De Anza Water Conditioning

I was looking for a good water softener for a long time. Several years ago I consulted Costco and they sent a lady to my house for consulting and water testing. The lady was nice but she didn't know much about installation details the price was too high (more than what I paid now). Then I consulted another company and the guy mentioned that since my foundation was slab, he couldn't do much about my backyard irritation system and I would end up using soft water for my plants.

I finally had enough with hard water for water stains and hair loss. So I started shopping around again and read some good reviews about Kinetico. They sent Joe for a in-house consultation. Joe was very knowledgeable about water softener and he also owned a gardening company. He understood my concerns about using soft water for irrigation and proposed a perfect solution to install another irrigation pipe directly to my backyard. Considering all the unique features of Kinetico and my concern was resolved, I hired De Anza water to install a refurbished system. Joe promised that a refurbished system is pretty much the same as a new one.

Joe's people arrived one day earlier to install a new pipe to direct hard water to my backyard. They also installed a new Bluetooth watering controller and new faucet. The next day two guys came and did a nice job to install my water softener. The system looked very nice in my garage. They showed me how to by-pass the water softener to clean the water filter and also mentioned that where the system might leak. So far the system is working perfectly and I cannot be happier with how my water now feels.

I heard good things about De Anza Water from different resources and have spent a month researching different water softener solutions before making a decision to go with Kinetico/De Anza Water. All the staff (Tam, Nico, Thomas, Jennifer, Jay) I have been interacting with are very professional. It is a business that I can fully trust and relay on.

The water softener installation 2 weeks ago was not easy due to the complexity of our pipe structure. But Nico and Thomas were able to figure it out. They were very punctual, arrived 9 am and left around 3:30pm. It was a whole day installation.

We chose Q850+A200 because we have RO system already installed.

De Anza Water exceeded all my expectations. When looking for a water softener there are so many types available and it took me quite a bit of research to determine that the kinetico softener that they offer is the best product.

The softener uses only a fraction of the salt. It uses a dual line ( otherwise you would contaminate your hot water tank with hard water during every regeneration)

Niko went up and beyond all my expectations to install the system complying with all of my difficult requests:

1. Run the RO line to the fridge without puncturing through any cabinets. He had to run the line outside along the back wall then penetrate back into the house. Then I even requested a steel cover for the water line to deter rodents.

2. No copper pro press; he had to solder all the copper connections. He had to redo some of his work for this.

3. I requested for the large brine tank that lasts 6 months or longer and it was installed at no extra cost.

4. He fixed the section of drywall near the water softener as well.

Well worth the cost considering my needs.

We were suffering from white stains on our taps and the effect of hard water on our skin and hair. We tried a few low cost electric hard water treatments but those didn't really work. So we called a few water softening companies to get quotes for a water softener.
Joe from De Anza came over, gave us the rundown of what we need, did a local hardness test and suggested the Kinetico Q850 XP OD softener. We researched different softener brands and Kinetico is definitely top 2. The Kinetico quote was in the ball park of the other quotes, but included the RO filter under sink which the others did not.
So we went with De Anza and it has been more than a week now, the softened water feels so good. Dylan and Nico were our technicians for the install and they did an awesome job. An earlier estimate predicted that we may need 70 feet of new piping! But Dylan and Nico figured that they could use some of the existing but redundant piping which saved us $250 on the estimate! Kudos to honest and creative workmanship from those two and the good communication from Jennifer at De Anza throughout the process. Definitely recommend them for your water softener installs.

I want to thank De Anza Water Conditioning for their 5 star service. I had contacted them for installation of whole house water softening and RO system. The response was within couple of hours and appointment setup process was quick. Tam came on the appointment day on time, measured TDS, water hardness and explained the different types of systems and pros/cons of each and helped us select the right system.

On the day of installation, Dylan arrived on time, quickly inspected the piping and listened to our suggestion on where we wanted the system to be installed along with routing of the pipes under the lip of door to avoid lengthy piping over the wall. He was amazing and swiftly installed the whole house water softening unit and without damaging the countertop installed a sleek RO tap. 5 stars for him and his work! He then explained how the system works and care instructions.

We have enjoyed our softener and filter for about a year and it was time to replace some drinking water filters and get more salt in our softener. As always, our communication with DeAnza was pleasant, appointment quick, and service both friendly and knowledgeable. Benjamin is another excellent member of the DeAnza team to visit our home and set us up for the next year.

Great experience with De Anza Water Co. They sent out service tech Tomas R. He was very respectful and knowledgable. He diagnosed our problem and had the parts to fix it all in under 2hrs. He even tested out water softener to make sure everything was working properly. Easy to pay invoice was sent to my email. Hopefully we wont need another service in the future, but if we do, I'll be requesting Tomas.

Tyler did an excellent job. Replaced our 19 year old water filtration system with a sleek, modern much better functioning system. He not only was thoughtful enough to place all the parts of the system in a way that it does not hinder the area under my sink but cleaned up after himself. Very efficient and extremely pleasant man.
