Visited gyms around the area and by far this takes the cake!

Had a very detailed first time visit orientation with one of the Advisors, Art R. He knew a lot and made sure I had all the information I needed.

This place is probably one of the most unique and gorgeous gyms I've been to. The layout was spacious, so easy to get around, highly functional and had all the equipment I needed.

The best part that made it more amazing is the amount and the variety of group classes they offered throughout the week! So many!

The vibe at this location is probably the best out of the bay area locations. I may be personally biased because this is my "home" gym but I have to say that not only does the staff just kill it here, the towels are always stocked and it doesn't get as crowded as some of the other locations.

Overall, all of the personal trainers are killer but shout out to Bela for keeping me on my toes! Also to Art for walking me through the a
whole onboarding process. Again, the staff here are very knowledgeable, apt, and friendly. From the moment you walk in, you're taken care of.

Theft. Pure theft. When you go into this place just know they're going to study you to see if you have money or not. It's not classy like they're trying to be and you feel this scarcity vibe amongst the workers because they're always competing to be the most popular trainers. I'm a gym rat and so I decided I'd try this place out but quickly learned that if you come to do your own thing that you're put on the bottom of the totem pole for membership priorities. Just because I'm independent and want to train myself doesn't mean you get to treat your brand new member like an issue. Hope ya'll leave SF for good there's no room for sharks in the bay anymore.

Equinox stole almost $2k from me. It was for a personal training package which I did not want. I did not use any of the sessions in this package so I was told by two separate equinox employees that these funds would be refunded to me. It is now two months later, and they have stopped responding to my messages and emails, and no refund. I am going to get legal involved at this point.

The pool regularly breaks down and is out of commission for weeks at a time. Moreover, I've regularly shown up to the pool and had to go, since they don't notify people ahead of time.

Since I only joined for the pool, this has been unfortunate.

I've asked them to make it up to me twice now and they haven't. They just recommend a location that's further away.

For the price point, I'm surprised the customer service has been poor. I was really looking forward to being part of the gym. Once my year is up, I'll have to reconsider if it's worth it.

I'm bummed. They're super responsive and awesome during the sales process. Unfortunately, that stops when you become a member.

I used to have a good experience here, but now they're closed all the time. I tried on a Friday evening just after 7 pm -- closed. Just came to work out on a Saturday afternoon, and they're closed all day. Don't bother spending the exorbitant membership fee -- you'll never be able to use it.

One extra star because the front desk employees, teachers and trainers are great. Corporate is just a joke.

Kylie started me out with a modest workout and nutritional plan. Over the next sixty days, rain or shine, I showed up and followed Kylie's coaching. Each week we progressed adding more challenging fitness. I go to the gym everyday, both here and in Berkeley.

Today, eight pounds lighter, more muscle mass, increased energy, and a happier lifestyle. Aspire to be better.

Basically the highest rates around. Your money goes to marketing. The returns are marginal, nothing in the way of equipment that can't be found at SF Fitness.
Sydney was the only professional I ever came across - credit to her. The staff - a band of incompetent misfits. Dont expect any white glove treatment here. Staff doesn't make any effort unless you are buying additional packages.
I recommend Bay Club if you work in DT SF.

Equinox Pine needs to update their time schedule, I travelled halfway across the city to workout here at 8:15 pm, arrived at 8:45 pm , it's a Monday night and 8:48 pm and they said they closed at 9pm and on Google it said 10 pm. They declined my entry at the door and made me feel horrible. I have nothing but good intentions for the people that work here, but today on Monday night they made me feel like a loser. I feel they treated me so unfairly. I am not happy with this location.
