First Class Yacht Sales

Instead of First Class Yacht Sales they should be called "Worst Class Yacht Sales"!

Found a boat online that we were interested in that was published both on their site as well a boattrader.com. We saw that they opened at 8AM on Saturday so called a little after 7 and left a message about our interest in the boat, by 8:30 we hadn't heard anything and called multiple times to all the numbers listed on their website. After not hearing back we decided to make the 2 hour drive out to the shop since we were serious buyers. Had cash in hand and everything.

After viewing their website we thought it was like any other boat shop, instead it ended up being a shack at the dock. We called several times before arriving and not a single call back. After arriving we kept calling still no answer.

Finally left, after 20 minutes back on the road the owner calls, we state how unhappy we were to drive all that way and not a single person was there nor did they answer any calls, his excuse was that they don't open until noon. When I pointed out that their website posts 8am and the sign on the door stated 8am he questioned me like he didn't even know what time they opened. How do you own a company, publish your hours and not even know what time you're open?

I just hung up on him. A few minutes later his son calls, again stating they don't open until noon, then has the nerve to say we should call first. Well buddy, we did. Both to the landline and the two cell numbers posted on their site!

We ask about the boat we saw advertised and he tells us then that it had been sold over a week and a half ago. What kind of business are they running? Post hours they don't know about, won't answer any of their four numbers listed, then leaves a boat sold on not just their site but another site as well? So not professional!!

These guys are Awesome I would Recommend them to anyone!

I have known Don and Nick for more than 6 years now and they are my go to repair/sales company. From major repowers on a 50' classic woody that no one would touch, to other major repairs and detailing. Now they offer sales and they are as good at that as repairs.

If you are looking to buy a boat/yacht this is the broker I would chose. Nick has been a marine mechanic for many years. Having a professional mechanic as your broker is worth more than gold. He can make most repairs prior or after the sale. They are full service. We have installed at least 5 engines together from small boats to my 50' classic. He catches things a surveyer will miss. His rates are very reasonable and he will go above and beyond to close a deal. Even driving many many miles to inspect and insure the boat your are interested in is not a cleaned up junker with nice pictures.

If you use another broker you will spend more money as he can do what you will be hiring sub contractors to do.

I can't say enough good about Nicks skills and experience. Also Don is a great owner manager, respectful and to the point.

Nick and Don are awesome guys. Recently purchased an older boat that needs its fair share of work. Nick outlined everything it needs, in a clear and concise way. Nick answered all the questions I had and was very flexible working with my budget. Very stand up guys, would definitely recommend.
