My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Natasha Agbai and the team at Discover Health for our son since he was born 14 months ago- so this review is long overdue!

It really is impossible to put into words how wonderful our experience with this team has been. Dr. Agbai is patient, kind, and compassionate to all the struggles, unknowns, and anxieties we have faced as first time parents. At every turn, without exception, the entire team at Discover Health has been right there with us: guiding us, giving us advice, and exploring options together.

If you're considering Discover Health, we cannot recommend them highly enough. This practice has consistently been above and beyond anything we could have hoped to find for our family, and we feel so fortunate to have found them.

One last thing: I can't possibly end this review without giving additional praise to Dr. Castelli and Dr. Herbsman for all their on-call replies to us as well. Thank you!!

My family have been members at Discover Health for 14 years, starting as a pediatric service for our newborn, and now also as doctors for my wife and me. It's been one of our best financial and health decisions. The support staff are great (shout out to Brandon!) and the doctors have clearly all been carefully vetted before hiring so as to maintain an all-star team. Over many years there, we've had nothing but responsive, knowledgeable, and patient doctors. They were all great, but to name just the ones we've been with, that are currently on staff: Dr. Jon-Michael Castelli, Dr. Oded Herbsman, and Dr. Desmond Wilson -- you rock! Thanks for everything and we can't recommend you guys highly enough.

Joining Discovery has been one of the best things we've done for our family. Its made a tremendous difference in the health of our children on more than one occasion. As a parent there is nothing better than being able to pick up the phone and call an experienced pediatrician at any hour of the day or night. One of our two doctors (they work as a team) will typically pick up after 2 - 3 rings.

My wife and I both joined recently and moved from One Medical. Our experience has been similar and we could not ask for more from our doctors.

Absolutely amazing practice from top to bottom! From the front desk, to medical assistants, to doctors, to follow ups. Cannot recommend the quality of care more!

Dr Agbai and her team are the gold standard in health care. I switched to Discover Health for my 3 month old daughter when she had a dangerous case of RSV and we weren't getting attentive and comprehensive care from our old pediatric office which was overwhelmed with patients. Dr Agbai made daily house visits to check on my daughters vitals throughout the virus, they checked in with me day and night, and gave me detailed explanations of what to expect so I felt comfortable. She is our third baby, but this scariest health experience we had had and we got through it safely and calmly with the care and guidance of Discover health. We were so happy with Dr Agbai's knowledge, attentiveness and care that we have since switched our two older children over to her. The kids love her and having at home visits has made my life 100x easier and keeps our kids out of germ filled doctors offices. The office is a pleasure to deal with- we set up appointments over text and remind me to schedule necessary check ups and vaccines for my kids.

Not that hard to get to - I take the 47 Muni to Jones Street. Walk the extra block to Taylor then another two blocks up to the clinic. It's a really quiet area despite being close to the Wharf. I like the space itself - welcoming waiting area where you can help yourself to coffee and tea, while you wait. I go here for my Ideal Protein check ins and buying Ideal Protein food items.

Really sweet receptionists - Chanel and Shayla (sp?) - and I go to Dr. Youngren for my check ins. She's easy to talk too, gives good suggestions, and is overall a great coach if you're looking to try the Ideal Protein program.

I'm interested in the holistic treatments they have to offer here. Definitely going to look into them more.

I first came to work with Dr. Youngren when my husband and I decided to participate in one of her 21 day cleanses. I'm not going to lie, the cleanse was not easy, but it was SO worth the work, and Dr. Youngren was incredibly kind and supportive throughout. And the results - more (and more stable) energy, better mood, less congestion/sinus issues, and decreased achy joints - waaaaay surpassed my - our - expectations! We will continue to follow up with Dr. Youngren for sure!!!

My children have been members of Discover Health under the care of Dr. Herbsman for 6 years and I couldn't be happier with the care. Dr. Herbsman is available over phone, text and email, and when he isn't on duty, his partner is there to help. From meeting us in the hospital when my son was sick to late night visits when my daughter had an ear infection, to all vaccinations and wellness visits in the comfort of our living room. I'm so grateful to have Discover Health on our team.

Discover health is such a wonderful practice. All the staff members are extremely committed and there is a large amount of on-site services. While there are multiple doctors at DH, I have only had the privilege of working with two (Dr. Lewis + Dr. Sewell), my main PCP being Dr. Lewis.

There are so many great things about Dr. Lewis. She's got a TON of experience, is quick to respond to any question, and is thorough. There's also something extra special about her as well--she is truly present during visits. As a health professional myself, I've interacted with countless doctors. Most are hurried and frazzled, in a rush to get through the appointment, trying to catch up since they are already 45 mins behind schedule. It's never been like this with Dr. Lewis. There's no typing on computers (or if there is I haven't noticed) and there's no watching of clocks. Due to Dr. Lewis' diligence to provide top-notch care, she's helped me solve health issues I didn't think I could fix. That in itself has been priceless.

At DH I feel more like a person and less like a patient, and that is such a wonderful thing. It's hard to know what great healthcare is until you have it!

Dr. Youngren was flustered, disorganized and unprofessional during the $330 intake. She never even did a physical exam. During my brief stint of working with her she sent me on a wild goose chase which did nothing but hinder my search for a diagnosis. Supposedly an expert in environmental illness, she is in practice an expert in wasting your time.
