1428 Haight Patio Cafe & Crepery

1428 was a go to place for brunch and gatherings after lock down because of the outdoor seating. I always go with a large group and it's always hassle free and I'd recommend it for larger groups. You can order at the counter, and I like that they have their entire menu at the front. It's no hassle having to split the bill, since everyone essentially pays for their own meal, and it's self seating.

I most recently tried their fish and chips which was very hot and crispy. They have bottles of condiments on the side, so I was able to add as much vinegar as I wanted which I liked. Every meal I've had has been a hit, and always make great memories so definitely will be back!

We visited on the 4th of July for a poetry event on the back patio. The service at the counter was great and between the two of us we ordered fish tacos, a club sandwich, and a beer. I'm generally wary of restaurants that have too diverse of a menu, but I was pleasantly surprised with my club sandwich. B thought the tacos were okay but wished they were served hotter.

I didn't know this place existed and it seems like a quiet gem of a spot on Haight. This isn't a destination restaurant for me but if we were back in the neighborhood and needed to grab a bite, I wouldn't hesitate to try something else from their menu.

Had some good food at this cafe in Haight-Ashbury. It has breakfast if you want to go early, but there's also the lunch and dinner options. 1428 Haight is known for crepes. Of course these are the breakfast pastries and not the creepy people. There's also burgers and stuff.

Came later at lunch so we chose something appropriate. It's got a few burgers. There's a few options for vegetarians. Fewer than you would expect for around here but still has something good. It's about $15 for a burger, so not cheap but these are big thankfully. I got the Fiesta Veggie Burger. This had a homemade veggie patty made with black beans, chickpeas, cilantro, and corn. This was topped with avocados, crispy onion strings, fire roasted chiles, and roasted tomatoes, as well as truffle aioli, which is the one thing I left off. Also it came with a side of fries. There were plenty of these and it was a filling ass meal.

Good food. It's just there's no alcohol here which is the only bad thing except for the price. There's some things including burgers that are okay for vegans and vegetarians.

Solid food nice owner and cute patio. can order eat out front or inside or back. I come here every time i'm in SF. Easy to call in order and pull up and pickup a to go order. Please try it i know you'll like it and prices are reasonable. French onion soup - pancake eggs bacon - club sandwich fries

Before we explore Haight street, my friends and I tried this crepe place. We ordered to share and it's a good thing since the portions were quite large. You ordered the food at the cashier then they'll bring the food to your table. We ordered the garden fajita with chicken, triple haight, Mediterranean, and for our dessert funky monkey. Everything was delicious and savory. So glad we chose this even there're many Middle Eastern restaurants there and some Asian too. It's a very casual place to eat. The staff was very accommodating she (sorry for not asking your name) let us put the ice cream back to the freezer while we're eating our meals, thank you! Pay parking is everywhere but it's SF so it's not easy to find one

Went here with my run club post run and it was perfect! The food has big portions, there are lots of choices for coffees, and there's a cute outdoor patio when you walk past the counter. The staff was super friendly and food came out pretty quickly!

Yummy but pretty straightforward. Nothing wildly special but you can get some good classics. I just got the two eggs scrambled with bacon, toast, and potatoes and it hit the spot. The potatoes were actually really yummy! the servers were very nice too! My one qualm is that it smelled kinda funny when I walked in - almost turned me away, but I already had plans with a friend to go there. It was probably a one-off thing!

Great spot on Haight st. You order at the counter and then food came out fairly quick. It's fine and simple inside but felt like it could be cleaner. I tried the salmon Cobb and was delicious. Salad and all ingredients were fresh, salmon was good sized, also fresh and warm. I love how there was a big lemon slice for the salad and fish. The vinaigrette was light and flavorful. I also appreciated the bread with the salad. Portions were all large and filling. Also tried the French onion soup and had good flavor and balance of ingredients. A solid spot for anyone to enjoy with lots of options on the menu.

Came to 1428 from a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint! There were so many options to choose from and everything we got was delicious. We sat outside on the covered patio, but they also have a large indoor seating area. You order at the register, and food was brought out promptly.
