I don't know how it's possible to fall in love with appliances sales guy but we did

We had a nice functional kitchen that needed some love and consider the house market right now, we agreed to stay in the house for years to come
We decided to upgrade the kitchen, save some money with ikea cabinets and invest in top end appliances.

After going to 3 other places that sale Sub-zero and wolf( right now , this is the best appliances you can buy that have great service, amazing performance and looks really really good) we got to David appliances inc in Redwood city.
Parking was not an easy thing but we found the back parking lot of the store, very convenient.
This is where Jared( the best guy ever) come to the picture.

Jared was there with another client and asked us kindly if we can wait for few minutes and offer us to look around in the store.

The store was nice, good energy and easy to Cruze around, lots of options but still don't make you feel lost
Feels like family own business.

Jared came a join us, give us a nice tour, talk about this and that and was professional and friendly, know his stuff and was open to any idea or questions we had.
We even talk about pricing and budget and he had really good ideas about what to buy and where we can save.
But this is not why we like the guy.

Beside the fact that his wife was pregnant in a very late stage, he answer almost immediately to the 10 millions email we send , I have to say we are not the easiest client out there, we want to understand what we buy and consider all options. To go with 10 k fridge is not something we do every day and that's just the fridge
What about the oven and the cook top and the dishwasher with speed and lights and controllers and what ever
There were no pressure what so ever from Jared side, he wanted to help us and try to understand what we were Looking for.

David appliances store is nice,The people we met were special in their own way
The grandson of the owner (david)that had great communication skills, friendly and smart
The older guy( don't remember his name) that run around with calculator and ask math questions and remind me of Kramer from Seinfeld
We were lucky to meet most of them

This is the thing,if you are going to buy appliances and you decided to go with high end, all the dealers will give you exactly the same price( they have to) so what different does it make where to buy it?

For us it was the service, the honesty, feeling like they care about us not just because we are customers that might buy something

Because Jared make us feel special

We became loyal customers that already buy more appliances from them and more then that

Chris Chambers really came through when we realized that an appliance that we ordered looked really out of place in the space once it was installed. He provided a great alternative immediately (fits perfectly) and got it switched out almost instantly. We also had a refrigerator door that appeared to be shipped damaged from the manufacturer and he immediately requested a replacement. After much time, effort and expense on a remodel, Chris and Davies Appliance made resolving these significant cosmetic issues stress free. Kudos to Chris and team!

Davies Appliance consistently delivers 5 star customer service, they are experts on all things appliances and is our main "go to". My parents encouraged us to check out Davies Appliance when we needed a new dishwasher a few years ago. We worked with fabulous Dennis Morelli who guided us on the best replacement and we were so happy with the installation and the Bosch dishwasher! Fast forward five years and we needed a new washing machine. I emailed Dennis and he responded SO fast, provided very specific answers to my questions and set us up with the best new LG WashTower, side vent, installation and takeaway. We were also very happy with the installation company they work with, who were/are clearly experts at what they do.

We highly recommend Davies Appliance - they have a wide range of the best brands and competitive prices and really care for their customers.

Our interior designer recommended that we reach out to Cory Polk at Davies Appliance. She was absolutely on point to recommend him as he gave us top-notch/5-star customer service that you rarely see these days. He took the time to explain the features of the various brands available and answer our questions to our complete satisfaction in a very relaxed and friendly manner. We felt very comfortable ordering a complete Thermador kitchen package for our remodel and receive a nice rebate/gift with purchase special resulting in an outstanding value.

Since we knew our old gas dryer was on its last legs, we added a GE Ultrafast Combo 2-in-1 Washer Dryer to the package at an amazing deal from Cory that also resulted in nice rebate from the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) since it is an energy efficient heat pump dryer (no gas and ventless). Also, unlike the old days when you wouldn't want to leave wet laundry in the washing machine overnight, this washer dryer combo is a game changer as we can throw our laundry into the machine before going to sleep and when we wake up, the laundry is not only washed but it is dry...Amazing!

Lastly, the coordination for the delivery was superb and our requests were honored quickly and efficiently by Cory (messages and emails resolved quickly within a few hours...even on his days off) that made for a great experience (and loyal customers for life). Simply put, if you need to order any appliances, you absolutely will be pleased to work with Cory and the Davies Appliance team.

I love Davies Appliance. I am an interior designer and always refer my clients (and friends) to their showroom. Chris Chambers is super knowledgeable, helpful and honest with his suggestions. I personally just went to Davies Appliance to purchase my washer/dryer and I could not be more pleased with how easy the entire process was from start to finish. And a special shout out to the delivery team. They were ontime, friendly and helpful. In closing, I have to say that it is so nice dealing with a company who's entire team wants the best for their customers. This is a huge weight off my shoulders. Appliance purchasing is no small task. Knowing you're dealing with people who have your back -even if something should go sideways, is priceless.

Davies is simply the worst. They screwed up installation of our refrigerator, freezer, drink cooler, and dishwasher. Please have a look at these photos so you can see how their crack team of installers defaced our new custom cabinets when installing our refrigerator/freezer. They were a nightmare to communicate with regarding these issues and many issues remain unresolved. Buying from Davies was the biggest mistake we made when renovating our kitchen. Stay away.

We had a perfect experience with Davies Appliance and I highly recommend them!

We previously purchased a 48" built-in refrigerator at another retailer and had a 5-month saga. Ultimately that retailer was not competent and could not install the fridge, so we had to cancel that order.

We then went to Davies and they sourced the same fridge at the same price and had it fully installed in just 3 weeks. The installer, Diversified Installations, was fantastic. They did exactly what was needed on time and with no issues.

I only wish I'd come to Davies Appliance first!

We went here looking to check out some appliances they actually had in the shop, such a rarity these days when literally every damn thing you must order online. These guys carry a huge inventory of stuff on the floor, which we got to get a tactile visceral feel for, and thank god, otherwise I never would have known that no matter how much I loved a specific model of subzero fridge, there was no freaking way I was gonna be able to open that beast of a door, ditto for the Viking and Thermador, and when we got to learn that these insane companies are doing away Wirth the external water and ice dispenser. We got the absolute BEST customer service from Jason Lei, who walked us through the mile dishwasher, Viking, explained the induction ranges, and Thermador stuff. He was endlessly patient and gracious through the more than hour we took going around the store. Love the store and even more, the service we got from Jason. Their parking is free in the lot off of El Camino and prices vary depending on what you get and lead times for everything is also different.

In shopping for new appliances for my kitchen remodel, I stopped in at Davies appliances in Redwood City. I was fortunate to have Cory Polk as my sales person whom assisting me in purchasing a new Wolf Range, speed oven, Sub zero refrigerator and dishwasher After taking the time to talk me thru the pros and cons of each manufacture.

unfortunately, the refrigerator was a lemon. Cory took the time to answer all my questions, concerns and guided me with Sub-zero. I am very happy as it was quickly replaced with a brand new one.

I highly recommend Cory and Davies Appliances. the customer experience was excellent from start to purchase to installation!!! Love my new kitchen!

Purchased a sub zero wine fridge and had installed within 24 hours - couldn't have asked for better service. Dennis was very responsive and efficient. Installation team were also very efficient and communicated with me about the job from purchase to completion. Happy customer.
