Ed's Plumbing & Repairs

I live out of state yet own a rental in Napa. The house was having plumbing issues, water was slow draining and backing up in the tub and washing machine, my tenant was becoming very concerned. I called a few local plumbers and Darren with ED"S PLUMBING & REPAIR was the first to respond in a timely manner. I explained the problem best I could being I don't live at the property, he was patient and understanding, took it upon himself to speak with my tenant and setting up a time the following day to address the problem. He showed up at the time that was arranged, resolved the problems efficiently and even took time to be sure all drains were running clear. He followed thru by calling me with details and full explanations along with arrangements for billing even though I'm out of state. He was fair, clean, knowledgeable and personable. I'd highly recommend Darren at ED's PLUMBING and REPAIRS.

Faced with a backed up sewer line in my *ahem* vintage house, I had exhausted my capabilities with no luck, admitted defeat, and started looking for a good plumber. I gave Ed's a call quite literally at the close of business hours and left a message. Darren called me back within minutes, in spite of the hour, asked about the problem, and set up an appointment for first thing in the morning.

Darren was able to adeptly clear the sewer line in question very quickly, and was incredibly kind, professional, and generally wonderful to work with. His rates are more than reasonable, and he has definitely added a repeat customer at this house. If you're looking for a plumber in the Napa area, give Darren a call; you'll be happy you did!

My go-to plumber was unavailable for an urgent job cleaning out a clogged line, and Darren (the owner) picked up when I called and was over within an hour. He was able to confirm my understanding of the issue, and get it resolved.

Because Ed's Plumbing just does service calls, he was also able to help point me in the right direction for some other plumbing projects that we need done aroud the house in the coming year.

Darren was great! He arrived within the parameters that he gave me and, based upon the information that I gave him, knew what to do. He went right to work, completed the job quickly, thoroughly, and charged me a "fair market price". I'll be calling this company again for future needs!

Absolutely impeccable service. I just moved to a new house, and there's a lot of little repairs that I need to get done, but I have no contacts in the area. I took a chance and called Ed's Plumbing.

I called this morning and got a call back within an hour, and got it scheduled for Friday morning. Then, just a few hours later, Darren called back and offered to come by today before heading home.

He arrived quickly and was friendly and professional, he even said hi to my cat. Darren was efficient and got my two sinks unclogged in maybe 10 minutes!

Please keep in mind that Darren takes only cash or check. I had my checkbook on hand, so that wasn't a problem for me at all.

After this visit, Ed's Plumbing is going into my box of repair companies for the future. I wouldn't hesitate to call again!

We didn't end up using Darren for our project but I was impressed with his responsiveness and candidness. We had a sewer line issue on a Sunday, and he was reachable, and steered us the right direction to get the Napa Sanitation District involved. Had he come out to help resolve it, his prices per hour were more competitive than we were seeing at the "big" napa plumbing shops. After we found out we need to do some larger repair work, he provided candid and very valuable referrals to get us setup. I will happily reach out to next time we have a job to Darren.

This is a local guy who is straightforward, affordable, prompt and efficient. Not for emergencies or
Mega-jobs but, perfect for get-down-to-it maintenance and repair.

My kitchen sink backed up- this was the second time in 3 years. Darren fixed it both times. He's quick, thorough, very clear on explaining what happened.

This second visit was during the SHELTER IN PLACE. I SO appreciated him asking if I had been exposed, showed symptoms, etc, before he came & wore a mask a gloves while he was there.
