What is the public handicap bathrooms like? is there a sharp 90 degree angle once u enter the doorway from the hallway, park into the bathroom? I am a Permobil wheelchair user (large chair) How wide is the entrance doorway.

      A:

I believe there are no handicap bathrooms in this park, the closest 2 restrooms to this park are in a mobile trailer parked near the street-side entrance.

      Can you bring food?

      A:

Yes, you can bring food. But they also have a food stand in the park. I believe it's a taco spot.

We have been coming here since the park was initially constructed in 2018. Over the years the park has evolved and a lot of new additions have been made. The park's location is great and there is ton of things to do here. Now that there are more options to eat around closer to the park, one can practically spend the entire day. We recently came on a Sunday and had a lot of fun, they now have water sprinklers for kids. Definitely a great spot to visit when in the area.

Beautiful park right along the river. The views of the city are awesome. The old Domino Sugar building is cool to see especially how they preserved it for the residential property. Worth checking out for the scenery alone.

I forgot this spot was here, I came recently on an evening right after sunset and it was beautiful! Great views of Manhattan and the bridges, a nice place to relax on lawns and chairs just scattered about. There's a walkway as well a bit elevated if you want a higher view (not that it makes any difference), and the cranes from the Domino Sugar manufacturing days are still around. Great spot to hang out and enjoy the view!

Domino Park in Williamsburg, NY is a fantastic spot! The waterfront views of Manhattan are stunning, and the park itself is beautifully designed with plenty of seating, green spaces, and playful areas for kids. The history of the old Domino Sugar Factory is thoughtfully incorporated, adding a unique charm. It's perfect for a stroll, a picnic, or just relaxing by the river. Highly recommend visiting!

I love the view from Domino Park!! :)

If you find the High Line too congested to traverse, here's a great alternative space right across the East River since it was designed by the same firm over the course of six years. Just opened in 2018, it's at the Domino Sugar Refinery site on a five-acre patch next to the waterfront. They've done an excellent job integrating salvaged factory equipment into the design and even incorporated the sugar production process into the playground layout.

The waterfront walk is only a quarter-mile long with the views of Manhattan quite grand. I had no idea how many light aircraft landed on the East River. What's more, there were water jets for the kiddies and a taqueria just 'cuz. We didn't partake because hell, we just ate. Here's a suggestion: Jamie W. and I made an excursion of it by having lunch in the Lower East Side, walking the Williamsburg Bridge, and relaxing here before heading to Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.

Very pretty park next to the Williamsburg Bridge and the river. Tons of seating, both in the sun and in the shade. There are fountains and water features. Grassy spots to picnic or stretch out and read. The domino sugar factory is being restored and turned into a multi-use space. It's still under construction, but I've seen photos of the inside, and it looks beautiful, ripe for photo ops.

They've also incorporated factory equipment into the site, which is a fun touch. There is a playground and a volleyball court.

I plan to go back to see the factory when it opens up, as well as see the bridge and lights at night. In a very walkable part of Williamsburg, near galleries, shops, and restaurants.

Came here with my son at night it's a beautiful park. They did an excellent job. I haven't been here since they built it, but now that my son is big enough, I came thru. It's a safe environment, clean and beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline.

Parking is tough in this neighborhood, I wouldn't recommend driving. If you wanna ride a bike or take the subway, it will make your life easier.

I wish they had more lighting on the playground itself. It's so dark. It wouldn't hurt to have light focused just on the yard itself to light it up more.

My son loved it, there are so many nooks and crannies for him to play and get lost in. Nice lil fun mini city playground.

Great for photo opportunities any season, I will keep coming back to this park, looking forward to see what types of business the Domino Refinery will bring into the neighborhood also, not to be missed on your Brooklyn & NYC trip .

Beautiful park but be careful in the cold as the waterfront will amplify it. We came in the thick of December at night to show my friend around after going to the 7th Street burger event. The place looks great with a beautiful view but it was very cold. I can imagine it being extremely nice in the summer or warmer temperatures. We climbed the rampway and got a nice elevated view.
