My aunt reached out to me because she was having a problem with rats in her basement. I'm not from NY so I was referred to Cliff by a good friend of mine. I couldn't have been more pleased. I know quite a bit about pest control so it was great to have this situation taken care of responsibly. I highly recommend these guys should you have a problem with rats or mice.

Wonderful, on time and took care of the problem! Would definitely recommend them to anyone who has rodent or bug issues.

I had an appointment scheduled for August 3, 2024 between 2-4pm and at 1:145pm I received a call advising the technician had car trouble and would be unable to make it. They wanted to reschedule for Monday but I made a Saturday because I would be unavailable on the weekday . Now everything is out of the cabinets and a mess and I`m forced find another company at the last minute . If your time is valuable I would not recommend this company.

This is a great service. Wr had a persistent mouse problem that defied traps and earlier attempts at plugging access points. After service by Chris, all that ended. He was very thorough, patching holes and even using screening when necessary. I highly recommend DRA.

These guys are the best. They show up when they say they will, they work hard and fast and effectively and they stand behind their work. We had two nice after 12 years in our home. Chris came in and made sure we never saw one again. Super professional. Highly recommended.

amazing service sealing up holes in our home. we are pleased with the results and felt it was very thorough.

My apt had serious rodent problems (droppings everywhere) and sticky trap were going to cut it. I looked through multiple vendors ( though had to be licensed) and from initial consultation I knew they were the one.

Price: 5/5 ($$$$, Please read context below)

I live in a 3 floor, two family, post war house that was held together by duct tape (literally my pipes had duct tape on them- but a story for another time). For them to do the every floor and basement was about $2k which is totally worth it! Plus, they have a one year guarantee. So, if the mice come back within that time period they come free of charge.

I called multiple other places that offered me $350 and a 3 month guarantee without even seeing my buildings. I would literally have beg them to visit first before making an estimate and that rubbed me the wrong way.

This place required an initial consultation and gladly walked me through the areas of concern in my apt (ex. Behind the stove) and how they got to their pricing. They would pull out the appliances (for free) and I would just need clear some space for them. Super helpful when you have elderly people!

All in all, I am super satisfied with their work and haven't seen mice since. It was steal for them to do my whole building and I am insured for a whole year.

Chris was so great and thorough. He helped me identify the many sources of my longstanding mouse problem and blocked them all up. Amazing service and quality - can't recommend highly enough!

Issues Experienced:

Ineffectiveness:
1. Repeated treatment on same spot (4 times) within 6-8 months, are again issues, as a gray area purposefully left
2. Ambiguity attempted from post-contract through each-visit eg: visit report does not contain details on date, findings, treatment-conducted


Inefficient:
1. Pre-Contract with thorough Inspection is a beginning of a client dollar trap
2. Inspite of identifying droppings, temporary aluminum wool is squeezed without sealant, which is pushed off. They use construction foam and caulking


Greed:
Company keeps demanding more money in addition to dollars at contract (greater than $500/year) to install rodent poison boxes in visible corners


Company's Defense:
1. Blame NYC buildings
2. Current technician blames the previous i.e. internal blame


My Offense:

1. Waste of Time:
Ineffectiveness and Inefficiency in treatment causes monthly visits where the client is expected make provision in workday to move all the stuff around at home for re-treatment

2. Tools used by company are messy e.g.: foam creates mess; and temporary eg: caulking

3. Company primarily conducts business in and for NYC, yet it blames NYC



Common Sense Suggests:

1. Company must refund client (myself) contract amount $546.25 and damages worth $1000 or more for wasted time, efforts, and buying supplies

2. Company must shutdown as a failed business



Solution is DIY (Do-It-Yourself):

Place baits:
1. Corner fit bait (poison) with station (less than $16)

For sealing holes:
2. Steel wool (coarseness #4) ($10), 2-3 bags is good for 2BR apt.
3. Flex Paste or putty, Super Thick Rubber Spreadable Paste 1 lb. Tub ($15)
4. Caulking only meant for roach-protection in thin spaced-areas
