Tacos Walnut Creek has stolen my heart! From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the stunning ambiance - spacious seating, bold colors, and an open kitchen where the magic happens. The atmosphere is electric, making me feel like I'm in a vibrant Mexican fiesta! The only thing i would love to see is more art work, possibly a new mural or something to represent. I know of a few artist that can help with that

The staff is always warm and welcoming, attentive to our needs and questions. They make us feel like family! And the food? Absolutely divine! We've tried everything on the menu, and each dish is a flavorful masterpiece. Happy hour is a must-try, with incredible deals on authentic Mexican cuisine.

If you're craving the real deal, look no further than Tacos Walnut Creek. This gem has it all - atmosphere, service, and mouthwatering food that will leave you wanting more. Five stars isn't enough; I'd give it ten if I could! ¡Viva Tacos Walnut Creek!

Love the open kitchen. Service was fast and simple. You order at the register, then you are given a number to take to whichever table you'd like to sit at. The place felt clean.

Came here for the open chips and salsa bar! It was the highlight! No complaints there, only praise. They fry their own tortilla chips!

The first time I came here, I really liked the carne asada grande quesadilla. Perfect blend of flavors! It was massive though and I took half to-go. I would order this again 10/10

The second time I stopped by, I went on Taco Tuesday so I had to order their special (3 tacos + an agua fresca for $10)! I got 2 pork and 1 beef taco to try. Good pricing but the taco meat was a little bit dry. I also tried my friend's mixed fajita plate and the steak/ shrimp was also dry. Maybe it was just a bad day for the grill...

For drinks: After trying a taste of each, I felt like their agua frescas are a bit watered down, especially the horchata. But with the dry meat, I was glad to have a refreshment to help!

...I still want to try their specialty, Carne en Su Jugo and I'd for sure come back for their quesadilla/chips&salsa bar!

If you're considering eating here because you saw some fancy, spruced up Instagram reel telling you to come eat here, DON'T DO IT. Unless you like bland food. . .

My husband and I came here and tried the following items:
      - Oakland A's Burrito (steak)
      - Street Tacos (steak)
      - Red Enchiladas (chicken)
      - Rice and Beans
      - Horchata

The only thing that was halfway decent was the rice and beans. Everything else lacked so much flavor. Even the steak and chicken were extremely dry. But what was sad is that the chicken was dark meat! (Which is very forgiving). I guess the chicken was out of f*cks to give.

The green enchilada sauce on my husband's burrito was extremely disappointing to say the least. No flavor. No salt. Tasted like the tomatillos were maybe getting old before they made the sauce.

I forgot to mention that we tried some of their salsas. The pico de gallo was plain. Again no salt. Not sure what they have against a little salt. There was even a 10 year old at another table dousing his chips in salt. The green salsa was disgusting. And the red one was spicy, but decent.

Horchata didn't taste homemade but it was cool.

      Overall, don't bother.

Great spot at the corner of Locust in Walnut Creek. Order first then sit. They have enough seats to accommodate customers who come and go. The food comes out fairly fast so the tables clear quickly.

Loved the pastor tacos Jalisco style! The fish taco was also pretty good. Carnitas crispy taco was decent.

We ordered the guava margaritas. I enjoyed the tamarindo/tajin rim. The drink was delicious! Just wish it had a bit more tequila though.

Beans were good. Rice was kind of dry. Lots of salsas to choose from at the chips station.

Clean restaurant. Clean bathroom. Friendly service and staff.

Really quite delicious tacos Al Pastor. Try it Jalisco style (pineapple and onions). Closest to my favorite place in Vegas (Tacos El Gordo). I had 2 and 2 Asada as well. The Asada was tasty but I've had better. Very friendly staff, extensive menu, free chips and tasty salsa. The pink habanero salsa was interesting. Not hot but tart. Will definitely be back to try more. My family enjoyed the atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge.

Ordered to go here for the first time and sadly didn't get the right order. I ordered two diablo burritos with grilled chicken and received one with carne asada. :( Thankfully, my fiancé ate it because my grandma doesn't eat red meat. I got the 4 tacos dorados with carne asada and they were good. I really enjoyed my meal I just wish we got what we ordered. Also, the guac didn't come with a lot of chips. The guac was delicious though!

Me and my family love this place to death!!! The chips are very fresh and taste crispy and beautiful! The salsas are unique and flavorful, and don't even forget about the incredible tenderness of every meat. Along with this, great service and great prices! Would recommend for anybody with a spicy craving in downtown Walnut Creek!

Met up with a friend here for lunch, and they were surprisingly pretty quiet inside. The interior is spacious, with quite a few indoor seating available. There is also a parklet setup outside if outdoor seating is more your thing.

Opted for tacos due to the store's namesake, and they definitely did not disappoint. Only ordered two tacos since it was suppose to be a quick lunch, but was most certainly hungry for more after wolfing them both down. Free chips and salsa are available at an unassuming looking salsa bar in the corner. The chips however were surprisingly quite crispy and crunchy, and I made sure to go back for seconds.

Was definitely impressed and look forward to coming back again soon!
