Terrance can fix anything! We called FixEm for help with our leaking refrigerator, broken oven and broken dryer. The response time was quick, and the service was professional! Terrance diagnosed the problem with all three appliances and spent the morning at our house fixing each one. Thankfully he had the ignition replacement parts needed for our oven and two sensors needed to fix the dryer, so there was no wait time - everything was fixed on the spot. Our dryer was scary! After he pulled it apart, he showed us all the lint that had built up over the past 15+ years of use. He wore a mask the entire time following Covid protocols. I'm very thankful that we got such a knowledgeable, efficient, and kind service technician. I will use FixEm again and will happily refer their services to friends.

My Maytag washer stopped draining the other afternoon. I was referred to Fixem by Contra Costa Appliance. Fixem promptly answered the phone and was able for a late afternoon appointment. Terrance, the repairman, called ahead to say he would arrive in 30 minutes.
Following Covid-19 protocols, we both wore masks as showed him to the location of washer. He quickly assessed the situation and quickly cleaned out the pump of wet lint, coins and misc items. Retested the washer and good as new. Cleaned up the debris and signed out.

Another good Customer Service organization. I'm a tenant and recently in less than a week I needed a dryer repair, duct cleaning and plumbing services. Terrance was the guy from FixEm who came to our home to troubleshoot our broken Dryer. ROCKSTAR. He didn't try to BS us with extras or add ons. He explained what was going on how he would fix things and if we wanted to DIY he offered to tell us how.
We went with a Terrance on the repair instead of DIY and glad we did. we would have wasted a whole lot of time. The control board was toast. Terrance explained how we were very lucky that it didn't get much worse than it was. I would highly recommend this outfit.
Remember folks Duct Cleaning down stream of your dryer may seem like a hassle but it can save you a lot more time and money in the long run possibly your life if there is a fire.

A little premature to give such a rating, I have faith that this group knows their stuff! We have a 12 year plus, 6 burner Thermador cooktop that I damaged when I took my eye off of a pan of hot oil. The starters on two burners went on to click non stop and one wouldn't work at all. Could it be saved? Who to call? After checking for recommendations, I found several referrals including Yelp, Diamond certified and a few of my acquaintances to call FixEm Appliance,
Calls returned promptly and service was attentive, detailed and educational. The skilled technician that helped us out, Terrance, was indeed a good communicator as well as a heck of a nice guy. Calls were made to us to advise us when to expect him, and he arrived on time as promised. Terrance works diligently and clean, he gets to the problem efficiently, like only a pro can do. He could explain things so that we understood, both the bad news and the good. One of the owners, Nathan, came twice to check things over too, explaining the fine points. We have enjoyed this appliance, the workhorse in the kitchen, and agreed that it was worth saving if they could find the parts-and they did! Several weeks later, (and a good sum of money later), my cooktop is back in super condition. I had forgotten how nice it can be to have everything working at the same time. I have a 90 warranty and I I believe that we have found a winner here. I will have no hesitation recommending Nathan, Terrance and FixEm to anyone for all their appliance repair needs.

Super fast communication and very quick turnaround which we needed for a busted dryer. Whole laundry room was humid and Terrance -- a lovely guy and very good at what he does -- came out and made a quick fix that has the machine running like a Swiss watch.

My refrigerator started leaking water in my kitchen. I called Fix-Em the morning I noticed and Mo immediately talked me through exactly where to find the fridge water shut-off valve (which was across the kitchen under the sink). He explained exactly which knob to turn so I did not turn off my sink water or dishwasher. Just that was awesome and helpful for no cost! Then I noticed it was also wet under my sink. He recommended I get a plumber before having their tech person come by. Good thing as my kitchen sink drain was completely rusted out. Got that fixed by the next day. The day after that, Terrance, from Fix-Em, came by to check out my fridge

Turns out the water circuits were blown and needed replacing (300-$500) And my ice-maker hadn't worked right for a couple of years and it was clear my compressor is starting to malfunction.With the realistic diagnosis, I can use the fridge/freezer without the water dispenser, while I shop for a new model, before the compressor fails altogether and it is an emergency

I highly recommend these guys. I was able to schedule someone to come out quickly to fix my dryer. The technician, Terrance, was really great. I had a counter over my washer and dryer and he helped me move it and put it back, which was really a pain in the butt. Above and beyond. After taking everything apart, he gave me a fair quote, went out to buy the supplies he needed and fixed it the same day. It couldn't have been easier. And Terrance was truly a pleasure.

FixEm saved the day for me twice recently. My washing machine broke down and the other appliance repair services nearby told me they were booked out for weeks. FixEm was able to send someone out that same week. Terrance, the technician, was able to quickly diagnose the problem (somehow a lost set of house keys made it into the motor!) and get it running again the same day, and he even helped me re-install it in our cramped washer closet.

Thankfully he left his number because a few weeks later our dryer stopped running. Even though I reached him on a day off, Terrance talked me through the problem and was able to guide me through solving it myself without a visit. I will definitely call FixEm for any future appliance problems and request Terrance.

We were helped by Terrance this month when our dryer broke. The service was great! FixEm responded to our Yelp message right away and offered to come out the next day. Terrance was easy and fast to work with.

Even despite needing to order a new dryer part, the initial inspection and follow-up repair were completed within 1-2 weeks after our Yelp message. Overall, FixEm had some of the fastest end-to-end service that we've used from an appliance repair company

There were several things wrong with my refrigerator. Terrance was a great combination of knowledgeable, patient, and clear. I really appreciate the way Terrance helped me figure out the best way to proceed in a situation that wasn't cut and dry. Thanks to him, I feel good about my decision. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you so much for your truly outstanding service on our fridge repair! Terrance patiently did problem solving with our ice maker, explained issues with the Samsung model we have/ demonstrated excellent product knowledge about this. We really appreciate his honesty! Terrance also gave us some excellent maintenance tips for preventing future problems.
