F&S Fireplace Systems

Our outdoor fire pit hasn't been working for a while and I hired F&S & they did an excellent job at diagnosing the problem and quickly fixed the issue! Kevin, their worked arrived early, stayed longer than I expected, but was being diligent in properly diagnosing the issue. He was very professional & if I ever have a fireplace or outdoor fire pit problem, I wouldn't hesitate to call F&S back! Great Job!

This company was very thorough! Arrived on time. They were very clean and professional. They instructed me about proper wood use and recommended a fan to distribute heat better.
I was very pleased with their service and would recommend them . I was able to pay upon completion at site also.

They showed up on time to replace our old fireplace insert with a newer unit. The installation fee was a flat $650.

They did not want to replace the steel piping that runs from the fireplace insert to the top of the chimney, claiming it was "like new." When my family member insisted they do the full installation they were charging us for, since they were not discounting the labor at all and the new parts were ready to go, one of the installers reluctantly agreed and then told my family member he had "better shuttup." The replacement of these pipes, which were over 20 years old, only took 20 minutes.

After the installation, I observed the fireplace was not level. They assured me it was just because the screen was not seated in its tongue and groove fitting on the insert correctly (which would have been their mistake). I asked them to come and fix it via email and it has been over a month without a reply.

The fireplace was not level because they left a gas fitting wedged in between the tile hearth and fireplace insert. See photo.

It's surprisingly challenging to find a vendor who will service a fireplace that they didn't install, but that's where F&S Fireplace Systems comes in. They were easy to get a hold of (I called and left a voicemail, to which they returned my call within the timeframe their vmail message said they would) professional and communicated well. Kevin helped us fix our gas fireplace that would randomly ignite without the switch being used and he was able to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem. They offer a 6 month service guarantee, which is great. Highly recommend. We will definitely be using them again for upcoming maintenance!

Kevin just came in and fixed our gas fireplace. Fast friendly and efficient, plus he worked us into his busy holiday schedule a week early on a cancellation. We would use F&S again.
