Family Laundry

If you're looking for a laundry service provider who is responsive, has an easy to use app for tracking your order, use drivers that follow all instructions you provide them, and are just all around great at providing kind customer service, then I strongly recommend Family Laundry!
As I write this review, I continue to be in shock at how easy and less stressful Family Laundry has made laundry for me. I sought them out originally because the laundry machines in my apartment complex were out of order due to coin theft/vandalism, the landlord was not sure when the machines would be back in order, and I was anxious about having to spend all day in the laundromat. Eric, one of the staff, was immediately responsive to my questions, had a great sense of humor about the whole thing which put me at ease, and walked me through all that needed to be done, which wasn't much. The driver arrived during the window I signed up for (I even received a text when they were 15 minutes away), and the drivers followed the instructions I left to call when they arrived (both for pickup and delivery). Moreover, the quality of the laundry when it came back to me was stellar! All I had to do was put the clothes away and it is a far cry from the time it took to do my laundry. I feel they have given me so many countless hours back in my life and my only regret is that I didn't do this sooner! Thank you Family Laundry! You have earned a customer!

Great service for same day or next day wash and fold. Everything came back clean and neatly folded so I can easily put the clothes away.

It is no understatement to say Family Laundry has saved my sanity these past few years. Booking is easy, text alerts are helpful, service is 5/5 stars.

For the time and energy I would be taking to go to laundromat, home pick up and delivery is absolutely worth it to me---especially for large items or when the workout clothing gets out of control. I appreciate you, Family Laundry!

Lifesaver. Gamechanger. Legit.

We had a broken leg in our house and that plus kid plus primary parent down is a whole lot of mess. By the time the dust had settled and all was back to normal could I have spent two days of my life digging out the laundry mountain? Yes. Would that be the best use of my time? Um. Probably not. Happy to be in the phase of my life where a wash, fold + pickup and delivery is within reach!

The app is super convenient. Laundry scheduled. Laundry picked up. Laundry dropped back off same day. One less thing to do on the neverending thing list!

Their giftcard option is tucked away in their FAQ but it also seems like the ideal gift for someone about to have a baby. Or recently dealing with an injury or illness or whatnot. Wish this was on my radar years ago!

Family Laundry is a fantastic find for anyone in need of convenient and reliable laundry services. Located close to my workplace, it was incredibly convenient to drop off my laundry. They also offer pickup and delivery services, which adds to the overall convenience. The service is very quick and efficient, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend Family Laundry for their excellent service and convenience.

Excellent, honest service and I if I am not happy they make sure that I am satisfied. I referred a friend who has cancer and lives in a 3 flight walk-up, over 2 years ago. He is also very pleased.

This is the best Laundry Mat I found in Oakland. I never been greeted by a friendly staff and offered a free 20 dollar gift card for being new. Thank you Family laundry. I will tell all my friend, and continue doing business with you. This company values their customers. Right when we needed it the most. I will bring my kids back to play in the kids area too thank you.

We returned from a 2 week overseas trip and had heard good things about Family Laundry. What an understatement! We gave them a try and were so pleased, decided to go with their subscription service ... and we're only 2 senior adults ... but have 4 cats and a terrier pup.

I want to commend Lili in particular for her patience in answering all my questions via chat/email and being so patient, friendly and understanding. She was awesome! John and Luis were also helpful. Working w/Lili made everything about FL a breeze and we have decided to continue our service with them.

Sending laundry out is a new experience for us and I must say, it's saved us a lot of time, esp. now that I'm busy as a care partner for my hubs who's no longer driving and has had Parkinson's for 12+ years. With subscription service, PU/drop off is no charge and oxyclean is free. It's a lux service to send laundry out, but I feel the value is very much worthwhile.

FL also washes pet bedding, rags, etc. I try to put them in a separate bag from our personal items and they are always returned the same way. So far, directions are followed - i.e., request they pair the sock, not ball them, etc. I love it!

All the employees have been great! Polite, going the extra care. Very professional. would recommend them highly.

If you lack time, have money and would like to skip the laundromat.. well this is your spot! Download the app, schedule a pick up and delivery. Leave dirties in trash bags on your front porch or hand them over directly to them and wait until delivery. They will fold and place them neatly in their own blue bags that you can reuse for your next pick up.

The only thing is I like to add softer or fragrance to my clothes but they use non fragrant detergents which can be great for some. I haven't asked if I can stick my own softener in the bags.
