Fix Auto Alameda

I had a great experience at Alameda Collision Repair. The employees (I primarily worked with Kyle) were courteous, friendly, and honest. They quoted me almost $1000 less than another body shop and were much more personable and easy to work with than the other body shop. They sent me texts to update me on their progress and I was able to pick up my car after 5 days. They were able to fit me in for an estimate within a few days of me calling, and I was able to drop my car off several days after that. When I dropped of my car, I asked them to take a look at several other dings and they found a way to address them without charging me. When I picked up the car, they hadn't tidied up the dings so they did it right then and there. They explained several extra services I could come back for later, but when I explained that the car was a lease, they immediately said I didn't need to do the extra services. The owner (I assume? Didn't catch his name) walked around the car with my dad and I and discussed how I could get the most money back when I returned the lease.

Getting body work done is generally a hassle, but Alameda Collision Repair made the process as easy and streamlined as possible. They were communicative, friendly, and honest in their handlings. I never felt swindled because I was a woman. I did notice that when my dad came with me to pick up the car, they talked more to him than to me. I can't really blame them for that given how much of a presence my dad has, and I felt respected when I was the only representative for my car.

Hopefully I don't need any body work done in the future, but if I do, I would certainly bring my car back to Alameda Collision Repair!

The crew at Fix Auto provided excellent customer service and daily updates on my car's progress. They also worked directly with my insurance and made everything very easy on me, which was definitely appreciated. Highly recommend!

Ricky was hands down the best

Even though they haven't fully competed the repair due to a back order issue. I was overall pleased.

My first impression was not so good. They guy I first met wan kind of dismissive perhaps because I was a woman. Clearly he may have been the one to patch up my car muffler with an incorrect muffler.

Anyhow thank goodness I had the opportunity to work with Ricky. It was a respectful experience and my long term car with sentimental value felt like it was in good hands.

Today I just my car back after a month later. While I was waiting for someone to help me get my car. I notice a staff at the corner was vaping inside the building she did not notice that a customer I was watching her. This is not right for a staff be smoking/vaping inside the building.

After a few minutes later when I got my car I notice that my car was a mess inside. Didn't my item from inside was move around like the passenger seat was Leaning all the way back and some other items. My sister notice that there was a gallon of water in the back seat. I went back to the shop and spoke the person in charger. She ask me if the gallon of was mine . I said "no" I just got my car just 5 minutes car and did not notice this until my sister saw it. It seem like she did not care at all. Paint in my car was coming of from the front I show it to her and she told me this how the car came when I brought it in. She said " when a bird poops in your car and leave it for a long time the paint will wash off" I told her no this was not there when I brought the car to the shop I did not see this spot of the front of my car coming off" she them told me to come inside and she will show proof of picture that they took when they were fixing car.

I was not happy with the services of this shop never again coming here again. They told me it was going to take 2 to 3 weeks and they had all the parts ready for my car. But they never did it took a month a 2 days to get my car.

Worst customer service ever. Had an appointment set at 10am. Arrived exactly at 10am. The receptionist told us that the person who was going to help us was in a meeting. She advised us to sit in the waiting area and he would be with us shortly. We sat there for 40 minutes. We were not helped further and were not advised of anything. We had an appointment. We did not walk in. After 40 minutes, we got up and walked out. If you value your time, and want to do business with respectful companies, this is not the place.

I was in a car accident in January which resulted the other vehicle hitting my passenger rear end side. The damages were major (see below) and I was very, very impressed with the results of my vehicle. Fix Auto did an amazing job with repairs, paint color, and most importantly, keeping me updated with the timeline of my vehicle.

Shout out to Ricardo and the team for the amazing job they did on the vehicle. There was constant communication and it was worth the two month wait. It's like nothing ever happened to the vehicle.

Upon arrival, I was greeted, explained the repairs, and just an overall welcoming place. Below are before and after pictures of the work. Nothing like having your own vehicle again!

From start to finish excellent service. Made my appt through my insurance company. Arrived late but was met with a greeting from like two different people. Gio was personable, efficient and professional took pics of my damage and informed me I would get texts throughout the process. The communication was great! The repair was amazing plus the detail when I picked it up. I forget the name of the girl who took my payment but she was friendly and the guy at the end when I was getting my car back very friendly and professional.
I would definitely recommend the repairs and the customer service to family / friends!

I would like to take the time and give recognition to Fix auto, but specifically to Jennifer Sappington. I've been coming to fix auto for many years as I originally was referred to them by my insurance company. Jennifer has been my long time advisor/estimator, and whenever I am in need of any type of body work on my car, rather through insurance or just something I need done that's not Insurance related, she's always been my go to person. She's very kind and always makes time for me when I need help with an estimate. And the shop does amazing work, always looks as good as new. Fix auto truly has a great team, and to Jennifer thanks again for all your help over the years, it is always much appreciated!

Excellent and precise service.
Out of the bat they knew what to do just with our documents and identification they know what is the process with a couple of questions they want to know and you're set.
They're very good on communication and how your vehicle is doing.
The pick up process was simple and easy.
All they wanted to know was last name and model and make of car. I was not able to get her name but she knew her knowledge all the way through and without hesitation.
They have a deal with enterprise so you can just leave your rented car there and enterprise would pick it up and they complete the rental there for you as well.

Still waiting to hear back about the gas card JS said she would send to me??? It's been over a month now and not returning or responding to my emails or call..........

My experience with Fix Auto Alameda has been nothing but outstanding from start to finish. They have a modern spacious new facility located on Clement Street that is very well equipped and staffed. Ricky was my contact person, who is very professional , organized, friendly, an absolute pleasure to work with. He did the estimate for my honda fit which sustained damage due to collision with a Rav4 on the Nimitz. Damage was to my front bumper, hood, and internal framing and components, which was knocked out of alignment. They were very busy when i took my car in, but within a very reasonable time, Ricky had emailed back to me a detailed estimate item by item breakdown on parts, and labor that needed to be done. During the repair process, Ricky kept me well informed by text every couple days on the progress of the repair. Any delays due to parts availability or additonal damage found he relayed to me by text. I received my vehicle back yesterday as promised, and it looks as beautiful as the day i bought it back in 2016. Their work is absolutely first rate, the panel alignment especially around the hood and side panel is as straight as an arrow. One added advantage of their current location, is that they are located within two blocks of "Enterprise Rental Car" located on Blanding Ave. which makes it super convenient to pickup and dropoff my rental. I highly recommend this auto body shop, wish more establishments were run this well.
