I can't even say enough about how happy and thankful I am. Why didn't I call years ago?! (Because I was worried about cost and my cat.) I requested removal of a large wasp at my house. They came out in a timely manner and satisfactorily addressed this problem.

This winter and spring we were overrun with a large population of mice in our yard and garden area, which EcoGuard was very helpful with treating.
We then had a problem with carpenter ants that got inside our living room ceiling and were nesting there. This was not an easy problem to solve, and it took EcoGuard four visits to finally get them eradicated. They were extremely knowledgeable about the problem, always very prompt, efficient, and nice in responding to my questions and concerns, and overall did an excellent job for a very reasonable cost. They are now doing quarterly maintenance and surveillance at our house. I highly recommend them.

I contacted this pest control company on July 11th to service my 13-room property for a cockroach problem. One of the rooms was heavily infested, and I needed preventative treatment for the rest. The representative assured me that a technician would be on-site Monday and ready to start the service on Tuesday. However, they failed to schedule the appointment properly, and I had to call them to squeeze us in.

1st Service - July 16th: Two technicians arrived but forgot the foggers, which were crucial for the treatment. They only had chemicals on hand, despite my tenants clearing out their rooms for hours. This was after I gave them ample notice on July 11th.

2nd Service - July 18th: They came back to fog the place but, again, only used chemical treatments. No fogging was done as originally promised.

3rd Service - July 26th: Despite repeated treatments, the cockroach problem persisted and even spread to previously unaffected rooms.

4th Service - August 9th: I called them again because the issue was still unresolved. The technician only serviced 3 rooms instead of all 13 that I paid for.

5th Service - August 20th: The technician sprayed all the rooms and assured us this would be the last treatment needed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

As of August 27th, the cockroach infestation has spread to two more rooms, and the problem has only worsened. We never received the treatment that was initially promised, particularly the fogging, which was forgotten and never done.

We paid $3,600 for 13 rooms, expecting a thorough and effective service. Instead, we got half-hearted attempts that failed to resolve the issue, causing the problem to grow even larger. I had to constantly call to get a specific timeframe for their visits because we are a business with residents who can't just vacate their rooms on a whim. The lack of proper communication, failure to perform the agreed-upon treatments, and overall poor service make it clear that this company is not reliable.

I would not recommend their services to anyone. For the high price we paid, we deserved much better, and it's extremely frustrating to still be dealing with the same problem after so many visits.

After posting my initial two-star review, the owner of the company reached out to me directly. I appreciated the gesture and the refund that was provided, which prompted me to update my rating to three stars.

However, while the refund was a nice gesture, it doesn't fully make up for the poor service and lack of follow-through. The team didn't follow the instructions I provided and did a subpar job overall. The fact that the owner had to intervene to resolve the situation indicates there are deeper issues within the company that need addressing, particularly in terms of staff training and customer service.

Now, I'm struggling with whether or not to raise my rating further. While the owner's actions were commendable, does that justify a higher rating when the initial service was so disappointing? It's a tough call, especially in an era where social media can sometimes feel like it's driven by compensation rather than honest feedback.

For now, I've settled on three stars--it reflects the resolution I received but also acknowledges the need for significant improvements in their service.

We've had ongoing ant issues in our home for the past few months that are past resolution with our own spraying and traps. I recently looked for a quote for pest control through Yelp and Ecoguard was one of the first to respond. They were very easy to talk to and the scheduling coordinator offered me the best possible deal ($249 for a one-time treatment). He was super friendly and funny. This was reassuring, as a pest issue is stressful.

They were able to schedule me next-day, which was a huge relief at the ants were becoming an increasing issue. Torrence arrived at our house and taught us everything we needed to know about ants (and more). He went above and beyond ensuring our pet was safe and even started cleaning spider webs along our house and garbage cans when he was done spraying for ants. He encouraged us to call back if we experienced any more ant issues within the next 30 days, as Ecoguard would come re-spray for free. Overall we had a great experience and I will utilize them again for any pest issues!

The recent heat wave pushed ants to infest my home. They came from cracks in the house looking for water and food. Daughter and I deep cleaned the kitchen and bathroom with vinegar spray. Daughter said we have too much food/crumbs to feed the ants! So I guess it was a blessing in disguise for us to clean up. But to no avail, the ants would not go away. We decided to call the professional for a spray. Used Yelp Projects to easily get 4 quotes quickly. I choose EcoGuard based on their price of a single visit and next day availability. 30 days later and still no ants. I call that a success.

Very unsatisfied with their work.

First guy noted that he did more work that was actually done.

Still had rodent issues tearing up the ventilation.

Second guy was confused while doing a check up because the first guy lied on the notes. Then just said he will be back to check the traps.

Had the ventilation replaced and got torn up again.

Third guy was the manager. He did okay but still not the best.

FOURTH guy was the regional manager and actually went under the home and tried to seal up some openings with wire.

Fifth guy game and did a check up and said he would come back to collect the traps but never did.

Had the ventilation replaced again.
Got torn up again.

Devon was amazing!! Super punctual and so genuine! He helped me wit my pest needs and even mentioned some preventive measures I could take to prevent further breakouts. He is the type of pest control technician people need! Thank you Devon! You are truly amazing!
