LONG overdue.

As I said, Dago has been our gardening contractor for many, many years. His team has always provided excellent, timely, professional service. His gardeners have kept our gardens and lawns looking beautiful year round. They've always been accommodating for any special requests, and have also been proactive about letting me know when they discover any issues outside of the gardening realm that might need my urgent attention.

Most recently, the senior gardener on his team notified us of a drainage issue that could have damaged our foundation, had it not been brought to our attention. Dago himself found a drainage and construction professional who was able to repair the damaged underground drainpipe at an extremely competitive cost. At the same time, Dago pointed out the clogged downspouts that had likely caused the flooding which had been a major cause of the drainage issue.

Over the years, Dago and his team have also helped us with fence and gate repair and other household repair issues over the years. In the rare instances where he and his team could not do the work, he was always happy to send someone who could.

I recommend Dago and his team full-heartedly and without hesitation.

Dago's crew has done so much over the years to make our yard gorgeous!

They've installed our lighting, plants, mulch and stone and patio pavers (& the concrete and rebar below it) and build wood stairs into the landscape too.

They've trimmed back our aloe and you can't even tell it's been so reduced (unless you saw it before). They've installed 3 huge outdoor pieces of art too.

Perfection! They are helpful, clean and fast. They show up when they say they will...takes a while to get on the schedule, so plan ahead. They aren't cheap but are reasonable and I'm willing to pay for their skills and efficiency.

Working with Dago was super easy! I gave him some general ideas and goals for my yard and he nailed it! I wanted a long planter, fences, trellises, a gate, and a dog friendly play area. Even though we had to unexpectedly break concrete, it all went smoothly and they always cleaned up after. Thanks for the work! I would definitely use them again if needed.

I could not recommend Dago and his crew enough 10 out of 5 stars! He took the time to understand our needs and executed the work better than we could have imagined.

We installed a good custom neighboring fence from our neighbors and a fabulous custom gated fence to our side yard. The fences also included very intricate trellis details. Amazing job!

Also did a pathway with flagstones leading to our backdoor as well as a multi tiered garden wall. So good!!! This work was flawlessly executed by a hardworking, nice and talented team. These guys work QUICK but attention to detail is like no other.

We will be working with them in the future for our external home needs. Thank you Dago, Gabriel and team for being fantastic partners. Photos included!

We had D. Garcia's Landscaping replace a weedy, loose and uneven brick walkway from the sidewalk to our back yard with very attractive pavers. We are very pleased with the work they have done. The crew was competent, easy to deal with and worked hard not to inconvenience us during the construction. The man in charge of installing the pavers is a true artist.

We would enthusiastically use D. Garcia's Landscaping for other projects.

Back in July, Dago and his fantastic crew replaced an extremely degraded pathway that was in a tricky spot (on very steep slope, lots of erosion, irrigation pipes running just under the pathway, etc). They worked quickly and cleanly and the result is beautiful and so much safer for anyone walking up to the house.

I waited until the first big rains to see how well the new pathway would stand up to the water erosion problems that destroyed the last one, and I'm happy to report that it's holding up like a champ!

The D. Garcia office team was responsive and very professional. Dago really listened to what we wanted and provided samples of the stones that he could use for the walkway so we could decide what would work best for our yard.
