David Gonsalez of ECO Energy and an assistant came to my home to repair a heating duct and then clean all the ducts attached to our furnace. He was courteous and very professional. The work took several hours and I am very satisfied with the results. I value the fact that there won't be odors when we turn the heat on next falland the air will be clean.

Update: We smelled a dead rodent in our house, (WORST STENCH EVER! ) and asked Helen at the office if she could squeeze us in for a trap check the next day -- it wasn't easy but she made it happen! (Thanks again, Helen! )
The Tech found a big rat in the attic trap, sanitized the area and checked to be sure there were no new entries since they blocked them all on 7/30.)
And due to Eco Energy's 3-Year Warranty, the appointment was free! (But I had to tip the Tech for doing such an awesome job! ) Eco Energy is the BEST!

I checked on Yelp for a company that could handle a rodent situation and reached out in a general sense for support. Eco Energy Bay Area was one of the first to respond and set up an appointment that same week.

I have to say I was very impressed with each individual that I have met from this company, starting with Dan for the initial appointment, then David and his crew for the hands on day of support and finally to the 3-week follow-up with Brandon. Each one of these individuals treated me and my home with the utmost respect.

I am very pleased with the job they did and the care they took to make sure that I was comfortable and that the problem was resolved. I highly recommend this company!

At the beginning of the year, we reached out to Eco Energy Bay area to have them come inspect the crawl space underneath our home for a possible rodent infestation. They were very responsive and had someone out to the house within a few days to do a thorough inspection. At that time, it was determined that there was no road infestation detected and that we were in the all clear.

Last week, I discovered significant rodent feces underneath the house, prompting me to reach out to several companies for inspection. It has now been determined that we do in fact have a rodent infestation with rats, and that this problem has clearly persisted for 8 to 12 months prior and should have been caught by Eco Bay when they did their inspection.

Now the damage is significantly worse and the cost to repair will be much higher. For this reason, I would not recommend this company because they clearly did not do a thorough inspection, and their inability to catch this is now going to cost us more money to fix the problem.

I have posted several photos below to show some of the damage that has occurred since we had Eco Bay come to our house, including destroying one of our dryer vents underneath the house.

As a first time home owner, it was pretty overwhelming to choose a right insulation installation service. My house is old and doesn't come with any insulation. So I requested a quote from eco energy bay area and Rami came for the inspection. He did notice my windows were old and he recommended not to do wall insulation until I fixed those windows first and he quoted me for both attic and crawlspace (walls for the future reference) as well. I took a while to respond back until I did more research and I finally chose this company. And I am happy that I did a right choice. The team took 4 days to finish my whole house ( Yes I decided to do wall insulation as well). I want to thank all the members who came for the service because they are professionals and willing to listen to us. Rami was very responsive throughout the project.

I especially want to thank Antonio since his patching on the walls is fantastic and holes are unnoticeable after the patching. (that was my biggest concern) He was willing to listen to what I want and he's happy to do it. Now, my house is much warmer and cozier due to the team! Thank you!!

Came bye for a free estimate and gave me numbers within an hour for cleaning up after rodents in the attic and crawlspace and laying new R-38 insulation to meet the federal tax credit requirements. They did the cleaning, sealed up all gaps with wire mesh or foam, and placed the new insulation. Great work!
