Excellence Landscape

Jose and his crews did a great job on our backyard project. We had the large yard reconstructed with pavers and had a retaining wall moved. We quoted 6 companies which went from less expensive to wildly expensive. Jose came out multiple time to make sure we had the scope of the project the way we wanted, unlike another company that got the whole idea wrong. He brought out a partner company, who would eventually do the excavation, to review to make sure his estimate was accurate. Jose worked with us on the project to find the material that would be the look we wanted, of great quality, and fit in our budget.

Jose had different crews out for different parts of the project which is the right way to do it. It felt like he had the right expertise do the different parts of the job rather than the jack of all trades do a mediocre job. Excavation, deconstruction and removal, pavers, cutting stone, debris removal, tree work were all different people. And, they were all supervised and did very nice work. The best were the guys doing quality work on the wall and pavers. We even ended up doing the driveway. Jose went shopping with us and dealt with the shop so we didn't have to deal with any rude customer service to one-time customers. He answered many, many questions as we stayed hands on with our project.

I highly recommend these guys, this company, and, most importantly, Jose who gave our job very personal service and a high quality of workmanship.

Jose and his crews were amazing. Very professional, kind, and prices were very reasonable. They showed up on time, and finished the project in a timely manner. The project was to get rid of our grass area and place pavers and artificial turf. Their work looks amazing. I have no complain at all. Highly recommend them to others.

Jose and Max did a great job on our yard and came in to save the day after we started our own landscaping project. They did a sprinkler system, lawn, and pavers for us. Jose and Max worked quickly, and were very reasonable priced. They checked in on the grass three weeks later and communicated very well with us through the entire process. Only thing is the pavers were layed out in an inconsistent pattern. Nobody would notice except for me, and I wasnt there the day they layed them out so its really on me.

I have a regularly scheduled service for both the lawn service as well a tree removal. there is nothing i can complain about. as both are done effectively and completely whether or not i'm at home. We look forward to use the service all summer long. thanks.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the job Excellence Landscaping did to beautify our front yard. The few bushes we had were stressed by the drought, our expansive front lawn had died from the drought, and our driveway and walkway were old and cracked. We decided to do a complete make-over of our front yard and talked to three different landscape companies. We decided on Excellence Landscaping because they were very responsive, had great ideas for what could be done and were reasonably priced. Selecting Excellence Lanscaping proved to be the right decision. They constructed a very attractive retaining wall that has attracted the attention of neighbors, installed papers for our driveway and walkway, and prepared the yard for drought-resistant plantings, including gopher wire, weed screening, a drip irrigation system and decorative rock. What impressed us the most is Jose and Max were on-site working every day, along with 1-2 employees, and finished the job on time and without relying on subcontractors. We highly recommend Excellence Landscaping!

My backyard was starting to look like a small jungle after leaving the weeds unattended for a little too long. Excellence Landscape made my yard look amazing so I can lounge in the backyard without needing a machete. The online portal for billing and scheduling is extra convenient too!

Jose the business owner just threatened me and called me a scammer. He also goes my Fabricio F on Yelp. There are two owners by the way, Jose and Max. Jose the owner sent me a private message as well as the one he posted here. I kindly called him back and he got so angry with me and he said I will have consequences for my review. (I will make a police incident report) Please be careful when you are dealing with this landscaping company. Max and Jose are both owners/partners. In my original review I never stated they were bad people. Just the grass was poorly put in and thousands of dollars went to waste. I am now afraid of what will happen because of my HONEST review after the way he acted on the phone. Yelp needs to watch him as well.

I wanted to get landscape lighting done in my front yard after seeing how lovely it was in our backyard. Excellence responded to my call quickly, came out and helped me develop a plan, sent a proposal via email and got the work done seamlessly. Very reasonable pricing, super nice and friendly. Loved that I could text them rather than have to call them when needed--very efficient. Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again in the future.
