Delta Airlines

I took this airline from San Francisco international airport to Las Vegas, Nevada. When mainly choose this airline because I knew someone that had free miles so we ended up paying next to nothing for out ticket to and from Nevada, which was great. When booking the tickets, it was easy and hassle free. We had many choices to choose from as we were booking through a frequent flyer choice. We choose a mid morning flight and a mid afternoon back home flight, which again we paid next to nothing for. Since this was my first time taking this airline, I didn't know what to expect but I have heard great things previously. Everyone from the front desk to the flight attendants were all really nice and ran everything in an orderly manner. The plane itself was great and clean. Flights left on time which is always great. Definitely recommend this airline and will fly again with his airline if the opportunity arises.

I've flown with Delta out of all the Bay Area airports for over a decade now, and have to say that I enjoy my experience most from Oakland airport. Out of SJC, SFO, and OAK, Delta has the smallest presence in Oakland. Currently, Oakland only operates to Salt Lake City on a regular basis, with seasonal flights to Atlanta during the summer. Delta used to fly to Los Angeles from Oakland, but they recently axed that service. I used to fly the Oakland-Los Angeles route all the time with Delta - so I'm pretty sad that they discontinued this route. However, from past experiences, Delta has resumed the LAX route from Oakland on various occasions... so yes, I am hopeful they'll resume this route one day.

As a Delta medallion member, it's fairly easy to get upgraded from Oakland airport. Fewer elite members fly from Oakland. Understandably though, as there the routings are limited.

Regardless of this, service has continued to be friendly and quick. If I ever need to be routed via SLC, I'll be sure to fly with Delta.

I have planned my tour to Canada from the USA with my relatives and selected Delta Airlines to book a flight ticket online. This airline provides the most pleasing booking process if you visit its official website and get significant discounts and offers. I booked my flight ticket in advance, got the best seats, and selected the extra services like food, WI-FI, and in-flight entertainment without paying any additional charges. We enjoyed the best flight journey as the seating arrangement was excellent in the business class, and we enjoyed our tour amazingly while reaching our destination on time.

Delta lost my guitar

I handed my guitar to an employee at the gate. He said he would put it in the belly. It got scanned ( Philly)
I got off the plane in Atlanta, no guitar. Not scanned coming off of plane. I figure employee in Philly stole it.
They refuse responsibility for its lost
Then they emailed me a $200 voucher

So much class and consistency ! Have travelled on Delta numerous time and they always made sure you're getting a first class experience !

From the lounges, to the customer service to the planes it's always A plus!

Had to change our flights from New York to Chicago and the agent made sure she got us the best deals and even got us credits on the flights !

I was super impressed with her patience and making sure we came first!

So, I don't usually fly with Delta. I honestly didn't even fly with them this time around because they literally kept delaying my flight until I finally ended up having to book another one with Southwest while I was sitting there waiting for hours for them to "cancel". It's one thing if my flight is delayed. I understand that sh!t happens, but to keep delaying it for hours instead of just canceling is crazy. They were clearly trying to avoid giving everyone a refund.

Also, they were completely unorganized. Instead of trying to rebook us on another flight, they basically gave us all a 1800 number to call as we were waiting to see what was going to happen with our flight. Of course, nobody ever picked up while I was on hold. And how would they when there's 100 other people trying to call the same damn number at the same time. My flight was going to Utah and I needed to pick up my rental and drive out to Price which is almost 2 hours away.

I just ended up booking a flight with Southwest and walked over to their terminal so that I'd make it there on time. Had absolutely no issues with that flight whatsoever and I wished that I had just booked with them originally. Of course, I was out of money with Delta for the other flight. They never offered to reimburse me for the inconvenience, but after filling out a complaint request, they did eventually refund me for it. I'm grateful for this, but I also felt like it only made sense to do so because it was such an inconvenience for me.

After this experience, I probably wouldn't fly with Delta anymore.

I booked a roundtrip flight from San Francisco to Rome and back. When we arrived in Los Angeles, we were give there wrong flight number and gate of departure. Add fling for assistance from Delta was completely ineffective. From there it only got worse.

I get that cost is a must, but do a slight decrease to compete with a certain airline that has no sense of standard but a lower fare.

I truly enjoy the process of boarding and the extreme cleanliness of the plane. Your competition does not hold a candle to the overall outlook of your brand.

Your competition relies on nameless cattle that is willing to pay less. Just lower the cost to give the a taste of real service, they just might make a life changing choice.

Delta offers a large amount of entertainment and free medium speed WiFi for those long flights. I liked Delta because I was able to watch some live action anime films and Kung-Fu movies I never saw before. They also offer free meals, complimentary snacks and beverages. I flew Norwegian and you had to pay for everything!

The things I didn't enjoy were the uncomfortable seats especially since my flight was 15 hours long and the meals. It's your typical airplane meal that means it's going to be really gross tasting.

I flew Delta three times during my trip, two out of the three had good boarding service. Why did the flight from New York provide such crappy service though? They almost didn't let me on the plane even though I had a ticket and my family was telling them to let me on. Wtf! At least the flight attendants were okay during the flights.

Delta is the absolute worst airline I have ever dealt with. This is over multiple years. Horrible. Do not choose delta unless you are absolutely desperate. They screwed up my vacation last year by not actually booking - I had to cancel plans with family. Now, I can't change a trip next May online, so, I'm on hold for now 2 hours, I have to wait to get my credits put back in my account, since the online doesn't work.
