When EC Tree Service was grinding the stump of a tree they removed, their equipment ran into a water riser that neither of us were aware of. They went above and beyond in getting my system back in working order. Given how small this project was, I was very impressed by their professionalism and their dedication to doing things the right way. I'm very grateful to have found this company and will be reaching out to them again the next time I need help with my trees.

I was hiring the EC Tree Service crew for a third time as I was happy with the quality of their work and customer service!

First time the crew took care of my 5 large redwood trees, second time they trimmed a large oak despite complexity of work in between tight spaces that are prone to damage, and during the third time they did excellent job of removing the poison oak that have been covering about 800sf (yikes) and did outstanding job of doing a general cleanup of the backyard.

Elmer did a great job educating me on potential (liability) pitfalls of trimming trees that belong to neighbors but overhang my property. Knowing that this company is licensed and insured helped me gain confidence that if such liability cases occur, they will be able to handle it. Also that helped me maintain healthy relationships with my neighbor when I discussed the need to trim their tree overhanging my property.

Since we recently replaced our lawns and trees, we figured it would be a good time to prune the heritage oak tree in our backyard, especially with the El Nino forecast.

EC Tree Service was professional, market-priced, and provided timely responses.

I am first off thankful to Yelp to let me kickoff a project bid request - due to the extreme storms big branches from our birch trees fell memoir neighbor's canopy/ gazebo and this was a sign to us that we needed to take care of it.

We got a bid through Yelp from 5 Arborists and zeroed in on EC Tree Service due to the thoroughness and reasonableness of their bid. Initially the bid covered tree trimming for 5 trees and tree cutting and grinding for 2 trees however on the day of the tree cutting Elmer's foreperson said there was a 3rd dead tree that we were better off removing. They spent a Friday evening trimming the live trees and cutting down 3 dead trees.

A different team came out the week after to grind down the stumps. Overall we are extremely happy with the end results and Elmer was on top of the project every step of the way - every time there is yet another freak storm in the Bay Area I am super grateful I trusted my gut and went with Elmer's business - you should too, you won't regret it !!!
