Famous Burgers & Brew

As soon as I left Famous Burgers and Brew, I could not wait to tell more people about it. The guacamole burger I got was soooo good. The sweet potato fries tasted so fresh and perfectly seasoned.
This is a hidden gem in Rancho Cordova. I am so glad I found it on yelp and the positive reviews did not disappoint. I could not have a beer when I went a few days ago, but I cannot wait to go back and try a drink with my next burger.
On this last visit, there appeared to be a large business party there enjoying just the bar. I was impressed that the service was quick and accommodating to that large party when they needed refills on their drinks.

We've been to Famous Burgers a few times now. It's a tad expensive for a "burgers and fries" meal for 2 people, $45-50. I really enjoy the malts, so that does tick the price up a bit.
The burgers are good, albeit they feel a bit heavy. They've been a bit hit or miss with the cook on the burgers. My last was more well done, so a bit drier than I'd prefer. The fries are just ok, they could stand to be cut thicker. We much prefer the onion rings. We really enjoyed the onion rings.
I'm a creature of habit and always just get a burger. My wife has enjoyed the cheeseburger and she really liked the seared ahi tuna salad.
We'll continue to go back, but at that price it will be when we want to splurge for "burgers and fries".

The price increased makes me think twice now before coming here. The burger was just so good knowing it was $10 but now that it cost me almost $50 for 2 burgers and fries - it just doesn't taste as good haha

I've stopped in a few times now and every visit I've been greeted by friendly staff. I've only done takeout, but each time they've had my order ready quickly and packed well for the drive home. They have also always offered me a cup for a drink/water while I wait.

I've been trying to order different menu items each time I visit and so far every burger has been delicious. I also loved their onion rings.

I still need to try some non-burger options, but they offer sandwiches and salads.

They have indoor and outdoor dining available and you can order up at the counter and then find a seat. They have a great selection of beers on tap and I've been meaning to try one of their milkshakes.

They also have plenty of parking available, so it's easy to stop by with a group or for some quick takeout.

I travel for a living and visit Rancho Cordova quarterly, when I say the food and service here is unmatchable is an understatement!! I eat here almost all week while I'm here the employees and ambiance is amazing!! Highly recommend to everyone in town! Check this place out I highly recommend!

What a shnazzy burger spot. High-ceiling interior with hanging lights and leather booth seating. It's like something you'd find in downtown or old town Sac, not in an office plaza in Rancho Cordova. :p

Anyway, the burgers here.....sheeeesh. They're hefty alright. Juicy beef patty! Highly recommend the western bacon burger, which is crunch-tastic from the onion rings and bacon in it.

Also, sweet potato fries with actual crispiness.....say what?? Usually I'm pretty meh on sweet potato fries but I actually enjoyed the ones here. On the flip side, the garlic fries are ironically sweet-potato-fries-esque in that they have a sad floppiness to them. Great garlic flavor though.

Very friendly staff. Smiles from the cashier lady and even a gentleman, who I believe is the manager, walked right up behind the counter to greet me.

Overall I'd say it's worth the drive from Sac to check out this burger spot!

I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. All I can say is I am glad we did! The burgers were packed with flavor and fries were hot and yummy! Next time I will share a burger since they were huge but they are sooo good and prices were reasonable. Also had a couple beers which complimented the flavors of a good meal. They did have a shortage of ingredients on a lot of their menu items but it didn't affect our lunch. Service was great too! I would come back for sure.

On top of the food being perfect every time, I love that every time I go inside to pick up my food, I feel so welcome as the guys always greet me with warm smiles. I don't eat burgers often, but when I crave one, this is my go to spot. I highly recommend!!

Definitely top 2 burger joint in the Sacramento Region. Always quick, consistent, kind service from the owner and employees. I ordered the Western Burger while my buddy ordered the Famous Burger. Both were delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection. I've tried other burgers like the Aloha and the Kobe beef burgers and they were fantastic as well. Rest assured that anything you order here won't disappoint!
