San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport, Terminal 2, C Gates. June 2024.
To get to the C gates used by Delta you have to clear TSA from in front of the D Gates and take a walk to your right. As soon as you get there the Sky Club is on your left. Present your credentials and either take an elevator or climb up.
The lounge has a high ceiling and lots of light. The windows primarily look across to the D Gates but there are opportunities to spot aircraft on the move. Seating is comfortable and spaced pleasantly apart. The restrooms well maintained and sport Delta color lighting. Having shower facilities is a big plus.
The food offerings are not extensive but include hot selections. The line switches from breakfast to lunch around 10:00am. Soda and coffee are machine dispensed.
There is welcomed bar seating with a bartender. The complimentary selections are fine but anything good is at a price premium - and it seems like Delta wants to upsell you.
Domestic airline lounges are nothing to get excited about. Complaining about what it lacks would be nitpicking. This Delta Sky Club is very nice even if it lacks a "wow" factor.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - May 25, 2024
I was on a status run and since it was an early morning one I decided to stop in, grab a quick breakfast before turning back around and heading to LA. I stepped in and was greeted kindly. I was pleasantly surprised to see they also had showers available so I went to sign up for one but so no attendants and since it looked like no one was waiting decided to try one of the doors.
Bad timing I guess since that's when whoever was in charge of the showers showed up and curtly told 'I need to sign up first as there might be a wait.' I went over put myself on the list and she promptly assigned me to the shower that I was heading into- no wait. Again despite there being no one else around she again told me somewhat brusquely that I had no more than 10 minutes.
Aside from that experience everyone else on staff was great. I was there for the breakfast/lunch flip and they handled it quickly and politely since there were some folks who seemed disgruntled about not having eggs anymore.
The newer lounge at LAX is more well appointed but I'd say SFO's is nicer than Atlanta's main one, just smaller.
Aside from the shower person everyone else was great.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 9, 2024
(Overall: B) - I felt that the SFO SkyClub is a very pleasantly spacious place to wait for a flight. However, I felt that hot food options were quite limited as half the food options were charcuterie. This would not be my first choice skyclub, but it is quiet and can be used as an arrival lounge, so still pleasant overall.

It just gets better and better! After arriving from SBP and before checking into the SFO Grand Hyatt, I stopped at my favorite SFO Lounge, the DL Sky Club. I was welcomed by Demi and her new GM, JC. As my birthday was coming up, JC prepared a special birthday plate for me to go with my champagne. I love the VIP service! Thank you, Demi, and JC (and Vanessa, too)!

Vanessa was the bar tender. Normal hug greeting for me and my husband. New wine menu. Great
Willamette Pinot.
Back to normal excellent service!Sep 3, 2023Previous reviewWow! What a change!
I was here last week and had the best time. Today was the complete opposite. I know the manager, who was fantastic, left. But I did not expect this club to go down like this.
To start, the check in person was going to tell me that I had no access. Her colleague had to educate her about Lifetime Memberships.
Upstairs there was one seat left at the bar. I grabbed it. I was ignored for a while. After a gentleman behind the bar had responded to another gentleman who wore a face covering (a gangsta mask, not a normal cloth or medical mask), because he yelled "ice", I thoiught I would be next in line to get a drink. No, I was ignored. Eventually I asked the guy. He told me he was busy and not supposed to be at the bar and had a break coming.
After that I waited for the other "bartender". She aslo ignored me. When I asked about getting a drink, she said she had to take casre of other customers first.
Finally I asked to purchase a bottle of the Raeburn Pinot noir as I had many hours before my connecting flight. Not available! Wow!
So disappointed!Apr 24, 2023Previous reviewI've been flying UA, AS, and AA the last years because our home airport (SBP) does not have DL service. Whereas the United Club at LAX is beautiful and light, the once flagship UA RCC is now a little outdated. I am lucky enough to have gotten a NW WorldClub lifetime membership which has been honored by DL. As a result, whenever I have enough tome at SFO, I trek over to Terminal 2. Two days ago I flew up from SBP to SFO to wait for a dear friend from Germany whom I was flying over from FRA. She had a very long layover, and I did not want her to wait alone. Given the distance from the G gates to the C gates, I ordered wheelchair service for her as she desperately needs knee surgery.
As I arrived at the Club, I was greeted by Marcello at the front desk. He greeted me, took my membership card and asked for my carrier and flight number. I told him I would wait for a friend coming in from abroad and that I would come down to get her. He acknowledged this and told me it was not an issue.
Once upstairs, I settled at the bar. Michelle recognized me. I also told her what I was doing. She started me off with some Pinot grigio and sparkling water. I made a spritzer. She encouraged me to check out the food selection. I did some computer work and watched some shows on my iPad. In between we chatted. Since I had over 6 hours, I ordered a bottle of Pinot noir.
My friend texted me that she was approaching. Another person, Jeff, was at the front desk downstairs. I explained that I was waiting for a friend. She arrived, we hugged, and I inquired, if he needed anything from us before taking the elevator up. He asked for my boarding pass. I wanted to hand him my membership card, but he insisted on scanning my BP. Then he looked at his screen puzzled. After a short while he finally took my card, looked at it, and started typing furiously. He then asked me if my friend was flying DL. No, we were on the same UA flight. He then told me that I could go back up, but she could not. I informed him that I was entitled to 2 companions and that I had done this several times in the past. After typing away for another while, he begrudgingly let us up.
Back upstairs, Michelle greeted Dagmar very nicely and immediately got her a wine glass. She was thirsty and wanted some water. I told Michelle we would get some sparkling wine later, but she poured her a glass of Prosecco shortly thereafter. Michelle later brough us two a dessert she had prepared herself. We were both so delightfully impressed. I also asked how I could order a wheelchair for Dagmar for our return to the F gates. She directed me to the Concierge desk. By now "Jeff" was sitting there with another woman. After I saw that, I told Michelle I was not in the mood to have him anywhere near me. She went to the agent and they both returned with a beeper telling us the time frame of the pickup. When I explained my reason for not approaching the desk, I just got a silent knowing look.
There was then a shift change at the bar. The new bar tender, Vanessa S, did not know me. In the last hour of our stay, we ran out of Pinot, so Vanessa kept us supplied with the complimentary Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dagmar was amazed at the hospitality and service we received. Realizing that this was a normal airline lounge, not a premium class lounge, the service was spectacular.Nov 1, 2022Previous reviewWe frequently fly through SFO on our way to other destinations. Whereas I am a UA 1K member and have a credit card which lets me into United Clubs, whenever we can, we go to the Delta Sky Club. As a lifetime member, I do not have to fly on DL or Sky Team members to access it. The bar staff is amazing: Demi and Amalia are the sweetest people. Friendly, warm, and service oriented. And the food selection is so much better than at the UA Club.
Dec 21, 2016Previous reviewWow! This is our first time at the "new" airside Delta Sky Club. I still remember the old one. A lovely setting upstairs. Breakfast buffet with boiled eggs, danishes, breads, etc. Full bar with premium selections for a charge. And the bartender, Vannessa, is a gem.

