Yes, I will begin by saying that obviously we are in SF and not SoCal of any sorts, so the Mexican food we find here is of course not the same quality or yumminess that we can find back home (or down south for those who aren't natives). But....when you have no other choices or options around you, then El Burrito Express 2 is now my #1 choice for a friggen burrito when I'm craving one, which is like at least 3 times a week. YAY!!!! I mean really...TH is not Mexican food. And it's also a douchebag meat market, which takes away from whatever quality food it is that they have there. (I want to gag right now just thinking of that hell hole down the street) And I have yet to try Ocean Taqueria next door, but at noon on a Monday while EBE2 is packed, Ocean Taqueria was completely empty, so I think I will pass on that option. La Salsa...I want to laugh at La Salsa. EWWWWWW!!!!! I'd rather never eat Mexican food again, then to eat that crap. So my vote for the lower pac heights peeps who can't get their butts over to the mission or pretty much anywhere without losing their parking spot and are craving burrtios...go here! I wish they had chimichangas, but pickers can't be choosers, right?

Have to go for the bajacal burrito. Shrimp and fries married into a burrito, with rice and avocado. Always super fresh and delicious.

I want to give this location more stars but I cannot. I love EBX but I've had issues with this location before.. A manager has reached out and rectified the situation, treating me to a fix and letting me know it will not happen again. I am very appreciative of their kindness..

I chalked it up to staff maybe having a bad day, no big deal, took down any negative review. But then tried the same order two more times at this same location and received it wrong, again, twice.

I regularly frequent the ebx on taraval and they never get my order wrong. If you're looking for solid Mexican food, I recommend the drive over to the sunset. The best burrito in the city.

Pretty solid burrito spot in lower pac heights! I was craving a cali burrito and usually hit up El Farolito or Underdogs but I wanted to try something different.

I ordered El NorCal burrito which had some perfectly charred carne asada, onion, fries, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico, and salsa. The burrito was a pretty decent size (almost two servings if I wasn't super hungry.) The flavors balanced each other out nicely and the burrito wasn't dry, which can happen in some cali-style burritos because of the fries. Their chips and salsa were also bomb--fresh, thick, and crunchy--but not super oily (I wish I grabbed more before I left).

As for the restaurant itself, the interior was clean, there was good seating, and the staff were pretty friendly. There is also lots of street parking. I will definitely be back to try other options!

I had another appointment at UCSF this morning so decided to drop in El Burrito Express at 11;45 am. The lunch crowd was steadily coming in. There were only a few tables open for dine in.

My first time trying El Burrito Express and I liked that they had a lot of options on the menu.

I ordered the El Burrito large with carnitas. The carnitas were mushy and not crispy at all. This was a bit disappointing. They blended in with the refried beans texture.

Sad that only the green salsa was available. But the chips were light and made in house.

A lot of seating but during prime lunch hour it gets busy it seems.

Came here on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. We were served immediately and the food was so good! We got chips and guac and I got a carne asada wet burrito. It was so filling and delicious; it was only $15 and could definitely feed me for 2-3 meals. The chips and guac was a fantastic deal as well; they gave us a huge tub of guac and chips for only $6.50! This is definitely a stable burrito place for Lower Pac Heights and I'll definitely be here again :)

The norcal burrito is amazing! Kinda pricey but the burrito itself is extremely long so its worth it. Expresso sauce is great. Just wish the cheese was a bit more melted but other than that, its an amazing cute little restaurant

went here before a concert at the Fillmore! It was so cute inside, a nice chill vibe to sit and chat with my friend while having a nice meal! The service was amazing, the woman at the front knew exactly what I wanted before I did, from an extra plate to some good salsa! The food was pretty good, i definitely go back!

Reasonable prices, good quality and choice of sizes for burritos. Courteous service, clean place, including a very clean bathroom.

My bf likes this place and I think the flavors and textures are not bad, but everything is way too salty.
I like their version of the salsa verde, it's a little smokier than other places.
I don't normally order chicken but I decided to try something new and the chicken burrito had nice big chunks and was pretty flavorful. Really if they just tone it down with the salt, it's a solid burrito.
Service for takeout was pretty fast and you get chips with your order.
