    • Q:

      Is there parking available?

      A:

No parking. You'll have to pay for your own at the Salesforce building around the block on Fremont St. Alternatively if you're a monthly parker at 333 Market, you can park your car at that garage.

Out of all the EQX in the city, I'd have to say Beale street is the nicest, most spacious in terms of layout and not as crowded. To be fair, the capacity has changed a lot since the pandemic, but I love it.

There's a fireplace and comfy seating in the lobby with work desks and outlets. Perfect place to work pre or post workout. All the equipment feels new even though it's been here for a few years. The locker rooms are clean and very updated, again, not really expecting anything less of EQX standards.

The only downside with this location is parking, no valet and very limited street parking. Pro tip; if you drive, come early or in the evening after 6pm for free street parking.

What an experience! Came here the other day for a cycling class and had a wonderful time with friends!

The gym is so clean and has a very elite feeling vibe. The bathrooms are so clean that I felt comfortable walking barefoot!

The staff were all very friendly and I felt like I got a solid workout in. Only complaint was that I had a hard time hearing the cycling instructor because his mic was fuzzy.

I used the steam room and shower after and the products were sooooo good!!

If I could afford it, I'd definitely have a membership just because of all the perks

This gym is clean and the equipment is nice. But the ENTIRE floor moves like crazy if you run on the treadmill while anyone else is running- to the point that it is unsafe and makes me feel dizzy. The treadmill itself glitches and can't count the seconds bc it is moving so much. Also the steam just straight up isn't hot you could sit in there for hours and not break a sweat. Both issues are not subtle, I'm confused why the owners don't notice and fix them

Place was clean and with the expected amenities. One of the manager (bald, built guy) is a total asshole and walks around like he is king of the place. I stepped into a room for 2 seconds as I received one of the worst news and he knocked aggressively and interrupted me to get the hell out as this was not a working place. I was not working nor was my intention to step into an open room in violation of any policy.

Kindness and decency goes a long way so be careful before you spend your money to be treated like you paid $32 a month.

I recently joined Equinox on Beale St and have been extremely disappointed with my experience thus far. The water fountains have been consistently out of order, making it difficult to stay hydrated during my workouts. Additionally, the showers are always cold and the hours are terrible, making it difficult to fit my workout schedule into my day. Not only that, but some of the equipment was broken and unsafe, which is a huge concern for me as a member.

Given how expensive the membership is, I find it unacceptable that basic amenities such as functioning water fountains and warm showers, as well as safe equipment, are not being properly maintained. I have brought these issues to the attention of the staff multiple times and yet, nothing has been done to rectify the situation. Overall, I would not recommend this location to anyone and I am currently looking for a new gym.

      Broken equipment - dangerous
      Broken water fountain - great

I've been a long time equinox member and went to its clubs all across America (LA, NYC, SF, Miami, etc.). This Equinox was by far one of the nicest I have visited. The locker rooms are very clean, trainers very knowledgeable, and staff always warm and welcoming (special shoutout to Chris Karl!). I strongly recommend joining

Needed to check my phone using an internet connection and saw the Equniox showroom. Since I'm a member I stopped in. A welcomed surprise to see Christopher, the GM from the Berkeley Club and Ally from membership at the Pine St location. They are part of the new team at this fabulous gym.

I don't know when the Beale St Club opens, but I'll have to find out The management is solid! Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Aren't you?

I debated joining Equinox for a few months and then decided to join Beale street and haven't regretted it. The facility is always so clean (the cleaning staff are kind and always around), the classes are great, a good variety of equipment is always available (eucalyptus steam room and towels are the cherry on top) and the staff are incredible. MJ at the front desk greets me by name and the manager Chris is always attentive and present. Great customer service. This place is worth the money!
