Came here to fill up and get a car wash. The pump never asked me if I wanted a car wash, I went inside to get a car wash ticket as it says "free if we don't ask" the lady inside charged me for the car wash. After waiting in line for 15min to get a car wash as my car has dirt on it from highway driving a guy from the store came out me and told me the car wash would not clean my car as it's "too dirty" and I "can't complain when it's not clean" I asked him what's the point of the car wash if it can't clean an average amount of dirt? Save yourself time and money and never come here.

Went in because the map said it was a tim hortons . The guy told me have coffee free since the mistake and I already went to two locations with the same problem . I told him it's 4 coffees though he tells me it's free since I'm late and wasted my time I make all the coffees he tells me one is free but I can see 4 coffees charged on the screen then I bought a sandwich too in my haste of a rush and on my way back to work the sandwich tastes old and it expired yesterday at noon and the coffees were gross not to mention the lid fell off in my car and spilt because the lids suck

Not a lot of automated car washes around anymore and I only know of three in and around Vancouver (Kits, Terminal Ave and this one). I desperately needed to wash my car. It hadn't been washed since a killer road trip to the Kootenays and back, then a camping trip to Deception Pass in Washington. My car was sticky and it showed a gruesome murder scene (r.i.p. the millions of bugs I killed). I didn't feel like driving all the way to Kits, so I tried the one here.

They have two prices: one if you fueled up and one if you didn't which was $2 more. I chose the medium price as I didn't want wax on my car (which is the most expensive one) and went through the car wash. It was ok. I prefer the one at Kits better. The one at Kits did a better job of washing my filthy car.

For the wash I received, I think the price should have been cheaper. It also felt a lot quicker than the one at Kits too. I'd come back in a pinch but would definitely be sticking to the one at Kits as my regular place.

The Esso car wash at Granville St & West 41st Ave used to be one of the better automated facilities in Vancouver -- until the past year. I typically purchase the "full wash" and noticed that the consistency of the "soap" seems to be gradually becoming less, well, "soapy". Today's wash cycle was also shorter and left plenty of spots on the windows that it looked like the windows were never washed.

Now one might think, "what do you expect for $13.99 (plus taxes) at an automated car wash?" However, the car should still be noticeably cleaner even at that price point.

No doubt a busy location with people speeding up/down granville to get to or leaving the Arthur Liang bridge.

also find it's kinda squishy between pumps.

Prefer the Shell kitty-corner, nicer and brighter, less busy/pumps.

Gas was $1.21 which was a shock enough and the buttons on my self serve pump wasn't working at the moment. It wasn't reading my card and rather than a simple fill up option it wanted me to pre-determine the amount in my tank which was weird. Hose didn't stretch that far either.

I went here for a car wash, and thought all was good. The next morning when I looked at my car I noticed that it was still very dusty and some words that were written in the dirt were still there. I went back to the Esso station and asked the attendant what they could do for me. The manager came and told me that since it is the next day, they don't know if the car wasn't cleaned well or maybe I drove somewhere and got it dirty. They absolutely refused to even go outside and look at the car. What happened to the customer is always right? Wouldn't it be worth your while to make the customer happy and give another car wash for free ($12 value!)? I will certainly not be patronizing this station again. Way to lose a repeat customer over $12.

      First to Review

I bought the regular wash. (there is not much to it - just soap and high pressure water). When I drove out of I saw that most of my white car had a noticeable thin film of dirt still on it. When I went inside to inform the staff and to see if they might rewash it they told me that they would only rewash if I bought the premium package. The person on staff was less than interested to hear my opinion that a when buying any car wash you might expect to have your car basically clean.
So if you are going to go here pay for the extra wash ($10+) to protect yourself or just don't bother.