For decades Delta Airlines has been my preferred US domestic carrier, and by default I frequently visit Delta SkyClub lounges or SkyTeam affiliates or Delta Partners at most airports, in their absence I occasionally visit Centurion Lounges, Plaza Premium, Minute Suites, or PS LAX.
SFO SkyClub has an Institutional look and feel, not the most exciting place to hangout for a couple of hours before my flight, but still check all the right boxes, good food, top shelf drinks, comfortable chairs, and a good place to relax while doing some work or just chilling.
Airport lounges provide a bit more pleasant setting than your average gate waiting area,
United Polaris is by far the best lounge I've visited at SFO, for one reason or another, have never been to The Centurion Lounge here.Helpful 17Thanks 2Love this 16Oh no 0 - Aug 29, 2023
First, let's start with ambience. Some sky lounges are in the middle of the airport -- no views!! This one has a beautiful view of the airfield with light and bright windows. There are many areas to sit, including the awesome granite counter I'm typing at by the windows. Soft seating galore, plugs everThis lounge is well staffed and everyone is very nice!
Now, the food ... we arrived at a beautiful breakfast spread, complete with sausages, eggs, waffles, toast, bagels. The fruit was fresh. Hard boiled eggs. I love the coffee makers, which can produce whatever you want to drink from ground beans. The best Americano I've ever had at an airport!
Bring your Amex Platinum or your Delta SkyMiles card for free entry. If you're married, make sure you both have your cards. I forgot mine and had to call American Express to get my number. Extra guests (without cards) are $50.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Dec 20, 2023
I arrived pretty early for my flight and was able to enjoy the Delta Sky Club for a couple of hours. Luckily, I got there before the evening rush. The food offerings were simple. They had soup, salad, charcuterie board, hummus wraps etc. Honestly the food wasn't that great, and could have tasted a lot better. I think they can improve on their menu too. For dessert they had brownies, cookies and lemon bars. The food taste/quality was just alright for me. They had a self-serve soda fountain and coffee machine, in addition to their bar. There's plenty of seating and places to charge your phone or work on your laptop. Their bathrooms were clean and there's even showers available for use. The lounge was good but I just wish the food was better.

This is one of the prettiest Sky Clubs I have ever been to. Big windows that allow in a ton of light from the tarmac and runway. Tons of seating, including conference style tables to get work done. A huge bar area with a food buffet with yummy deliciousness to hold you over on your upcoming flight. The staff is incredibly friendly from check in to check out.
Everything here was spotless and you could see the staff cleaning up after each person departed. It was early in the morning so it was quiet but I could see this place filling up as the day goes on. The Coke Freestyle machine was broken but they did have tons of coffee and water to offer.
The bathrooms are clean and full of amenities including products for the ladies, hand cream, and showers. While it's not the biggest sky club in existence, it has more than enough space to stretch out and relax, or even just get some work done.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - 75894922703Jun 20, 2023
I really like this club!! Better than the centurion and on par with the Polaris. Never flew out of T2. On my way to Boston and decided to give this a try. I love the protein selection. Chicken - sautéed, roasted and fried. Lots of tofu too and cured meats. I am doing this intermittent fasting thing and had been fasting for 19 hours. My protein intake is not quite to my daily allowance so this club has a great deal of healthy clean protein to choose from. A great place to eat to break your fast!
Unlike the centurion it is not very crowded. The non alcoholic drinks are varied which I really like. I filled up my 32 Oz water bottle with lemon water.
I like that you can look out to the runway.
It is by C3. Easy to find. Pleasant atmosphere.
Makes me rethink my next year's travel plan - I might switch over to Delta after this stay.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jun 25, 2023
Beautiful lounge inside Terminal 2. Free Wi-Fi, open bar, assortment of dishes and desserts and lounging stations. They spoil you with different options. Staff is friendly.
Side notes: Depending on your card/mode of entry generally it's free for the card holder: Add ons are $50 per person at the time of this review. You must also have a delta flight scheduled when checking in. Check in at least 3 hours before delta airline partner departures
PSA: It can get busy depending on the time of day. But there are plenty of seats aroundHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
