East Bay Landscaping was incredible. They came in to do a complete landscape transformation that only took them 4 days. Brand new sprinkler and drip system in the front yard along with a separate system in the back. Excavated the yard, laid top soil, installed bender board, laid over 2500 sqft of sod, planted 50 plants & trees, etc. Miguel is a true professional and his crew is hardworking, clean and respectful. Miguel was responsive, professional and so helpful when I reached out to him for a quote on installing a drip irrigation system in my mom's backyard garden! We had tried to install a system ourselves (which did not work well- whoops!), and he was clear and kind when he explained what we actually needed to effectively water all our raised beds.

You don't need to look any further for a landscaper. Miguel and his team are the one for you.

We hired East Bay Landscaping to completely redo our backyard. Our goal was to get rid of all the grass in order to have more entertaining space and to stop all of the mud we were getting every winter.

I contacted 20 landscapers on Yelp, heard back and received quotes from 8 of them. Miguel was the lowest quote and the most professionally presented quote. He was prompt in responding to my request, he showed up on time, and then took measurements and went back to his truck. Fifteen minutes later he knocks on the door to let me know my quote was ready to review. No other company gave me a quote during the appointment, let alone the same day.

He estimated the timeline for work, which was half the time of all other estimates (and he stuck to it) - and in the end, his quote was the exact price we paid when all was said and done.

We continued to add things throughout the project and Miguel was happy to provide me reasonable costs for the additions and complete the work in a timely manner.

His team works HARD. Every single day. Morning to sundown. Saturday, Sunday. Doesn't matter. Treat them well as they deserve it. If you're comfortable speaking Spanish, or using a translator, they will be happy to hear specifics if you have something you want done differently etc.

They work incredibly clean. The job site was always cleaned before they left for the day and they are respectful to try and put things out of the way for you while they're gone.

They do quality work. These guys take pride in their work and it shows in the photos. While they are an affordable option, you're not losing out on any quality with them. Quality materials and no cutting corners.

TLDR: Hire them. You'll be happy. Your wallet will be happy. Your friends and family will want to hire them after seeing their work.

Miguel and his whole crew are absolutely wonderful - knowledgable, flexible, responsive and very easy to work with. And on top of that, the work was absolutely beautiful. We had a drainage system put in, including a channel drain + connecting downspouts to an underground pipe, and removing a full concrete walkway and replacing it with pavers on both the walkway and 2 flights of stairs. We could not be happier and will be using Miguel again for sure.

We saw his crew actually across the street from us at a neighbor's yard doing work and the neighbor recommended them for the hard work, showing up on time with a large crew, quick and clean work and affordability.

We got Miguel to do some landscaping for us, removing debris and demoing some concrete as well as leveling and installing French drains around our property and they did a superb job - all high end work for a great price.

We just had the rains and the french drains held up and there were no leakages - we might have them come back to install more on the other side where we had not replaced the drainage and the water came into our crawl space because of that. Had we known, we would have had Miguel do that as well last time he was here.
