I have got to say everything about the sales, onboarding and building is top tier! Kimberly was very warm and helpful throughout the process. Concierge team made it such a soft landing.

This review is for the tour with Jason. I didn't decide to rent here ultimately due to a slightly better deal at another building but I wish I had. Jason was personable, helpful, and prompt. Due to a recent career change I was looking for a place close to the office that I could treat myself to... meaning they have amenities and safety features I'd always wanted. The building is pristine, gorgeous, and very classy. The residents seemed to be professional and happy. Noise wise the pool was on the top of the building which helps with noise considerably vs in the center. It also had an equinox inside the building, plenty of places to work, and coffee available at all times. It was a dream! While I didn't make the move last year, I'm sure I'll be reaching out again. If you're comparing luxury buildings in sf, this one is not to be overlooked: :)

Do NOT move here! While this may resemble a luxury apartment building, living here is akin to residing in a 3-star motel. If you're considering using the amenities, think again. Every weekend, large groups of children run around the pool area, frequently jumping into both the pool and Jacuzzi, making relaxation impossible. During holidays, these groups also dominate the amenities on the 40th floor. There is no hope to enjoy Fourth of July fireworks from Fifteen-fifty.
The building has let go of its experienced leasing associates; the new associates become rude once you've signed the lease.
If you still wish to move here, I'll list some pros:
Pros:
Feel free to invite 20 people over every weekend without needing to book amenities.
Walking distance to the metro.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ann S.San Francisco, CA0244May 4, 2024
This review is for Kimberly! I had an appointment with her and from confirming the appointment through the tour she was super helpful. I was not ready to commit but after our tour I did! So happy with my choice and all thanks to Kimberly!

Does not adhere to SF housing laws. I had a stalker move into the same building and they refused to honor lease break.

Hi Han, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words about Fifteen Fifty! We're thrilled you had such a positive experience touring the building. We can't wait to welcome you home.
Jan 14, 2021Previous reviewMerely saying 'I was impressed with Christina Ruiz' (one of the agents) would be an understatement; Christina was so empathetic and impressive that I really believe she was the main reason I decided to sign. She really went above and beyond to find my dream home, even though we had been going back and forth for months (due to my own lack of urgency). I truly find her professionalism and passion inspiring all around.
Related has made really phenomenal hires for this development, and I'm very much looking forward to my move-in. - Ally C.San Jose, CA05434May 2, 2024
Not a good experience with Kimberly. We drove over an hour and a half to see her and she turned us away. She wouldn't even come and talk to us in person. We waited in the lobby over 20 mins. Terrible hospitality.

Touring the place with Jason from the leasing office was the highlight of our apartment search! He was fair, gave his honest opinion and worked on accommodating our (many) requests. Honestly, you will find every other leasing agent you work with lacking. He also lives in the building and isn't pushy or annoying.
If you're on the lookout for a nice building with amazing amenities, fair prices and you want to work with someone who feels more like a friend than an annoying salesperson, check out Fifteen Fifty and ask to work with Jason Sypult from the leasing office. Hurry because I'm sure that other apartment buildings are trying to hire him away!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Edit: Magically hours after I posted this review, I received a voicemail and email informing me that the deposit was overnighted and delivered late last week (just shy of 60 days post move-out). My new mailroom doesn't notify me for every delivery, so it would have been nice if I had received the tracking info beforehand. But at least I was able to successfully find the envelope. Glad to be done with this 2 month saga!

Fifteen fifty would get five stars for my living experience here. This is truly the nicest apartment building I've lived in - excellent amenities, nice staff, and minimal issues with mail/maintenance.
Unfortunately, it has been over 60 days now since I moved out and still no sign of the security deposit.
They were initially going to deduct $585 for routine cleaning/painting of a two bedroom. After I notified them that it was illegal to charge for reasonable wear and tear, they said they would prorate the painting fees.
After 21 days passed and no word, we reached out to ask about the deposit status. They replied they were working on it. After 30 days passed, we checked in again. They said they would no longer deduct any of the cleaning, only the remaining utilities.
I offered to pick up the check in person, but they don't issue checks on site. While I understand the additional complexity of going through an outside party, I firmly believe it's the leasing office's job to be proactive about following up on the status, rather than us having to reach out weekly. Related Companies is also a large property management company, and they should know the rental laws better.
It's over 60 days now. So what's the deal?Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0 - Jordan B.San Francisco, CA1991915Mar 2, 2021
...There's no place like home, and I've never lived anywhere like FifteenFifty.
Pool and hot tub? Check?
19inch deep tubs in the bathrooms? Check. Appliances camouflaged to look like cabinets? Check.
Neat little workstation with automatic coffee maker so you can work from home without feeling trapped in your apartment because the entire world is on pandemic lockdown and your office has to be vacated? Check.
Friendly staff to greet you when you get home? Check.
We moved in before most of the amenities were available after a tour from Jason Sypult, who is among the more lovely humans you are likely to meet in SF. I'd say that means we got less of an experience of living here, but the quality of our living space is so high that we were able to find ways to treat living here like being on a cruise ship. YouTube Yoga in the living room? You bet. Yoga in the park (did you know there's a park "in" the building?) and yoga in one of the empty Penthouses absolutely happened. When we could have folks visit (when CoViD tiers allowed), we made sure to take them to the penthouse club and deck because the views are spectacular.
Being able to just walk into Hayes Valley or the Mission from here to enjoy the closed street days has been a godsend (like shore leave at a port). Parking in the protected garage below the building has been super easy, and this location makes getting to the highway or up to market street to get to the western and northern parts of the city super easy. Valet service in the garage is something I didn't know I wanted before I moved in.
At ground level, SF is SF. You will occasionally run into stuff that isn't safe or savory when you walk out the doors. That said, you have to walk outside to look up at this building to see how gorgeous it is. Nothing else in the city looks like FifteenFifty, and catching the angles off of it an sunset is a treat. If you don't spend any time at ground level, you won't get a chance to interact with the stellar concierge staff, who are among the most valuable aspects of living here. Also, it's SF, if you're here, then you're used to it by now.
Take a tour, see it for yourself. Or just drive up South Van Ness and gawk at it (we've watched people park to take pictures). Either way, great place to live.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

This is hands down the best luxury apartment rental property in San Francisco right now. The building is brand new (built in 2020), and you'll be able to tell right away as you tour the units there as everything is pristine. Not only do they have the newest units, but they also have the best leasing staff in town.
After having explored multiple luxury apartment buildings in San Francisco and being completely disappointed and deflated, I was about to give up before I stumbled upon Fifteen Fifty. I lucked out because the leasing agent there, Jason, picked up the phone when I called and everything took off from there. Jason offered to give me a tour almost immediately; thereafter, I had the most pleasant apartment tour experience of my entire life. Jason might be the best in the business...
Anyway, stop messing around touring other buildings. Go to Fifteen Fifty right away, book an appointment with Jason, and be done with it. You'll be glad you did.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
