De Anza Water Conditioning

I heard about these guys from my local water shop. i grew up using a water softener in Santa Clara, and when i moved into my place in 2015, I ordered a RAYNE Water softener that died after only 5 years, and i needed a replacement. De Anza's solution is way better, and offered better support like long warranties, better technology and better solution overall. The team is great- Ian came in and did his deal, and i never felt any pressure. Sonny was my installer- very professional, courteous, on time and an overall great guy. Definitely check them out not only for water softener, check them out for water filtration, which i did as well. If you live in Santa Clara and get water from the Water Spring water store on Homestead, thats the same taste & quality you get w/ the system (think about it- same water source, same filtration, just in a resident size.

Tyler did an awesome job with his recommendations.
We had a 20 year old Kinetico system which had reached its end of life. We have been happy with our system & the water quality so far.
A $1800 replacement of parts would not ensure that the system would work properly for any length of time.
We decided to go with a brand new Kinetico system based on Tyler's feedback on other repairs he has done.
The new system isn't that much more expensive & comes with a 10 year warranty.

I've been using De Anza Water for servicing a water softener I inherited buying a home several years ago. They always answer the phone which is so nice these days, and pleasant to deal with. Technicians are always on time and they explain things in ways you can easily understand.

Softener started leaking so I called for service. Niko came out and explained the repair work. Parts and labor is expensive on a 20 year old product, so I chose to get a new system. Installation took less than 2 hrs including the reserve osmosis system it came with the package. Niko took his time explaining how everything works and answered all my questions. I know they're not the cheapest, but service has always been great so I never really look to shop elsewhere. I would recommend De Anza and Niko to friends and family.

Wonderful customer/sales rep named Sonny, and excellent installation carried out by Benjamin.
Sonny first stopped by to assess our water filtration needs and options. He was very straightforward about the best approach for us and he didn't try to sell us any more than we needed.
Benjamin then installed the system and he was so kind, polite, and efficient. He showed me helpful tips with the system. Both Sonny and Benjamin are exceptional examples of great customer service.

Got to learn about the system from Tam and learned just how hard San Jose water is. Across many conversations about the system, pricing, and overall outlook, we decided to move forward with the installation. Tam was very patient and understanding, at no point did I feel like he was pushing to sell me a product. We scheduled for the earliest install and before I knew it Niko and Thomas arrived to work. They were quick and efficient with the install. Required very minimal supervision and did their job seamlessly. Looking forward to having some softened San Jose water. The system itself is a bit pricey, but it's a good investment. Thanks again guys!

De Anza Water exceeded all my expectations. When looking for a water softener there are so many types available and it took me quite a bit of research to determine that the kinetico softener that they offer is the best product.

The softener uses only a fraction of the salt. It uses a dual line ( otherwise you would contaminate your hot water tank with hard water during every regeneration)

Niko went up and beyond all my expectations to install the system complying with all of my difficult requests:

1. Run the RO line to the fridge without puncturing through any cabinets. He had to run the line outside along the back wall then penetrate back into the house. Then I even requested a steel cover for the water line to deter rodents.

2. No copper pro press; he had to solder all the copper connections. He had to redo some of his work for this.

3. I requested for the large brine tank that lasts 6 months or longer and it was installed at no extra cost.

4. He fixed the section of drywall near the water softener as well.

Well worth the cost considering my needs.

DeAnza did an amazing job helping with laying out different options. Joe helped with product details and discount to narrow our options. Benjamin was an outstanding technician who helped with the install. He was very swift with unit assembly, and also explained device maintenance. We had an issue with backyard water supply pipes switched, but Ben helped to work with us and resolve the repiping needed to get the softener connection in place!
