We need more businesses like this in the community! I have not had to have my car repaired in SF yet, but I walk by Eddy's almost everyday and the owner is extremely friendly and kind. After running my stroller over dog poop, I was cleaning it off on the corner and he came out with cleaning supplies and offered to hose it down. Looking into the garage, he clearly has a passion for what he does and keeps the shop in pristine condition.

I stumbled onto this little hidden gem of an auto shop as a result of getting swindled by a Honda dealership that was attempting to over-charge me for a side mirror repair. I was fortunate enough to get Eddy on the phone and he "guessed" the price that the dealer quoted me and basically unpacked their code words for service and installation for me.

The damage to my car was traumatizing enough but from the ashes of this trauma, I found a reputable, skilled and friendly auto repair mechanic near my home - what a blessing. Eddy is a diamond in the rough. He quoted me a reasonable rate for the repair and then proceeded to go above and beyond the call of duty by buffing out some of the scratches from the initial damage.

Went in for an oil change and full inspection. The owner Eddy was very pleasant and friendly. I don't know much about cars but I know mine was in good hands during its 2.5 hours service. It cost me $181 which I think is a good price. I'll definitely come back for my next maintenance check.

Eddy is the definition of a top tier mechanic. Some auto shops have a bad rep of making their customers feel swindled, but Eddy is the opposite of that. As a 24 year old woman, I have never felt more respected, educated, and informed when it comes to my car than I have in conversations with Eddy. He's also so fair! His pricing always makes sense and he is always more than happy to answer any questions I have. I recommend him to everyone I know that has a car in San Francisco!

- given a quick & reliable general tune up
- replaced a headlight
- replaced all 4 spark plugs & coils (in 2 days!!!)
- given me his honest thoughts on a hub cap & a broken trunk piece
- has made my 2013 car feel new again after spending a year in steep Nob Hill!

I went to Eddy for a big oil leak and he could hear by how my engine was running that I needed some oil immediately. He took my car in on a Friday and got it back to me on a Monday just as good as new for a great price. I would recommend Eddy to anyone in the area to help with your car needs. Eddy is one of the most friendly and knowledgable mechanics in the area. Being a small business owner, he works on your vehicle with care and meticulousness as if it was his own. Eddy helped me out with a fuel pump issue on my car, I was in and out quickly with a fix. I will send any friends his way going forward!

I took our SUV in to fix an oil leak and Eddy was quick and very detailed getting the issue identified and resolved for a reasonable price. I would definitely take my car back again for any future service and also recommend him to anyone looking for a great local garage. It's great to work with the owner directly which I think is rare.

My parked car was hit by another car. Smashed window, dents, non functioning door and no note. Eddy made the frustrating situation as positive and smooth as it could be. He was attentive, responsive and patient with the insurance issues.
He is so friendly and easy to reach. I could tell that he had to do a lot behind the scenes (insurance does not make this process easy!). I'm going to Eddy for all of my car issues going forward. He's the best.

My car had some fuel issues and wasn't sure what was happening when it wasn't turning on. I had remembered their was a friendly looking auto shop just around the corner from where I was living. It was crucial for me to get my car turned on asap because I had a very important test to take outside of the city that afternoon. I took a chance and went to Eddy's Auto shop for some help. Eddy was very friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable with the work he does. I didn't feel like I was getting taken advantage of being a woman walking into a auto shop with not a clue about cars. Eddy was able to fit me into his daily busy schedule & realized right away what was going on with my car!! With his help I was able to take my test that day & I even passed!! I couldn't be happier with the service Eddy provided with my vehicle. I would highly recommend his shop & business to other friends who drive in the city. Thank you so much!!

My fiancé's grandmother went to Eddy's for years. So we took a chance and am so glad we did. He was honest, fair, did excellent quick work. So happy we have a safe, dependable place to go for our car needs. Great business!!
