This is actually a Tim Horton's disguised as a gas station. The real prize is the Double Double. They have a selection of timbits and donuts, as well as the regular food menu.
Tourists and poor people: The ATM here is the only one for a number of blocks that take Mastercard/Maestro cash advances.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brad M.SoMa, San Francisco, CA01Nov 25, 2021
I got a flat tire on my bicycle at 4:00 a.m. it's been $10 on a cab ride to come to Essoon Broward and Davie Street in Vancouver BC, which is the closest station around when trying to use the air pump it would not accept any change due to the fact that it is jammed and the coin slot nor would it accept my tap card which I called and confirmed with my bank was active and working properly there's no button on it to push and I was told by several people that to ask the staff inside and they can turn it on when I did they were very unpleasant and told me to go away this is wrong, no?
It is now 4:35 I'm soaking wet cold have several ways to pay but I'm not even being allowed in the store now I have not made a fuss than anything wrong or sworn or anything I'm being unfairly treated .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2017
I'm only giving this gas station two stars because of its convenient location (I think this is the only gas station remaining in the downtown Vancouver core) and because the gas pumps worked. Other than these two facts, this station really tanked (no pun intended).
The gal working the counter could not have been any slower in serving customers if she tried. Despite the long line of people waiting to be helped (and the line was ever growing, too), this lady was SO slow, as if she was moving in slow motion at times, and acted....numbed in her affectation to customers. Like, she didn't care to be there, and she didn't care who knew it. It was if it was a major endeavor to take the bills from each customer and slowly, ever so slowly, check each one out, arrange them in order in some way (turning some to face upwards), and then slowly put each one in the till. And the line of customers was getting longer and longer. Didn't matter. The place could be on fire and this lady would be slowly arranging the dollar bills..... Argh.
Finally it was my turn at the counter. I asked to put "x" amount of gas in my car and informed her which pump I was at. And since there were posted signs everywhere advertising a few candy bar with fill-up, I also brought a candy bar with me. She said the candy was only free with 30L fill up. I asked if $35 of gas would qualify, and she said she didn't know, I'd have to fill up my car and come back with the receipt (waiting in this crazy slow line again? WTH?). What kind of half-ass promotion is this?
(I decided to forget about this "free" chocolate bar. I probably don't need it, anyhow. Still, the principal of the matter irks me....).
Horrible customer service and horrible "promotional" advertising.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenneth N.Richmond, Canada2297676910023Feb 10, 2015Updated review
Convenient location off the Burrard bridge, though best to turn into alley first, especially during rush hour.
Good size for dt, 8 pumps with even full serve closest to the doors.
Timmys inside
Open 24 hrs. Royal bank atm.
Friendly service.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 2, 2013Previous reviewIt's kind of ironic, you want to go to fill gas at a busy, convenient one except here---just too many pedestrians walking, j-walking, taking their time strolling. Esp. with the buses coming to a stop, as you could be stuck blocking a lane.
Average size convenience store, with a half-timmy's inside, the only reason to come here. - Max F.Central Vancouver, Vancouver, Canada06Nov 20, 2020
One of the few essential business that actually is enforcing the mask mandate. Thanks for keeping me safe!

It's an average wash for its type. Any wash, whether touchless or brush, never do the same job as a proper hand wash.
Anyway, my only issue is the dry cycle at the end. It's so strong that my car body make a noise as if it's getting bent from the pressure and then getting bent back (I hope!). I think it's the roof. I'm now looking for a place without so much hot air.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shawn L.San Francisco, CA01Jun 28, 2017
absolutely the worst of the worst! Even one star makes me ill. Twice now I have been here and had the utmost worst service! They close down the store to mop and clean @ 6am lock the doors for 15 mins and tell people to come back!! WTF.... they even turned people away that wanted gas cause they were mopping!!! why don't you clean before you open. the Tim Hortons is a joke too. The service is bad, the staff... so rude! I will never go to a Tim Hortons again because of it. Honestly stay away from this place!

They recently updated their Credit card machines on the pumps and you have to insert the car with the black strip facing to the right.
Also keep it in for a few seconds more. The readers, as I've been told by the clerk inside is slow and AMEX doesn't work even though they say they accept it.
You call that an update?
Not very good in my opinion.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Shila B.Vancouver, Canada17512858734May 12, 2015Updated review
Came here on April 25th to fill gas at $1.27 per L = $53.92. Washroom was out of order at the time, therefore, had to take a pee in the back of my car in a paper cup = not awesome, especially since it was already late in the day between sites. Self serve pump.

It smelt nice rather than stale urine as in other stations. The guy at the til was super friendly.

Want a funnel for your oil? Use a piece of paper. Want a paper towel to check your oil? Bring your own. These guys have rotten service.
