I took my 2022 Honda 150 to the folks and I have to say they have earned my trust and my business. This is a very busy shop because of the quality of work they do and their attention to detail. I had a lot of questions for Bob and Erick and they answered them honestly and never looked at me like I was asking a foolish question. My boat was fixed way ahead of time and came in at a great price. The service here was awesome and the honesty and integrity that goes with all of this they have my business.

These guys are great!
Bob was the service writer I met with, he was very knowledgeable and upfront about the wait time and costs for the boat to get serviced
They exceeded my expectations getting the boat done 3 weeks ahead of schedule and the pricing was fair.
I will recommend Eagle Marine and Bob to all my nautical friends.

I must commend Gerald and Bob for stepping up and offering me a full refund. I know it took a while but better late than never. I really appreciate their offer. Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1May 8, 2021Previous reviewI own a 1996 14' Klamath with a 15 HP Johnson -steering wheel/electric start. I don't take it out much anymore so it sits most of the time. I do start it once every month or so. I began to have trouble getting it started. It would start, but took along time and a lot of cranking. It had never been this difficult before. I thought a tune up was in order. So, I called Eagle and spoke to Bob. Bob was most accommodating. He agreed to have me bring in on a Sat. when they are not normally open. I brought it in and Bob was there and we talked about the work to be done. I said I wanted a tune up and replace a couple of light bulbs on the marker lights on the trailer. I explained the hard starting problem. He said he was really busy and it might be a month before it would be ready. He also said it would be around $450 ($150 /hr - 3 hour inspection) to do the inspection and testing. I was in no hurry and said OK. So, one month later I call and Bob says they will get right on it (indicating they had done nothing in a month). He needed another week. So, he calls me a week later and goes into a litany of problems. Needs a new stator, plugs, carb work, leaky seals in lower end, no brake lights on trailer, the gears were stuck in reverse and a few other minor items. We were up to $1800 now. I was pretty surprised, especially since the plugs were new, I put them in about 3 months earlier because I thought it would help the hard starting problem. I said how much do I owe and he said it was almost $300. I said I would pick the boat up Sat. and do no more on the boat. I was pretty upset - $300 for what would turn out to be a misdiagnosis all around. I got down there and Bob, ever gracious, was there. We looked over the boat. He showed me how the boat was stuck in gear by being unable to move the prop. I turned the key over a few times and, voila !, no longer stuck. All the trailer lights (except the marker I asked to replace) worked fine, including the brakes lights. I never mentioned the plugs. I just told him to give me the bill, which he discounted to $274.00. Whoopee. I got the boat home, called up a friend who knows motors and he come over. He messed with it, tried to start it, went and pulled the cover on the motor, flipped up a little red switch and the motor fired right up. Seems the electric choke was not fully closing the choke so he used the manual choke. So, bottom line, I will not go back to Eagle. I am highly suspect of their operation.
It was a $274 lesson - so take my free advice - find another dealer.

Jeff K.Daly City, CA73Aug 18, 2022I would highly suggest avoiding this establishment. Took my Mercury Pro XS in for a job I was quoted $600 less at a dealership. Took it into Eagle due to limited availability. They had done one job for me a year prior and all was well and good. They performed a 3 hour diagnostic at a high labor fee then told us they spent 7 hours to fix the issue. The issue ended up being the air diaphragm, which multiple other mechanics told me was a 2 hour job at most. This place will milk you for labor at a high price to boot.
