Dunn Tire

We contacted Dunn Tire on Bremerton Road near N. Syracuse after calling 4 other tire shops that were not willing to work on our Class C camper. We needed 6 tires since it's a dually in the rear and in spite of a good sale no one was will to work with us. The Manager (Dante) was simply "Bring it right in"! He got the tires from a supplier and did the job all in one day. I can't recommend them enough, quick competent service at a competitive price.

I spent a good amount of time searching for a reputable tire company in the Syracuse area and due to the fact that I had used another Dunn Tire in the now closed Baldswinsville area I looked for another and found the one in Mattydale.

I was very pleased with the prices and especially with the customer service. The staff was very helpful and kept me appraised of what was going on the what needed to be done on my car. I ended up with 2 new tires, a rear alignment and a new battery (mine was 5 years old.)

I highly recommend this shop.

We were visiting Syracuse when we got a flat tire driving on 690. Coincidentally, we had an appointment to have four tires replaced the next day in Buffalo. Jim checked us in and gave us a quote for replacement of all four tires, for a good price. He said it would take it about an hour and 20 minutes to complete, and just 45 minutes later the job is done!! We couldn't be more happy with their service. Thanks Jim and team!

Been going to the Mattydale (nee Cicero) store for years as well as Brockport before we moved to Syracuse in 2009. Always good honest service, good prices and going out of their way to make things right when there's a hiccup. They sell you only what you need and I've never been screwed by this shop.
Tried the local major chain shops and every time I kicked myself for not going to Dunn Tire.

We buy our snow tires and regular tires here. They change them over for free, each Spring and Fall. Their Cicero location was more convenient for me, but this Mattydale location is easy enough to get to. They must have been doing well to upgrade to a bigger place! Prices are reasonable. Most workers are pretty friendly.

Their waiting room is a good size and they have complimentary coffee and bottled water. There's a large, clean bathroom off of that. Free wi-fi and you can walk to Kmart or Dollar Tree and putz around while you wait.

I have paid this business about 5 times to fix problems with my suspension and they have not fixed the problem once. After 750 dollars worth of "service" I still have the same problems.
My car has a clear clunking noise coming from the front driver side wheel which sounds just like a bad strut, they decided to replace both tie rods and charge over 200 dollars for each.
They also did an alignment on my car and it pulls to the right.
They explained the tie rod causes a pulse and vibration on the highway. It shakes, vibrates and the steering wheel vibrates even more now, after they "fixed" it.

They acted like they were too busy to deal with me when I brought it back in and were rude to me. They test drove it (around the parking lot for about 2 seconds) while they had me sit in their fish bowl of a waiting room and left me there without saying anything to me for a half an hour and I'm still waiting here to have my car fixed. This is after the two other times I wasted my time with this "auto repair" shop. Do not bring your car here for service. Don't even get tires here.

A flat tire as we pulled out of our hotel made for a not great morning. Our AAA guy recommended Dunn Tire to get my tire fixed after he put the donut on. We drove there and they were fantastic. They got us right in, fixed my tire and checked all the other pressures. They even tried to figure out how to reset my TPMS sensor that has been on for ages! All in all we were able to get out of there quickly and safely and get on with our vacation. Thank you so much!!

Dunn Tire Mattydale has great customer service. I've used this particular tire location for years and have been very satisfied. They put air in your tires for free, when ever you need it.
I had a problem with the struts in the back of my car. So my tires were always low. I must have been here 6 times before I could get the struts fixed with my Subaru mechanic. Then they continued to fill the tires until I could afford new tires. When I was ready, they took my car in right away, and 1 hour later, everything was good to go. Very pleased!! Highly recommend!

BTW, they're not open on Sunday's.

Absolute piss poor customer service and this ain't my first bad experience at this location. Why accept a 9am appointment if you can't get the car in until at least 4pm? I wouldn't have asked for a 9am appointment if I didn't need the car until 7pm!

Good customer service..not always the fastest but its because they're always busy with customers which is a good sign. They are polite and good communicators which is a rare find in the tire business.
Products are solid enough...and they keep good records and have good warranties...they balance for free for life of the tires and really do well at small car stuff. No hesitation in using them- i have for four cars now.
