Details: Penny & Colette are outstanding!!! Penny truly made suggestions that caught us by surprise and that's not easy to do. We had several contractors talk with us and Penny blew them out of the water with her creativity and her team's thoroughness. Then the work started and Colette was amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. Colette as a project manager and contractor was outstanding. Peter & John did amazing work and we really felt comfortable with the quality of the work they did and the level of professionalism they showed through all aspects of the job. Penny and Colette are simply a phenomenal team. They were like my fairy god-mothers, transforming our once simple and empty house into an impressive and eye catching home. We wanted our interiors to be decorated in an elegant yet comfortable fashion, while having a short time period to do so before the holiday rush of entertaining family and guests. I contacted Penny about a small kitchen problem we had with our oven range and counter tops. She was very prompt in getting back to me, professional and knowledgeable. She gave me very good advice on the options I had and spent time walking me through them even though it was just an initial call. I wish we had worked with Penny when we remodeled our house 4 years ago.

I live in Northern California and needed to have a lot of work done in both my master and guest baths. I had absolutely no idea where to begin, so I started looking for a contractor on Yelp with very high ratings. I found Elements in Design and was initially "wowed" by the numerous five stars that Penny had accummulated. I have to tell you, though, the five stars are no exaggeration. Elements in Design is worth every single star, and if I could give Penny even more, I would do it in a heartbeat!

Penny has it all - a contractor's license, a degree in interior design - and best of all, she's a delight to work with. So is Penny's assistant, Colette. Both are responsive, easy to reach by either e-mail or phone, and they have a way of making each client feel as if s/he is their most important customer.

I needed a lot of assistance in picking out tile and vanities and countertop materials, etc., and Penny and Colette were there to help. They even took me shopping, which could not have been an easy feat for them, since I hate to shop. I hate to shop for anything -- much less for materials about which I know absolutely nothing -- but Penny and Colette made the excursions fun! They were able, when I wasn't, to find just the right items for both baths, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Like Penny and Colette, John (who does the installations) and Rick (who does the fabrications) are true professionals. Their work is precise and done in a timely fashion; and this is the first time I have ever worked with a contractor who was able to pinpoint the date that a job would end and stick with it. No excuses, no delays. Penny and Colette knew how long the work would take, and their prediction was on the money.
