Family Affair Moving

Moving day is always challenging, but Family Affairs moving was incredible. The care they showed in handling all items and specifically a few of our antiques made the day less stressful. Joe, Manny, Oscar and Dillinger were professional, courteous and helpful.

We used family affair a few months ago to move into a shorter term rental and these guys were fantastic. We got several quotes for our 4 bedroom house and they had the great ratings plus a very competitive price. and They sent a team of 5 and all 5 guys were super respectful, friendly and extremely helpful. Desmond, Abi, Joe, Dillinger and James all made our move as easy as can be. We were behind on packing since we spent the day before in the ER with our son but they made sure everything was taken care of so we could focus on our son. They asked a ton of questions to make the whole move a very smooth transition. We will definitely be calling them again.

The team arrived on time, professional, and ready to work! I greatly appreciated that! As the team worked, they pointed out existing damage to furniture and any appliances that we were moving, so that we both were aware of existing damage. I felt that was very professional and very upfront and honest.

That being said none of my items were damaged in any way whatsoever was amazed at the teams, awareness and skill in packing furniture tables dressers, so well as to not get damaged.

The team worked well and they communicated well together. They were a solid team and very efficient. Both my wife and I are very pleased with our experience at Family Affair moving, and wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5L O L they were that good!

We were in a rush to find a mover and really had no recommendations to go off of, so we used Yelp and had about 6 quick replies. I picked Family Affair Moving because their reply was very detailed and even gave the dates of when they were available.
I talked with Darlene and she arranged for the pick up and delivery. Before the pick up we realized that some of the larger pieces would have to be taken to the dump, and Darlene arranged for that too at a very reasonable price.

On the day of the move Ryan, John and Mario made quick time of wrapping and moving out the furniture and items with great care.
Upon arriving to the delivery location, they moved the pieces in and did it efficiently with a smile on their face! These 3 men are hard workers, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them for your next moving project!

I would give 10 stars if I could! The best ever movers!

1. Showed up on time exactly at 8am as promised.
2. Put liners everywhere including the stairs to prevent soiling.
3. Shrink wrapped everything.
4. Polite, clean, profession but personable and friendly.
5. Efficient and got the job done. No loafing trying to run up the clock.
6. Worked through lunch.
7. New HOA wanted movers to be there at noon and they got there exactly on time.
8. We had a 9x6 feet painting that was too big for elevator or stairs. I said leave it in the garage; they passed it up my ladder to the balcony to the house. Painting was where we wanted it when I turned around.
9. No uncomfortable dance at the end pandering for tips like so many others - had to stop them to thank them for a job well done not do it as an obligation.
10. Cost effective and reasonable.

Excellent, excellent service!!! The three movers (Desmond, Tyrone, and Abi) were very prompt, pleasant, professional, and efficient! They called and gave us a heads up on their ETA. Excellent in communicating the walkthrough before and after the move. The inside of the truck was very clean and organized! They were very well prepared (with tools and materials... yay for the door stopper). I was pleasantly surprised when they used a tarp to protect our floor/carpet, which I haven't seen from other movers. They handled our furniture with care. The entire move was a stress free experience! We were very pleased with everything! Thank you Desmond, Tyrone and Abi! You're all awesome! I would definitely recommend!!!

Called a couple weeks ago to book a move of my storage unit in HB to Orange into a new storage unit closer to home. I was so pleased with Darlene who took all of my (what felt like 20) calls to sort out the kinks in my schedule because nothing is easy with two Littles.
I also had the pleasure of speaking with Rosie when she provided me with a courtesy reminder. Today two absolute gentleman arrived and tackled the situation with grace and patience and care. Ryan and Aaron fully earned our respect and future business. The cost was worth every penny but not expensive as you may think, it was very reasonable. These guys were honest and had their stuff together and know how to drive too! Thank you Family Affair but mostly, thank you Ryan and Aaron!

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for using family affair moving! We were moving from Orange County back to Los Angeles and we had so much to move!

Brian, Mike, and John came in on time and truly provided us with VIP service! Even helping us carry small things that we did not write down! They were beyond helpful, took great care of all our items, and even helped us reassemble and rearrange them to our liking! They were extremely friendly and honestly they were very well priced for how much they moved!

We are so glad that we used FAM and we will be using them again in the near future when we need more items to be moved. I highly recommend FAM for all your moving needs!

I was so worried about my heavy adjustable bed frame and mounted TV's but they took care of everything and made sure everything worked before they left. You will not be disappointed if you use them.
