DI Repairs

My landlord keeps sending DI Repairs to repair things around our apartment and I am still waiting for a pleasant experience. The last project was to fix walls in a bedroom (it had multiple cracks and the plaster gave in in other parts). The first guy they sent made it worse, so they had to send another guy the next day and the project that really should have only taken 2-3 days is still ongoing a week and a half later. Every day it's a different guy. One of them I could hear yelling to his supervisor that he didn't even want to be here. The painter that was supposed to bring it over the finish line today was supposed to show up between 8-10am just cancelled.

If you can, use someone else!

Can't say enough good things about this company. We've used them for two separate projects (vanity install + tile replacement). We'd also use them for bigger/more complex jobs

My experience with DI has been built up over several years. Sales orientated (quotes are over priced, with unnecessary charges, and an eagerness to get the most out of their clients rather than be fair). Weak operations and sporadic service (quality of work and client relations).

I hired Dialed in Repairs to install a TV mount on my living room wall. The whole experience was great. They came on time, consulted with me about exactly where I wanted it, and got the job done quickly. I also appreciated that they were very careful about not dirtying anything in my apartment, took off shoes coming in, and put down a protective cover on the floor so that my carpet was kept clean during installation. They were also very patient with my dog bothering them. Would definitely hire them again.

The owner of my building requested a quote for a renovation of one of the units. A young guy named , Aidan, came by to give is a work estimate. He immediately recommended replacing the hardwood floors. Both the owner and I, the resident manager said we wanted to keep the floors and have them refinished. We walked through several other areas that need repairing and a ballpark number of about $50-60k was raised.

We never received a quote from Aidan. We called multiple times and we never heard back on even other basic repairs. I called just now, and got voice mail again.

We had the hardwood floors refinished by someone who only does floors and they turned out great.

Dialed In Repairs has been my go-to General Contractor for over a year. They have been very knowledgeable and responsive to all my concerns. Dialed In Repairs has also served as our onsite maintenance staff through our business to business relationship which began in late 2018.

Their emergency response time is nearly immediate (within reasonable time to allow for commute to work site). Work performed ranges from plumbing and electrical to wall repairs, etc.

Highly recommend for one-time repairs or ongoing projects.

Fast, simple, effective and reasonably priced. Staff was exceedingly polite. I had a simple request to hang a single large painting and they came in and delivered.

I took a chance as they only had 6 reviews, but were half the price of competitors. In this case the gamble paid off - would definitely use them again.

DI repairs really saved me when my sink broke and water was gushing out of it. They coordinated with my building and were communicative, prompt, efficient, and supportive in an emergency repair situation. Joel, my technician, waited until the water had been turned back on to make sure everything was working. I really appreciated him going above and beyond.

DI was very responsive and able to swap out my tankless water heater the next day at a reasonable rate.

Carlos, the plumber was quite knowledgable and competent.

I will definitely call them again for future plumbing requirements.

Showed up on time. They did high quality and efficient work. Would definitely use them again.
