While brushing my teeth the crown of my teeth fell out
My dentist was traveling abroad she referred me to see her colleague Dr. Derek Wong in San Mateo.
He was graciously repaired my tooth explained everything carefully Dr. Wong and his staff took great care of me.
I am so grateful for his generosity and kindness

Dr. Derek Wong is truly an excellent doctor. He is knowledgeable, caring and is always there for his patients. I've had other doctors in the past, but Dr. Wong goes above and beyond and is top notch in every dimension! If you are looking for a great doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Derek Wong! I also want to acknowledge his entire team - professional, friendly and caring. Thank you guys! You are the best!

Gina C.Antioch, CA08Aug 21, 2024I called Dr. Wongs office when I was experiencing tooth pain and I was very nervous because I knew there was a possibility of needing a root canal and the fact I had not visited the dentist in over 10 years! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Wong treated me with caution and care since I was in a lot of pain and recommended a specialist for me. I cannot thank Dr. Wong and his staff enough for their kindness towards a very nervous patient like me! Once I get my root canal, I cannot wait to go back to Dr. Wong to work on my overall teeth health. HIGHLY recommend!

/ Dr Wong has been my Dentist for 1 year now. Front office atmosphere is very pleasant with the vibes and collection of Jazz music Interest. Good to know that parking is available to patients with easy access to office. I'm pretty happy with the switch I made. Dr Wong is very professional as he is knowledgeable. From general visits to cosmetic visits he is very gentle and easy. Thank you to his staff. They make a great team.

This was my second visit to Dr. Wong for cleaning. I felt comfortable on the chair while the hygienist worked on my teeth. She was detail-oriented though there were a few drops of water on my shirt. No biggie. The doctor was easy to communicate with concerns/questions. Overall, I felt that staff were more engaging in communicating than my first appointment.

Dr. Wong provided a step by step explanation what the examination would entail. After the examination, he gave me his analysis and provided options on how to proceed. The assistant (can't remember her name) also went ahead and said she will reach out to my insurance company to see if and how much of the fee will be covered. I truly appreciate this team. I definitely continue seeing them for further dental work and I recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Wong and his staff are the most competent, understanding, and knowledgeable people I have ever encountered in the dental profession. Dr. Wong is extremely skilled and honest. I have never experienced care like I received from him recently. His staff is courteous and efficient. I would never go anywhere else-just the very, very best.

He is one the most caring dentist I have ever met. He is an exceptionally good communicator; he will answer your email promptly and informed his treatment procedures through out the process. He will listen to any concern you may have patiently. His office is run efficiently and there is little waiting time for you to be seen. Annie, the office manager is friendly and efficient, I will highly recommend Dr. Wong.

Had a second cleaning and both times were the best I ever had. The hygienist, I believe her name is Monica - did a fantastic job and made sure my cleaning was done thorough and with care!
