I can't say en about this place. there service cleaning , and alteration guy is just amazing.! I've lived in Alameda for 26 years and have gone to several places and this is the best place I've ever found and we'll stay with them forever.

This is the best cleaners that I have ever experienced. This business definitely believe in quality I had brought in a shirt that no other cleaner wanted to touch. The shirt that had many stains now looks brand new. Affordable prices that can turn any piece of clothing into looking brand new. So grateful for their service over the years. For anybody that needs clothing service. I highly recommend them!

They did a crappy job out of three things that I took in my silk blouse has white spots on a hot pink top and my silk jumper has a new stop that wasn't there and the olive color is discolored. The owner wanted to charge me for a terrible job and said are you trying to make an insurance claim. Is he forreal terrible service terrible job and would never recommend to take your cloth there $800 worth of cloth ruined by an idiot. I left and didn't pay and would never return taking my designer garments to them.

For context, let me start out by saying I screwed up. My wife had purchased a vintage dress and paid a pretty penny for it too.

I proceed to wash it, but didn't realize that it got mixed in with some dark clothing (the dress is mostly white and 100% cotton, Yikes!). Pulled it out of the wash and hung it to dry.

My wife was about to put it away when it dried and noticed dark streaks all over the dress. Man, was she upset and with good reason too! I take the dress and go around town looking for a cleaner that would be able to handle this issue.

The first cleaner I went to took a look at the dress and within a minute said that there was nothing they could do.

I proceed to Elegant Cleaners. I explained to Hamid, the owner, about the streaks in the dress and if there's anything he can do. He told me no promises but there was a process he'd like to try that might be able to remove the streaks. I leave the dress and prayed most of the streaks could be removed.

Picked up the dress today and I must say that Hamid is nothing short of a miracle worker! The streak are gone and the dress looks brand new! Hamid charged me a reasonable price for the service but in all honesty, I would have paid double for the great work he did. Thanks Hamid!

Elegant Cleaners on Webster ruined this shirt. As much as I'm laughing at the secret Spider Man print, it's still ruined. To top it off, the owner was very rude and does not want to pay for the damage and questioned my mother as to why she was acting like this (mad) after being a customer for at least a couple years now. (Ironically, after changing dry cleaners for the same reason - shirt damage.)
In any event - after questioning her as to why she's acting like this -
THE DUDE SAYS HE WILL TALK TO HER HUSBAND.
Thank you sexism. She can handle it. The owner of the shirt is not relevant.

First time went there and they damaged my cardigan but will not responsible. I will take him to small claim court and this stupid Iranian threat me to sue me for this time to bring my sweater to him (what a joke? From his answer to show how stupid this man is! He offer a service and want to sue me for using his service?). Please never used his service ever unless you want to have your beautiful clothes to be a rag like the owner of this laundry service. Elegant laundry what a joke, more likely a peasant laundry.

I called many local cleaners to get my sweaters cleaned and Elegant was about 40% less than the other places. They were also very nice people. I'm taking some ripped pants in get sewed up next.

Elegant Cleaners is run by a wonderfully kind, nice, and funny man named Hamid. He's fantastic.

I use Elegant Cleaners for the following reasons:

(1) At $1.50 per pound, Elegant Cleaners has the cheapest wash & fold in Alameda.

(2) Elegant Cleaners is open six (6!) days per week during the COVID crisis.

(3) The wash & fold service is exceptionally high quality.

(4) The wash & fold service is quick.

(5) Hamid weights your clothes honestly and accurately. He uses a scale and weights them when you bring the clothes in.

(6) There's always parking right out front, like 15' away.

(7) Hamid is just a nice person.

If you are in a hurry to get something, Hamid will take the time to give you a call when your stuff is ready. This type of extra step is so appreciated.
