Ducky's Car Wash

Ducky's Car Wash has become my go-to spot ever since it opened a few months ago. I was so impressed that I even jumped on the subscription and it's been worth every penny.

The beauty of Ducky's is the sheer convenience. You just pull up to the car wash, and their license plate reader does the magic, checking if you're a member. If you are, you're in the fast lane to a sparkling clean car!

Pricing-wise, it's actually quite reasonable. I'm one of those people who can't resist washing my car weekly, and this subscription is a steal for me! And while it might not quite turn your car into a showroom model, it certainly does the job. Super convenient and an all-around great service.

Service inpatient to a distracted driver who is rushing around doing errands. This was not a reason to scratch my paint. I have washed this car wash before and not come out with scratches. The price to repair the paint at the body shop exceeds what I saved by going to this car wash.

All the recent rains means that Spring is looking to be a mean one this year and it's clearly started early. My blue car was now a weird tint of yellow because of all the pollen that had blown on and stuck to it...!

Luckily, I was sent a certificate to try Ducky's car wash with a Lucky Duck wash. The value was $20 and it gets you the top of the line wash. Upon driving in, it was easy enough to scan the redemption code and then the attendant handed me a couple interior wipes for the car - nice! He then guided me into the correct position before telling me to put my car into neutral - interesting...!

Going through the wash was pretty neat, there's a bit of a light show going on for your entertainment too. Overall, I have to say the Lucky Duck was certainly more thorough than most regular gas station washes but still no comparison to an actual detail job. Nonetheless, my car's blue was returned to its crystal sheen (for now) and I'm happy. Price is a bit high for a normal subscription but it looks like they have specials now and then so I'll keep an eye out for a good deal.

So as with another review, got hit from behind while midway in the car wash. Spoke with the driver behind and the car was in neutral. So this was the car wash fault and they said it was the back driver fault. Completely not possible. Do not wash your car here unless you want the most expensive wash ever.

Oh boy, looks like I'm joining the team of bad experiences.

I was rear ended in this car wash. And ok, things happened. The frustration? Management completely didn't care, there's no way to get a hold of anyone, emails unreturned, no one on site speaks English.

Basically, no one at this location cares about anything. Membership, cancelled....

My favorite quick car wash in the Bay Area. Good deal with your gas. And the employees are quick and attentive :) there is only one working vacuum so it is a bit annoying to wait for that but its complimentary so can't be too mad

Lousy car wash. The attendants were slow and showed no attention to detail or service. I actually didn't even get a word from either of the two workers. The attendant who sprayed the pre wash only sprayed the hood of my car and the front two wheels. The light amount of dirt from the recent storms on my roof and back of my car didn't even get rinsed off. Waste of money.

This is the best automatic car wash I found in the area. I love that they have people spraying your car before the car wash, it makes such a big difference. They have memberships that really let you get your money's worth. It's a very quick car was but still cleans your car better than most automatic washes. My only critique is about the vacuums - last time I was there they only had one functioning vacuum, and the suction was not very good.

Pretty good and fast wash, doesn't deserve the harsh ratings, good for a gas station automatic.

10/23 I went to the South San Francisco location to get my vehicle washed. I asked the guy if they will have any promotions coming up for Black Friday, and he replied no. I went ahead to enroll in the regular monthly. 2 days later I received an email that is a 70% off promotion. I don't understand why they are not honest, is this how they run their business.
