Dryer Vent Wizard of Sacramento and Contra Costa

I call the dryer vent Wizard for my rental home. They did a great job. The tenant was very happy with with the work. I have use this company in the past. They do excellent job on dryer vent cleaning, dryer vent repair, and dryer vent installation.

I am a first time home owner with a VERY SMALL laundry room with a roof vent, so when my dryer lint trap stayed empty after multiple loads I panicked since I couldn't check my vent on my own. Blake's recommended Dryer Vent Wizard to me and I made a booking online. Damion contacted me the day of and informed me that he had been double-booked, but was able to work things out so I could keep my original appointment. He was very prompt and gave me a call when he was on his way. In a short visit he taught me a lot about how my dryer and vent works and reattached the flexible hose (which had partially come apart) using some tape so it wouldn't fall off again. I didn't end up having to pay for a vent cleaning because the vent was totally clear as evidenced by pictures from Damion.

I'm really happy with the prompt and professional service and the fair pricing. Damion was also just so kind and good humored and really put me at ease. Is it weird to say that I can't wait to get my vent cleaned in the fututre? I'll definitely call the Wizards again!

So they came, they looked, and gave me a bid. I had no choice as my dryer had just been repaired by Advanced Appliance Repair, who would not guante his work unless the vent was cleaned, thus recommending this company. He told me more or less how much they would charge.

The total for cleaning the vent on a one story house, with a very clogged vent was over $400. A lot more than anticipated, and a lot more than what the lady on the phone had estimated when I booked the service.

So- was the job done? Yes.

I'll just caution everyone and ask them to shop around if you have more time than I did. If you feel really adventurous or handy, you can do this yourself after watching YouTube videos, buying on Amazon a flexible cleaning brush that you attach to a drill, and doing the cleaning yourself from the top of the vent, while you connect a shop vacuum to the other end where the dryer connects.

I have a rental in elkgrove and my tennants called saying that their dryer vent is clogged with a D80 code. We called DRYER VENT WIZARDS (BIG MISTAKE) quote on quote FREE QUOTE.
Tech calls me and tells me all this BS and wanted $600. My jaw dropped.

And we clean air ducts and dryers for a living and we chsrge $175-$200 here in the bay area and this company are SCAMS AND CROOKS.

This is the first time I used Dryer Vent Serivices. It was absolutely pathetic, the owner and customer service were not friendly at all. When I told them that they have not done a decent job. All they kept on saying "The work is finished and now pay up".

I called the customer service line to tell them the same. She mentioned that there was static, she called me back and when I told them that I am not happy with the service at all. Again, she stated that it is clean since their "employee is saying son. When I told them it was not done right. They cut the call and never called back.

The best part is that they worker and the owner were complaining that I am wasting their time. In the name of an equipment there was a little round brush and electric screwdriver--No Vacuum cleaner, No ladder..Nothing
No pictures were taken to show before and after, there were hardly any lint which came out. The time spent was literally 2 minutes when the person went on the roof. That too ladder borrowed had to be kept back by me (which in first place they should have it)......

I know whom not to get next time...."Neighborly company".......

I had a dryer vent cleaning session. Andrea inspected the vent and gave his honest opinion that it is already clear and it does not need cleaning.

Too expensive but the work was of good quality. The tech was both professional and very nice. I did not receive a quote over the phone so had no idea how much it would cost in advance. The tech kept telling me what he was doing to save me money but it was still much more than I had paid in the past for a similar service. The tech explained to me that the price was established for the entire state and not by my local region.

I moved into a house with a clogged dryer vent. At the time of moving in, I thought it was my dryer was being old and it took a WHILE to dry my fabrics. Eventually my clothes never came out dry. I replaced my dryer with a new one, and the clothes still came out moist. I worked up the acceptance that my vent was definitely clogged.

Andres came out to inspect the dryer vent and offered a price. Pricing is based on how long the vent is. The cost was a little higher than I expected, but as my neighbor put it, "it's cheaper than a fire." Andres took photos before and after the service. The previous house owner had put a mesh around all the vents and chimneys on top of the roof as a total house pest control. The mesh acted as a lint trap and no air could escape while the dryer was running. Andres showed me a picture where there was a cylinder brick of old lint at the opening. He warned me that the cleaning would be loud, and boy was it. After about a half hour of knocking and vacuuming, he was done. The dryer vent was a straight shot up to the roof after all.

Andres was swift, courteous, and patiently answered all my concerns and questions. He even offered recommendations when I asked about trying to fit a larger dryer in the cramped laundry room. Would recommend the people at DVW.

Micah Herbert of Dryer Vent Wizard is great. Idvd used him twice- once to finally clean our vents, a second time to address inspection issues as we were selling our house. Both times he was timely, courteous, and did a great job. I recommend him.

The other day I dropped a half dryer sheet down my lint vent. I was trying to figure out how to locate it, did a ton of research and in my research, learned that dryer lint build up leads to many fires each year. I began to think about when we might have last cleaned the lint from the dryer vent to the outside or the lint vent and couldn't remember. I read many excellent reviews of this company and gave them a call. Today, Andres and AJ came out, listened to my concern about the half a dryer sheet, then came in, looked at the dryer location, took the back off, removed the lint vent and showed me how lint, even though I clean my lint screen after every drying, had gathered within the machine. They looked to see if the half a dryer sheet was there. It wasn't. They detached the dryer vent line from the wall and right inside was the half a dryer sheet. Yay! Then they looked at the dryer vent from the ground and from the roof, gave me an estimate for recommended work. The estimate and the work they were recommending (cleaning the lint from inside the dryer and cleaning the dryer vent to the roof) were exactly what I had expected - nothing more, nothing less. They performed the work and were on their way after putting everything back where it belonged.

I will gladly call on Dryer Vent Wizard of Elk Grove and Sacramento for future dryer or lint vent needs. From the first phone call all the way through the service received, the customer service was superb. And they're licensed, insured, and Andres and AJ were just absolutely the most delightful technicians and very knowledgeable.
